Property Ratings at Delaview Apartments
Once was a beautiful place to live, management has ruined this place, electrical problems, flooding issues, Mold issues, lost gas service a year ago they are still trying to convert tenants to electric heat, have no access to laundry, place is a dump stay far away!!!
The apartment was listed available on the Apartment.com website and when I called them they confirmed it and gave me all the details for the application and even emailed me the application. About 3 minutes after the call ended, they sent me an email saying the apartment is not available without no explanation at all!!!!! I'm really disappointed about the way they treat their future tenants!!!! They just wasted my time telling me the details about the apartment when my 1st question to them was whether it's available or not!!!!
My husband and I moved here in July James has been great Frankie has been great views are wonderful apartment is great but maintenance is lazy and slow to get jobs done if you have dogs they are loud on purpose to set them off other tenants are nosy and will call management on every one for anything, since I moved in I stay to myself and just enjoy my apartment, parking is tight but other than that I’m good.
Just renewed my lease. I love my views,my apartment is beautiful. Grounds are beautifully maintained.Frankie our leasing consultant moved to another property with our management team but she continues to check on things and makes sure all is ok. Maria and Seven in the office are there to answer any questions that may come up. Maintenance is great and Management is on site daily checking on things.I love it here cheers to another year...
No words to express our full gratitude to this place. My husband and I moved here almost 3 years ago. We were in a rush to get a place and Frankie helped us every step of the way. We are finally moving. We will miss the view and our place. So many good memories. Very quiet neighbors, very secure, nice views in every angle. Maintenance are very reliable. They have cameras all over the place so we feel safe. Parking spots are only designated for tenants. Updated everything. We have lived in so many different places but this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Bristol Borough is a very quiet town with local amenities within reach. We are forever grateful. Frankie and Bo thank you for being the face of good customer and client relationship. For doing the things you do. Delaview thank you for your kind hospitality. We had a blast. - Ed and Matt A1
Me and my boyfriend are moving out of state in 2 months. I am so sad to leave for many reasons. The view from the 2nd floor is phenomenal! Kitchen beautiful! Grounds are maintained beautifully! I don't think enough credit is given to the property manager for all she does and continues to do, even though we are moving. The management team has exceeded our expectations. You will not see the owner much but the manager cares for this place as if she owned! Frankie, THANK YOU for caring and being such a huge part of our lives. We only hoped for her to be brought back to the property full-time... an office on-site was the best perk ever! The only downfall with Delaview is not being able to walk our pup in the courtyard. We been here for 3 years so it hasn't effected us too badly. We are going to miss our place and our view tons :( :( :(
Frankie (leasing agent) is absolutely amazing! She helped me so much and was extremely detailed and helpful during the approval process/making a decision to move in. Went above and beyond to answer all of my questions property is highly recommended!
Living at Delaview apartments has been a savior. Recently divorced, fifties plus Delaview gives me a private scenic view of the river from my patio, no noisy neighbors and historic building views on my 1.75 miles round trip walk to down town with extended trails all along the Delaware River. Comfort free living with no property taxes, no heat, water and garbage bills that I pay on other properties. I have always owned properties and now I feel differently. I still have the access to the major highways and cities but now no worries for property damage from weather and much lower costs. I can run my business, travel and enjoy life.
Me and my husband have been at Delaview since this management company took over a few years ago. Granted, apartment living is not for everyone but its for us! We are just as much in love with our apartment today as we were when we moved in. Our rent has increased every year but its fair. We plan on residing here as long as we are able to. I highly recommend the property and encourage you to wait for a river view to become available!!!
After spending 4 years in military and returning back home, my wife & I decided on this place and one reason being because of the low cost and the units were nice. Since day one I have problems here with management, maintenance, and as well as other tenants who have been here awhile and just want to stir up problems with new comers. Management was trying to charge me a monthly fee for my service dog along with another deposit of $250. Maintenance could possibly care less about the building and they have also entered my apartment several times without any authorization and without notice. The long time tenants continuously contact management with lies about other tenants and I also had a problem with them stalking my wife and I and taking pictures of us. The parking lot is very small and the other tenants could care less for your vehicle, I had multiple damages done to my vehicle as well as some that seemed intentional. Management has some type of connection with a towing company which they make a profit from (I was told this by the towing company) and they have a tenant who watches the parking lot and tries to get your vehicle towed constantly. I as well felt very discriminated against here by the longtime tenants.... Save your money! Spend the extra money elsewhere! I have no reason to lie what so ever about these things and do not wish this unwelcoming to others. Can not believe this is what I come back home too.
