Mebane sits along Interstate 40 nearly equidistant between Greensboro and Durham. This charming town blends small-town charm with a surprising amount of urban convenience, especially in its well-maintained downtown center. Apartment communities and single-family rentals both new and old provide plenty of variety for renters in Mebane. Downtown, you’ll find murals commemorating the city’s history and the Mebane Train Display celebrating the city’s once flourishing railroad-driven industry. Just off East Center Street lies a number of incredible locally owned restaurants, including the Mebane Downtown Table, an upscale American restaurant. There are pocket parks and small lakes scattered around Mebane, bringing some big-city character to this rural community.

Property Ratings at Deerfield Crossing
The staff is great with providing information and the property is in great structure and condition. A very pleasant stay!
This property is an excellent choice for apartment selection. The in home service provide from the staff such as repairs and maintenance is very structured. The property manager Christina is so kind and generous with providing any information regarding the residence and/or simple guidance. Love it here !
The property manager Christina was very helpful in gearing the application process as well as providing necessary information.
Since new management took over the biggest thing they've done is raise the rent $210.00 and got rid of maintenance crew. There is no maintenance, if something breaks in your apartment you'll be waiting!! My kitchen lights went out over a month ago and I'm still waiting.
They have no maintenance half the time, the pool is green, no wi fi to fitness room, trash everywhere, condemned units, roaches, pipes leaking , bad ownership, and all around no longer a safe , habitable place to live.Ask any Tennant's all of the stories are the same
Since new management, nothing gets fixed. Our heat has been messed up for the longest time (at least a month), dishwasher has water in the bottom, and our kitchen light is out. The maintenance guy said he would be right back on a Friday 2 weeks ago he didn’t come back and didn’t come back the following Monday. My mom was told she now has to get back on the waiting list until maintenance gets back to us even though she has a disability and that doesn’t matter. Can’t wait to move out in March!!!
This property is ran by incompetent staff who plays favoritism, staff is condescending. The repairs are not done in a timely fashion. The neighborhood has drugs and children that loiter and smoke marijuana on the property. This is a waste of money and because it is income restricted they talk to you like you are poor. Worst decision ever would not recommend.
