My husband and I have been residents at Del Mar since October 2017. We have always been treated with respect, kindness, professionalism and understanding from management. They put a lot of emphasis on resident satisfaction and it shows. From amenities to landscaping, community events to maintenance- management is amazing. Regarding the maintenance team- Lee has been very helpful over the years, even handling matters after hours as has Robert and various other team members whose names are escaping me at the moment. I look forward to running into Joanne on the property and having nice, brief discussions- and my dog loves the attention she'll give him. The office staff has been spectacular over the years as well, a lot of names have come and gone in almost 7 years; but I've remained impressed at how friendly and helpful all of them consistently are. In the past few months I've had the pleasure of talking to several including Michelle, Rene, Mo and Sandy regarding anything from work orders to pricing to general questions. I appreciate how friendly they always are, and how if they don't have an answer- they will find one. That's an admirable quality that is sorely lacking in this world today!! This is an awesome place to live and I highly recommend it.

This is a horrible place to stay at. Security, safety, privacy and parking are all issues. If you like run down Apts. and no parking at all even if you have a permit. We were told from the beginning that any cars with no permits can park out front of the gates. Garage permits must be inside and 1 permit inside the gate open area. We followed all rules, but it seems many don’t. Garages are for peoples gyms and storage. Inoperable vehicles take up a spot. Emailed management team about permits and no parking etc. Next day manager calls me about the issues and says that my daughter should go park at a friends house and Uber here nightly. That was her suggestion as she laughed about it. Also says I should of never rented here knowing parking was this bad. No I didn’t know that rules weren’t followed properly and not everyone was treated equally when it came to parking and violations. If you have young teenage child who drive they will have to walk for blocks where street parking maybe, also the homeless in the park is a safety issue as you walk around thru the gates to get to your apt. No privacy and they can enter into your apt. with no warning and say it’s a leak. A phone call was made to husbands phone with no message left while at work. I was not called. I was in bed sick and my daughter was in the shower. No doorbell and they claimed they knocked but door downstairs. My door opened and I thought my husband came home early from work. It was a stranger looking at me while I was in bed. I screamed and he ran out. maintenance guy looking at me. My child was in the shower. He continued to come into the apt. I called manager and she said they have right to enter for leak. There was no leak and we had no warning what so ever. They never came back to check the apt. after I was startled and I called again the manager and questioned why they didn’t come back to check for the leak. She claimed they found it. never informed me as I waited for them to come back. Another time we got a phone call on Sunday morning waking us up asking if we hit gate. They said the camera couldn’t read the license plate and it looked like my husbands truck. Questioned us if we left or came home at 1:30 am. We told her no we been home all night. Then questioned again about truck and they calling the police dept. my husband got scared and ran outside to see if someone stole it. It was there same spot as we left it the day before. There has been numerous police at these apts.

This is a beautiful apartment, great for the price. It has all the amenities and appliances you need. Everything is well maintained. We haven’t had any trouble living here, we love it!

If you enjoy your cars being towed and broken into and your garage being broken into and ransacked. Being disrespected by employees and not getting your deposit back when you move out then this is the place for you.
This apartment complex is chaos! The management just doesn't seem to be able to handle this property. Not only was my unit not ready for me to move into (screen door was for a different door, A/C unit was broken, Washer/Dryer was broken. Balcony was soggy and you could poke through to the 1st floor) We put in request to maintenance, however no real work was done until we complained directly to management. From Feb - May all maintenance work was completed, we waited extra days without A/C to be given a new unit. FINALLY every seemed to be completed. NOPE, on May 25th a notice was left at our apartment, that maintenance was AGAIN going to be in our apartment between 8 AM - 5 PM to replace A/C AGAIN!, reseal the granite, and to clear out the vents for the dryer. This means I have to make sure the apartment is ready for them to do this work, and have a place for our pets. How is Del Mar is going to give us 1 business day notice, over a holiday weekend, to clear off ALL counter tops, bathroom tops, fire place. Put the pets into a room, that doesn't have granite (closet) and then wait 9 hours for them to show up to do work, that they already completed in my apartment.
