Property Ratings at Deerfield At Indian Creek
Maintenance has not come once in the 10 months I’ve lived here. There is dog poop, broken glass, and trash all over the complex every single day. Off leash dogs everywhere and a crazy man that wanders around the parking lot. Management is incredibly rude and condescending and will do anything in their power to make money off of you.
Currently still live here and it’s literally not worth it. Was told we’d get a new fridge, dishwasher, and sink upon moving in… 4 months in and still have not received anything while the dishwasher and sink break once a week. Still have missing cabinets.. and they just don’t care about tenants issues. Do not move here.
Literally had to pursue legal action to get my heating fixed with temperatures dropping to freezing. Maintenance was great and tried to help but Management was refusing to seek outside help and had zero communication until I gave them the legal notice. And also the accounting portion is messed up with rent fluctuating monthly by 400$ with no apparent reason.
I've lived here for 3 years and the past 6 months have been enough to convince me that I am not safe living here anymore. The new management company does not care about the safety of their tenants or tenants property. Every car under my buildings car port has been broken into. A car was stolen, phones stolen from car, key locks completely stripped, car windows broken, documents thrown all around. The office asked me "what I want them to do about it" and when I said we want security they said they are "working on it". Myself and neighbors have all filed police reports for our situations but it's not the responsibility of the police to ensure the security of an apartment complex- it's the property managements! I am appalled by the lack of security measures taken from a place whose residence are getting robbed and property damage weekly. If you value yourself and your property-find somewhere else to live.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear this and are currently working very hard on preventative measures. Vehicle theft in Metro Denver has increased tremendously in the recent months and it’s a shame you were a victim of this crime. We care about our resident’s safety and security here and are not ignoring this by any means. If you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to contact us at 303-755-8750.
The ONLY reason you should settle for this place is if you have more than two pets and you can't get in anywhere else. If you are older, have special needs, or have kids, understand that your health, safety, and needs are not priorities to the office staff. We rented here from Oct 2019-July 2020. We never really had any issues until our outdated, ancient half washer/dryer broke in the spring right as Covid started. We had to initiate every conversation with the office staff and ended up having to use a laundromat during a pandemic despite paying astronomical rent to have access to our own sad excuses for appliances. The office staff continuously churned out excuses and lies about when our unit would be replaced or fixed. After (lying) telling us that they were planning to pull one out of another unit and admitting to not having anything on hand/backups in case of malfunction, they continuously sent an independent contractor to our apartment. They usually called to let us know he was coming about 30-45 minutes AFTER he showed up. From March/April to the day we moved out in July, we had no functioning washer and a handful of excuses from office staff. We reached out to Greystar, the parent company, several times and never heard anything back. By the time I started to lose patience with the inept office staff, they had resorted to throwing the maintenance team under the bus and shifting blame. We gave up and moved. For the amount of rent paid, this place is a train wreck. Tenants' balconies/patios are dry rotted and falling apart, siding falling off of buildings, broken sprinkler systems drenching the parking lots and sidewalks, overflowing trash cans of dog poop bags, overflowing dumpsters, etc. It also says a lot about the office staff that they removed my HONEST, fact-based review from Google. They do not want people to know what a mess this place is because they have to compete with so many other complexes. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Seriously, you have options.
Friendly management and move in process was easy/excellent. Apartment was in great shape.
I have lived at Deerfield for 7 years now and overall, it has been a very pleasant experience. The neighborhood is safe and inviting.
DO NOT live in this complex. After a shooting incident (9-30-2020) in which a homeowner negligently discharged a firearm and shot a dog, Greystar property management has not acted in any way to ensure safety of residents. While communicating with property management the answer has been "we're working on something but can't tell you what." As someone who lives close enough to the incident that a negligent discharge could have easily passed through my own walls and hurt myself or my family this simply is not an acceptable answer. We have additionally sought to simply leave and forfeit out entire month's rent, but greystar is demanding full notice and lease break if we take that route. This is not a complex that takes safety issues of this magnitude seriously at all.
Great and welcoming dog-friendly community! So far our best living experience since moving to Colorado.

Having had to do all apartment searches remotely we found that the quality of the complex, quality of the staff and ease of doing business with Deerfield to be on point! We had to do all our research and decision making from Vermont and Shannon and staff made life very easy for us. Choosing Deerfield as our new home for the next two years was made with confidence and peace of mind.

Great apartment better than a lot of them
Its a great place to live! Great floor plans and affordable in a really nice area!
We have relocated from Ohio to Denver and chose Deerfield because of the communication and friendliness of the leasing staff, Crystal and Brittany. They have been so helpful and responsive, willing to answer any question we had and going above and beyond in so many ways - like sending pictures of our unit! We are beyond satisfied with the customer service and highly recommend Deerfield to anyone looking in the area!

These apartment homes are very spacious and the patio can provide the best fresh air.

Unsatisfactory maintenance and equipment
The property lacks proper maintenance and upkeep. But they dont fail to raise your rent every year!
Great place to live. Quiet people are friendly and the staff is friendly to and everything is done orderly.
The community and staff at Deerfield are very warm and friendly. We have felt like were at home since the first day.
Excellent place to live. Very happy with my choice of Deerfield Apts
I had been in my current address for around two years ,and I had noticed the following about my apt. - The place is excellent , neighbors are so friendly ,( district so safe to live in ).no problems till now. -The manager and all staff are so polite and cooperative . - You will never regret it if you rent in this place but the price is a little bit higher than nearby places ( but the better place the more expensive will be ).
