Gym is closed, no business center. Pool is closed. False advertising. Apartment was filthy at move-in-damaged mirror, appliances and cabinetry. All light covers were dirty and there was spattered paint everywhere. Baseboards and door sils were filthy. Damaged countertops and door hinges not aligned. Poor lighting at night, safety issue. Parking spaces are very small. Staff at office made no attempt to accommodate my concerns. Move-in checklist listed major problems in each area. Next stop, BBB. Worst Apartment rented ever X 10. You won't want your friends to see this dump.it takes weeks to clean after move-in and still smells horrible.

Me and my small family of 4 moved in a couple months back with a mission to find our first home together in a more safe/peaceful environment. After a month of looking Del Mar's quiet community and available staff grasped my attention right away. With the helpfulness and kindness of the staff we were able to move in immediately. The apartments and outside scenery are always well maintained by their lovely maintenance team. There is even a plaza near by for family fun activities!
My family has been living in these apartments since 2009, while others would ask why live in apartments for so long instead of looking into homes (houses) we reply because these apartments are our home. We love living in this community, the office staff has always been good to us residents, very kind, and are willing to hear you out if any emergencies come up. The interior of the apartments are beautiful! The outside is always clean as well. I would say to definitely stop by if looking for a nice, quiet, and cozy place to live at!
I have been living at Del Mar Apartments for over 5 years now. I have rented in other apartment communities but never felt at home as I do now. The front office is always ready to serve you with any issues. The maintenance team do a quality job and do what they can to get fixed what you have turned in as an issue. As the new owners have taken over for the last few years they have repainted the buildings, add security cameras and so much more. I walk at night for exercise and seem to run in to the contracted security team very often. The Del Mar team has different events through out the year so apartment families can meet each other. As I work in customer service at a hospital in the area I fully know what the front office should do to make their customer happy. And they always when they can try to fix the issue. Last year in June I had lost my A/C. I stayed in a hotel for one night. They had parts on backorder so it took a few days to repair. So the front office arranged for me to stay two nights in the model apartment. And they did credit me my one night stay at a local hotel. I can go on and on about Del Mar but I'll stop now. Just one great team to make your life less stressful!

To whom it may concern, I live at the Del Mar Apartments at 85th Ave. & McDowell Rd. I wanted to let you know how awesome the crew is here. Whenever I see them they always greet me with a friendly smile and are very courteous. The maintenance people do great as well. Any concern I have is promptly taken care of and the grounds are also clean. DB
Very very nice management is sweet very helpful. Maintenance man are great like living there.
I have to write this review although We ended up not taking an apartment, it wasn't because we did not love, love, love the apartments.. It just so happened a home opened up for rent a few doors from my sister.. Kayla, Sarah, & Blanca were extremely helpful w/making our decision to stay at Del Mar...Kayla, is very personable, friendly and is an asset to Del Mar's staff...Had this home not opened to us we would be living at De Mar... If you're looking for somewhere to rent? This is the place for you..

I love Del Mar Apartments the staff is very friendly. I had looked at several apartments, and Del Mar were the nicest ones, and very large rooms. I have looked at several other apartments that were the same size, and the rooms looked small because of the layout. Del Mar is clean, and quite for the most part. Most of all I feel safe when I am here.

I have been a resident for the past 7 months, and this is the best complex I have lived at. Everything from how tight knit the community feels to the security that the gated complex offers is just something that is very hard to find in the west valley. You won't drive around in endless circles to get to your destination, everything is accessible and very safe. If I have any maintenance requests they are addressed right away. I love the fact there is never any noise, you would think that being an apartment complex that you would hear your neighbors but I have yet to hear a peep coming from any wall or exterior noise. I just love this community all the way around. I do wish there was a playground for my child to play in, but the pool and grassy areas do offer some entertainment, and there are several parks nearby, so not too worrisome.
although a smaller community, the property is very well kept and the interior design of the apartments are beyond what you expect pulling into the community. between the stainless steel appliances, fancy lighting fixtures, wood floors, fancy cabinets and upgrades items in each room YOU CANNOT GET A BETTER PRICE in the west valley. the staff is amazingly nice and on top of things. what can I say im a sucker for luxury and luxury is what I got.

I moved here a couple months ago. ive lived in the west valley my whole life. im recently engaged and have a baby on the way. moving in here has been so pleasant. the staff is kind and the community is safe!! the staff truly cares about the safety of the community and the residents. Safety is just one of things I love about Del Mar. I am also in love with the apartment. it is luxury to the max. stainless steele appliances, wood flooring, dimmer switches..just to name a few. they really thought of everything!

The staff here is friendly and make you feel welcome the apartment was clean and ready to go when we were you have your own gate code for this gated community there is a pool and fitness center Stainless steel appliances and washer and dryer is the unit huge bathroom and walk in closet also has a private balcony and this place is in walking distance to SAMs club
Best apartment I have lived in its always clean and maintenance always does repairs with in a timely manner. The office staff is always nice and friendly as well as helpful when we have questions or concerns. Our neighbors are quite and also very friendly. The parking is hassle free. Our courtesy patrol is friendly as well. It also helps that one of the maintenance guys lives on the premises in case of major emergencies. The landscapers is kept up very well with landscapers coming in every few weeks. The gates are always functioning properly so you don't have to worry about random people walking in who don't belong there and every once in awhile Phoenix PD patrols the area along with courtesy patrol which of course make you feel extra safe. The pool area is kept nice and clean and our office even offers movies to rent out. This place is a nice quite area to live in and very close to Downtown PHX as well as Westgate. I always recommend our complex to anyone looking to rent an apartment in West Phoenix.