I have lived here for 10.5 years and its been nothing but miserable! In that time absolutely nothing was done to my unit, ever! Then when I call them out about it they gave me lies saying they scheduled these things and then canceled. And basically said if you dont like it then move out. I had to hire an attorney. And this was after giving them $250,000.00 in rent and never being late. The management is rude and only wants your money. Avoid this place at all costs!! I only rated one star because you can pick zero.
Fully loaded with the basic necessities you will ever need, this apartment is the literal meaning of a dream come true for many people, surrounded by a peaceful environment with shopping centers and the best schools in Southern California. These basic necessities include fully operational appliances such as the standard sized washer, dryer, air conditioning, fridge, stove, microwave, and a fairly large if not full sized kitchen with almost too many cabinet drawers. On top of that, this apartment came with an enclosed garage, and a balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Some of the most unique factors that make this apartment a jewel of the city are the helpful staff members and maintenance who will go above and beyond to satisfy tenants. Most of the neighbors are also friendly and helpful, or generally quiet. Near the apartments are some swimming pools, a fitness center, and a tennis court. Every detail is polished if not painted over, making this the perfect apartment.
Just moved in, have loved these apartments since i first saw them 2 years ago. Leasing office staff are very friendly and nice and the facilities maintenance staff are also wonderful. Love the workout rooms and the Sauna!!! they have club houses for resident use (rental) and pools and Jacuzzi's all around the property. The 3bd 2 bth is a great layout, very spacious. I love that I don't have to share my front entrance with another apartment, i walk up my own stairs and can have plants and even a table and chair out there to enjoy the view. The patio balcony is very spacious too.
I love my place. It's one of the few things I look forward to when I'm away at work or out and about. The location is ideal, I'm basically centrally located near everything I want to be near. There's parks everywhere and the people and staff are really friendly. If the weather is to hot all I have to do is take a walk across the parking lot and cool off at the pool or if I want to just relax the jacuzzi is there to calm my nerves. They have all the amenities you can ever need here, built in washer and dryer a beautiful kitchen spacious rooms and if I feel like a work out a state of the art Gym. If something breaks like the washer not working all I have to do is call the office here at Del Mar and they come fix the problem right away. They even have get togethers like BBQs for all the tenants so that we can mingle and know who are neighbors are. What more can I ask for. I highly recommend staying here and have recommended it to my friends who are looking for a place to live. You can't find a better place for the price the amenities and most of all the people who live and work here.
My wife and I owned our own home for many years and were always happy in the experience. We recently moved to California and decided to rent an apartment in the Inland Empire. Our search took us to Corona, Fontana, Claremont and cities in between. After being delighted with the facilities and their personnel with such attentive service, we decided that the Lewis Apartments at Del Mar and their affiliates provided us the best value in service and amenities. We chose them over the many others we had visited. We have been in our apartment now for a few months and are still impressed with the apartment grounds, amenities, service and quality personnel. I would recommend the Del Mar apartment facilities and lifestyle to anyone that seeks the joy of exceptional apartment living.
Once I saw the place I knew I was home. I have lived here for over 5 years and have been impressed with the staff and service. The staff is very efficient in fixing the problem and always does so in a professional manner. The proximity to the local parks and shopping is very convenient and I really enjoy the pools. All the apartments have been recently remodeled. This is a very safe neighborhood and a welcoming experience for your whole family.
I truly enjoy living in this safe and wonderful community. I like the friendly, outgoing, and efficient staff. I've been living at Del Mar Apartments and I could say that I am very happy to be part of it.
I have been living here since August Last year and have never had any problem. The location of these apartments are great with many restaurants, two malls and many grocery stores nearby. The community is great with 24 hour gym, swimming pools, business centre and common areas. People are friendly with a great family living environment. Management is very helpful and resolves any issues very quickly

My apartment home is my little piece of heaven in the heart of Terra Vista shopping community. I am within walking distance of numerous restaurants and fabulous shopping. My apartment community is so beautifully landscaped that it gives you a feeling of living in the country. I have great club houses, swimming pools and an exercise facility to use any time. The are numerous activities, dinners, promotions and even free breakfast offered periodically. I travel a lot for business and the staff waters my outdoor plants as I refer to as my "children" It's great where I live.
