Good place to live in, everything else is good but the management is very rude.
I would give 0 stars if I could. The front office has the rudest staff, and they will do anything to make sure you don't get your deposit back. We always kept our apartment clean, and they told us our carpet had an animal urine smell to it - we didn't even have any animals! Would never have moved here if I read all the reviews beforehand.
Lived here for 1.5yrs. When moving out i was charged wrongfully charged for carpet cleaning. They used pictures of underneath the carpet to say it was stained, even though there was no stain on top of the carpet. The carpet wasn't new when i moved in (over 5yrs old), so i'm not sure how i was supposed to check under the carpet for any stains. I had no pets, no kids, and i have pictures with show the carpet spotless. When i spoke with the manager, she literally told me that i have to take her word that the underside of the carpet was clean before i moved in. I've lived in about 6 apartments as my company relocates me frequently for work, and i've never had a situation like this. I would highly recommend others to look elsewhere than deal with this. Or have them rip out the carpet and show you the underside of the carpet is clean during your move in inspection, cause they will use that to make you pay to upgrade their carpet.
I lived in this apartment for almost years. I like the location because it's close to my work. They have a good maintenance staff. The front office Manager Debbie and her staff are very rude, they don't care about good customer service to their tenants. All they need is for you to sign the lease. They argue with you for almost everything you need them to fix. The Ownership changed early 2019 but the front office remained the same. I don't recommend them to anyone. There are better places around. I wish I knew this before I moved to this apartment. When I moved out they charged me $400 for Livingroom blinds they believe are damaged. Instead of sending me my deposit, they send me a bill for $1,200 and threatened to take it collection if I don't pay. New tenants beware.
Hi everyone, if you are looking for a property that is owned and managed by accountable people, click on a different location. If you are looking for a property in which the management handles themselves professionally, please don't waste your time with this location. I will say, if you are looking for a place to live that is run by people that speak out of both sides of their mouths, and simply cannot be honest about what parameters are needed to live here, then by all means you should contact Deer Run. This is easily the most poorly run leasing agency that I've come across, and I strongly recommend choosing a different place to call home.
Very poor customer service. 1)There were not prepared for my appointment which was scheduled almost a week in advance and 2) The leasing agent denied my inquiry by trying to convince me that my AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD is a GERMAN SHEPHERD MIX. That is completely not accurate and incredibly ignorant. If no shepherd breeds are allowed, that should be clearly stated on any website details. I wasted my Sunday afternoon driving out there for a tour that was scheduled only to be denied based off wrong information. My tip for management: learn your dog breeds if you're going to have restrictions. I will not be recommending this complex to anyone.
The staff at Deer Run is wonderful...they take excellent care of the buildings and the grounds. Any maintenance needs are addressed within a day. My apartment is spacious and comfortable. Also, the location is great. Close to the highway and in a quiet section of Twinsburg.
Deer Run Apartments are in the heart of Twinsburg Ohio. Great schools, close to shopping and freeways, and you will feel safe living here. The apartments are large and quiet, nestled in a park like setting. The entire staff if very helpful and friendly. You won't have to wait long for someone to come and fix something inside the apartment. The only problem we have is large dogs being welcome and owners not cleaning up after them. Watch where you walk! Also the rent tends to increase a lot when you sign a new lease but Twinsburg is a very desirable location so it cost a lot to live here. 20 minutes to Cleveland or Akron so getting to work is quick and easy. Love the large living space inside and if you live in a garden style apartment you even have a attached porch. Big kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and his and her closets you get a lot for your money. Nothing to do but move right in!
Nice quiet area with both townhouse and apatment style living mixed. Pet friendly and multicultural community, nicely landscaped with picnic area, exercise and laundry area, or laundry room in some townhome and suites. Within walking distance of grocery and golf course. If you love the outdoors this is the area to rent. Located about 5 miles from the public library and city fitness center, the grounds and suite maintenance is well maintained, with onsite maintenance personnel. The only negative is that, the streets in the complex needs to salted adequately and parking lines needs to be added in the parking areas.
Superior service and scenic suburban location, this is the complex for you. Across from Center Valley Park and Liberty Park recreational site, You're just a short hike/or walk from some of the best nature spots in Northeast Ohio with virtually no crowds.The staff here are courteous, friendly and prompt with just a simple question or a complex maintenance issue. Just 20-30 minutes from both Cleveland and Akron, this location has the quiet desired by many for relaxation and ease of access to all the excitement of urban fun! THIS is Northeast Ohio's rental hot spot!
Deer Run is a great place to live. The view of the golf course is beautiful and very quiet. The apartment complex is kept very clean and in the winter the driveways are kept pretty clean. I like the idea that they except cats and dogs. There are several apartment complexes in this area that allow animals. I like the fact that they pay for water. The maintenance department have been wonderful and they respond very quickly and take care of things very well. I called them a few times and couldn't be happier with their work.
