Property Ratings at Deer Pointe Apartments
Not only is the apartment falling apart, but I’ve had terrible interactions with the management. If I could leave zero stars, I would! I’ve contacted them about my door three times. The third time the door had completely snapped, it won’t even close. I attempted to call the emergency maintenance line and they never contacted me back so my door was left Open Where someone can break in all night and when I asked them why they did not answer my emergency maintenance call, They told me that that that wasn’t their problem that It was the landlord’s problem. When I asked for the landlord’s number, she refused to give it to me. This is the second time They haven’t answered my emergency maintenance call. Last winter they left me and my baby in this apartment with no heat In 30° weather for an entire weekend. If I could leave, I would! This place is disgusting on top of all of that.
Overall I had enjoyed my stay at this apartment complex. It was during a time where I went through a divorce the rent was inexpensive and I could afford it. But you get what you pay for if you know what I mean. The biggest concern would be the possibility of some kind of mold or air quality issue that the place has. The air ducts in the building are connected to all the other so you can expect to breathe your neighbors cigarette smoke. So beware if you're a non-smoker. Also be careful of when you do move out. Get a complete move out inspection and have them sign off of it before you leave. They soaked me for about $500 that wasn't mentioned in the move out inspection.
Poor management, aka everyone is very rude! Buildings are falling apart, mold in the bathroom and under sink in the kitchen. Carpets were supposed to be cleaned (I cleaned again before move in and came out black)
Buildings are old and outdated cramped floorplan and unpleasant neighbors and management
Really like this apt. complex and the area. My main dis-satisfaction is with the spiders. The spiders at this complex grow very big. The huge spiders we have seen on our apt. wall, on the outside of a bedroom window screen, and downstairs in the laundry room. These spiders were 5 inches in diameter and very thick. You talk about scary. When we moved from this apt. complex, we were hoped that none of the spiders that roamed this apt. complex got into our boxes of belongings that were stored in the storage room. Thank God, the spiders never moved with us. Many spiders there of all sizes, wood spiders. They come in easily because the patio doors do not go all the way down to the floor, which lets in spiders and cold air. The week that we moved, a spider that I had gotten off of our balcony came back and built a balcony-wide, spider web mural on our balcony. It was time to go!! Mgmt., can't you do something to keep the huge spiders out of the buildings?
left immediately due to BED BUGS, wouldnt even give deposit back deposit , management is ridiculous
To the Owner of Deer Pointe Apts. You have a very nice apt. complex and maintain the indoors and outdoors very nicely and quickly. I would have liked to have stayed. Clermont County is my home. Also, I use to live in that very same back apt. bldg. from 1988-1996 with my husband and two daughters. My husband has passed on. One of my daughters is living with me here in Mount Washington. We have found a nice apt. where we each have our own private bedroom at an affordable price, close to stores, yet back away for privacy. This way it is permissible for the friend without a home to have a place to stay.
This is a great place to call home if you want to be in close yet feel like your in the country. The room are large and well maintained with nice closet area, nice appliances , fairly quiet and no one bothers you here.We have been here almost 2 years after selling our home in the country and we are glad we made the move. The pool is very well cared for on a daily basis along with the lounge chairs. I love sitting on the balcony after supper watching the kids play in the pool. The Owner is here in the office almost daily and the office folks, maintenance man, painters ,well all the help is nice and helpful. Just a good place to call home.
I am very happy here. Deer Pointe Apts. are very nice, inside and outside. I love the wooded area that surrounds the complex here. I am in the back apartment; and it is nice and quiet. A very good change from living on a main road in the city. I lived here before in this very same apartment bldg. I like it very much, and am happy to be back. Indoors and outdoors are nicely maintained and very clean. Everyone has been very nice.