I live in the Del Mar community. This place has provided me with amazing customer service from the time I came in to look at an apartment and continue to do so three months later. When I first moved in I had a couple of issues with the sink and fridge which they tended to right away. They sink was fixed and the fridge ended up having issues again a couple of days later which at that point they just replaced it. Problem solved. I decided I wanted to install a ring for a hand towel and match the toilet paper holder in the master bathroom so I called down and they sent someone out the next day to install them for me. The community sends out monthly flyers for events that they hold like pizza nights and beach party's which is pretty cool. There's a few play areas for kids dotted around the community, an after school kids program that goes for a couple hours after school, and there are actually 3 parks and an elementary school surrounding the community which is great if you have kids. The community is in a nice quiet location close to lots of shopping, restaurants, theaters, and easy access to freeways. The Grounds are well kept as well and pet friendly. There are lots of other features and amenities this place has to offer as well. All in all a great place to live.
I love my apartment. It has plenty of closets and cupboards. I love having a fireplace. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. They do preventative matinence checking plumbing, water heater, changing air filters. The grounds are always kept up and everything is kept clean. The rent is fairly priced and they have a lot of family and even for singles. They don't put up with any disruption or nonsense.
Del Mar in Rancho Cucamonga one bedroom apartment has one of the nicest kitchens my wife and I have ever had in an apartment. We love living here. The staff is always courteous, punctual, and friendly. We have never had a major issue with anything. If we need something fixed we submit a work order on line and it is answered right away. The only thing I wish they had was online rent payment. I find that more convenient then writing a check each month, but it is definitely not a deal breaker.
When we were looking for another apartment to fit our growing family, we chose this one. On the plus side: Our two bedroom apartment is located between units not above or below which was a must as I have small children which pound when they run around. Our unit is isolated enough so you hardly ever hear the neighbors through the walls. Our apartment has an attached two-car garage which came with a washing machine and dryer. It has adequate room for some storage as well. The master bedroom is larger than I have a need for, but the other bedroom is large enough to fit a bunk bed and a second twin bed unlike most other apartments in the area. I enjoy having the bathrooms with a tub/shower adjoined to the bedrooms to allow for privacy. The air conditioning/heating system works great and can maintain the desired temperature fairly quickly. Our community is pet friendly but there is an additional monthly cost for pet rent. There is an elementary school next to the complex which makes commuting very easy for the little ones. Also, the maintenance crew here is very quick to come and fix any problems you may have usually within a day. The complex is clean, well maintained, and the landscaping is taken care of regularly. On the negative side: When I moved here three years ago, I really liked that this complex didn't have gates like our last apartment complex. It was always a pain to deal with when friends and family came to visit. Now, the complex has been transformed into another gated community. Tall, uninviting, black gates welcome me to my home before I can even enter my garage. The front of the complex looked much nicer before the new gates went up. We have another half bath that resides under the stairs. While it's nice to have a toilet downstairs for guests, it's kind of small and right next to the living room and dining area. The dining area is very small and barely fits a table for more than four people to sit at. Unfortunately, it's the tiny kitchen that is the biggest problem in this apartment. The way it is laid out makes it very difficult to prepare meals as the best counter space is over the dishwasher across from the stove. There is just not enough room for all my pots, pans and appliances in this kitchen either. *The complex is split into two developments of apartment buildings. For clarification, this review reflects the newer buildings on the northern side of the complex that have attached garages.
We wanted an apartment with two master bedrooms and big enough to live comfortably while we search for the perfect home and the Del Mar apartment complex was a perfect fit.
With all the work that has been completed these past few months is a site you can't resist. Can't wait for the new gated community to be up and running. Counting down the days. ??
I have lived at the Del Mar apartments for over a year and signed the second year lease without much thought. The complex is clean, the staff are friendly, and they communicate well with tenants. Since I've lived here the complex has been gates which I'm grateful for. My unit is located close to the streets and it's very loud. Other units have a noise barrier around their balconies but I do not the and traffic from outside was hard to get used too. There is a requirement that tenants park in their garages but good luck if you have a guest or want to use your garage for storage. Temporary parking permits are available but the spaces are so limited. Overall, I am happy with the leasing company, after being here for a year I am eligible to have my carpets cleaned for free. My floor plan is called the "del mar" and it is a very spacious 3 bedroom. I have no complaints about living here other than the noise from being so close to the street.
The unit is a nice enough to unit for apartment living, there are just a few details that need to be upgraded based on the rent, the way the inside and the main entrance doors were put in , ( badly I may say ) to much air space , between doors and frame. I the sliding glass closet doors are made so cheaply that when you pull on the frame yo close them , the frame pulls away from the glass and come of the track, ( Often ) . The faucets in the bathrooms are of a low quality, the blinds should be faux blinds, the mirrors should have been trimmed , fans should have been in all bed rooms, along with ceiling lights in all bedrooms. The garage door should have two springs instead of one, ( when it is being lowered it drops with a Big Bang, waking my daughter at night. ) these are the reasons I rate my apartment a three .
I have lived at the Del Mar Apartments for close to 4 years. So i believe i can give a proper review. It really is a great place to live. From the friendly office staff who are always quick to solve any problem you may have. To the fast acting maintenance personal. They make it easy to get parking permits for visitors. They are pet friendly. office staff listens to request from the residents. Leading to the newly remodeled units,paving of parking lot and gating the community. There are great features like , tennis courts ,gyms ,pools an area to bbq play areas for kids also located across from two parks. So if you're looking for a great place to live thats relaxing with a fresh new feel with an open door feeling with office staff come to Del Mar
I recently moved into the del mar apartments in rancho, while my apartment is amazing and large, living upstairs makes the apartment very hot. The air has to be run consistently to keep the apartment cool. The Lewis community does a great job of getting onciled with their residential community. There are a lot of events including but not limited to dinners, beach days, bingo, park days. Very close access to three different parks all touching the borders of the apartment complexes. Soon to be gated community is a nice addition to the safety of my family. Some of the neighbors are not too friendly. Wish their were better amenities like the homecomings have but overall a nice place to live.
I was recently divorced and lost my house, and so I needed a place that was secure, feels comfortable, close to shopping amenities and looks like a home not an apartment. Guess what my tour was at Del Mar, and the experience was amazing! I found my home again and I am happy.
Del Mar apartments its home a great place to live from the time you walk in the introduction from the staff. My mother was a resident for over 10 years then my dad died so it was hard for my mom so she moved to the evergreen terra vista then after 3 years we had to go back to the Del Mar because it's home. I can never say " HOME SWEET HOME " and really mean it and feel it for any other community than DEL MAR . living here is so comfort , relaxing and joyful for all my family . Staff are so friendly and helpful . You can communicate with them easily . The pool , jym , spa , tennis court , volley ball and recreational area are so close , clean and always available for me and my guests. The business office ready for any need. Rent prices are reasonable and variable depending on your need and sqf. I am so happy and lucky for being a LEWIS APARTMENTS resident.
Moving from Ohio to California was a big change, but Del Mar Apartments has made us feel like we are home. From a clean, safe, pet friendly neighborhood to on-call friendly maintenance, large heated pools to a community grilling area, and just a short walk to many stores and restaurants in the Lewis Community, Del Mar Apartments is the best choice for any person whether single or have a family, to start their lives in California.

The Lewis Apartment Community is by far the BEST place to live when it comes to apartment home living. It's has a resort style feel due to the many amenities this great community offers as well as being close to many great restaurants, shopping malls, parks and walking/biking trails. Within my immediate family, my son, my daughter and their families and I live within the Lewis Apartment Community just blocks from each other. This should tell you something; WE ALL LOVE IT HERE!!! The following are just a few of the many amenities I get to enjoy: Clubhouse with Movie Theatre, Pools/Jacuzzis, Courtyard with Outdoor Fireplace, 24 Hour Gyms, Sauna, Tennis Court, Monthly News Letter with calendared Lewis Apartment Community events, Business Center, Bike Rentals, Movie Rentals, and the list goes on. after moving from a house i was amazed at how easy life is living in an apt. complex and lewis apartments has satisfied all my wishes. the personell are very profession al in their treatment of residents i tell people how a problem is solved before i hang up the phone the grounds and facilitiers are kept in fiorst class shape and i feel very secure in my surroundings the location is ideal for shopping and traveling near three freeways and entertainment there are numerous parks and facilities nearby for our usei am in atwo story townhouse and all the things i need are redil;y available all comments are positive i enjoy continuing my stay
I am extremely satisfied with this place that's the reason that I have 6 years in the same apartment . The management is great, the complex is clean and quit and the location is great. The apartment is extremely nice, the floor plan is perfect for a cozy home to relax. I like very much the price that is unbeaten comparing with anywhere else in the area. The attached garage is also a plus, specially when I come home with lots of groceries.
Ive been here for a little over a year, and i love it. Great area and environment. I love how its close to restaurants, parks, and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a play to rent.
While at my apartment I feel home, my dogs feel at home, and my life seems more organized even though it's very hectic to say the least.
A fine complex. Mostly quiet. The pool is large so it doesn't hurt to share. There is pretty much every restaurant ever within a 10 minute drive. The complex is surrounded by parks that link together. There are walking paths and bike paths in every direction. Close to 3 major freeways and 2 malls but not too close.
I love how spacious the apartments are. I feel like we have plenty of space. Noise is at a minimum and staff is wonderful.
Del Mar Apartment Homes are perfect for everyone. Dedicated staff, beautiful and well maintained apartment homes, grounds and amenities. Central to the best schools, shopping & dining locations, transportation and freeways. I couldn't have found a more perfect location. My children love it here which is what matters most to me. There is so much for them to do right outside the front door.
We moved in last week with our small dog and two kids. We have been loving the amenities like the pools and parks, everything was exactly as described on the website (which is great because we moved from out of state without seeing the place first). The kids'school is so close, and there are "doggie bag" stations throughout ( I haven't seen any doggie dumps left behind, yay!).
I've been a Renter at the Lewis Properties going on 5 years now. I was a Homeowner from 1998-2009 it was a Dream come True for me and my Mom but things changed in 2009 for the both of us. The Bank refused to do a Loan Modification so I lost my Home to Foreclosure. It took me awhile but I finally located a place for me and my Mom. We moved to one of the Lewis Properties. I thought everything would work out but on Oct. 3rd, 2011 my Mom passed away from Lymphoma once again I find myself moving to a much smaller place 711 Square Feet to be exact. All, I can say about both Lewis Properties is that they Welcomed me and my Mom with kindness and understanding even more so when I lost my Mom. I'm currently leasing at the Del Mar and I'm currently on Disability due to a Knee Replacement Surgery. The Carmel & Del Mar Lewis Properties are well kept. I constantly see employee's working the grounds Cleaning and picking up Trask. When, I have a Maintenance issue they respond ASAP. My Lease is up in October 2015 and I'm diffinitely renewing my Lease. Hope I get picked but if not that's Okay. Have a Nice Day and Thank You for Listening.
I live in lowes apartment for about a year and I like it so much
The faculty is nice and good location. The landscape isn't so lovely. By the office it's nice but not through out the whole complex. There's tall weeds in the bushes and mushrooms! The washer and dryer is in the bedroom and the ac drips into it. It is so loud and makes it hard to sleep! The pools are nice but again the two not by the office aren't cleaned as regularly. They let you rent bikes which is very nice only thing is they have to be back by 6, you can't rent them over night. The gyms aren't bad for an apartment however the sauna is always locked!! The apartments are beautiful but over all not worth what I pay every month.
This apartment is located close to grocery, restaurant, shopping mall and highways. Furthermore, it has nice community center for workout, pools and kids activity. The area is well secured and maintained clean all the time. The staff is very friendly and respond quickly to maintenance requests. All you need to live well is to pay rent on time. The rest will be taken care by this apartment.
Have been living here since 2009. I left for a month during the renovation of the apartment. Love living here. Office and maintenance staff are very kind and very efficient. Apt maintenance excellent and good security. Would recommend this apartment to anyone.
The apartments are beautiful and the maintanenace crew is awesome. Nice neighbors but management needs work. They recently gated the community and it looks really nice it's quiet but the parking is limited. The location is great because it's near the parks and trails so if you are an outdoor person this is a great location. I gave 3 stars because I feel like management does not take the time to get to know you, with the exception of Shauntia, she is the best.
I have been here for 11 years. Exlcellect Service. I would be happy to recommend to family and friends .