Absolutely love where I live, very proud to be a Resident here and I plan on staying as long as rent stays reasonable. Management is on point, grounds are clean and laundry is convenient. I would highly recommend this complex to older folks.. not kid friendly.
After a recent break-in in Building C, Management of Delaview Apts. started a locked main door policy in each building. There are however no provisions(NO DOORBELLS)for anyone making a successful delivery to any resident. This includes US Postal Delivery persons attempting to deliver handicapped people with medication essential for the resident. Yes you are reading my review correctly. The main door to each units are now locked. These buildings have no door bells. Frankie at the off site Management Co. when questioned about the inability of residents to get deliveries had NO practical solutions. So if you are a resident of the Delaview Apartments you can not order a pizza or anything else unless you care to wait outside for your delivery person to show up. Just a Great Way To Live.
First of all my view is to die for! I have really pretty carpet, new kitchen, bathroom, windows new everything. I come home and feel like I'm away down the shore every day.. I even see seagulls! Perfect place to live in my opinion! After reading comments on here its obvious some people are ungrateful wenches! When you ask the property manager to do something she jumps! You ask maintenance to take care of something they do it! I personally saw the owner on his knees in the dirt.. just goes to show. I think I know who the person is who wrote review about electrical box in daughter's room because there's only one apartment with a teen and none of us want them girls here! All they do is argue. I and a few other residents wrote manger a letter to beg for her not to renew them because they do not belong in a higher end community Shame to say.. you will still find bad buds out the bunch regardless of their income and credit! I refuse to let one apartment make me unhappy. You will see me on bench relaxing till its too cold then Ill sit my butt on balcony in a huge blanket! I am at peace.
My husband and I moved here right after changing owners. We love it here. Have no idea what the other people are complaining about. Maybe just to complain and are probably never happy. James, the new owner, invested a lot of time and money. He has every right to enforce rules. Everything is brand new....view is gorgeous. So beautiful in fact that we got married on our balcony overlooking the courtyard and the river. ENOUGH SAID. Maintenance Crew - GREAT.....always available - always helpful - always polite and they always get the job done. Primadonna's need not apply.
Delaview apartments has to be the absolute worst place you will ever live in. Since the day we moved in we've had problems with this place the first day here maintence had to fix something with the electrical box in my daughters closet and pushed the closet doors off the hinges and has yet to fix it that was in April. The maintence men are extremely incompetent and never get anything accomplished the apartments are nice at first glance but nothing but he'll when you move in. Save yourself the heartache and keep looking!!! I would be out of here if it weren't for the fact that I don't want to lose my security deposit for this dump.
I moved out of here after they switched owners. James (the new owner) tried to keep my security deposit (had to take him to court) They jacked up the prices I paid 715 all they did was paint it blue and put a new kitchen in. It was bad before it is worse now. SO MANY PROBLEMS.
All I can say is that you will not find a nicer apartment. It is quiet, cozy, and just gorgeous. I love the colors of the apartment and everything is BRAND NEW! I love it!
I have been living at this apartment complex since it changed owners and wow has it undergone tremendous improvements. All of the apartments are newly renovated and clean. The property manager is professional and responsive and the facilities are well taken care of and affordable. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone who wants a quiet and clean place to live.
As soon as we saw the view, we knew we wanted to live here. Great new appliances, long balconies and great view of the Delaware. Quiet, quaint and out of the way. We love it!
I love where I live,I have the best views, the best neighbors,my apartment is beautifully renovated. The staff and owners are awesome and maintenance,is wonderful, anything you need, they are on it!!!! I just signed for a second year and wouldn't trade it for anything!!!!!!
When I found these apartments I thought they seemed really nice. The model apartment was very nicely renovated. They had the allure of being newly renovated. When I moved in to my apartment it was quite obvious that the attention to detail on the remodel of my apartment was nearly nonexistant. There were many problems right off the bat and I ended up fixing many of them myself because the maintenance men are either lazy or incompetent. There isn't enough parking and the dumpster is not large enough to acommodate all of the tenants. The only reason why I am still here is the fact that I foolishly signed a 12 month lease.
Moved into my apartment in July. Love my apartment. Maintenance is a little slow with fixing things and the parking lot is horrible but other than that it's been great. I would give it 4 stars.
These apartments were the first ones my husband and I saw and after looking at so many others we decided this was for us. It met all our needs and went beyond our expectations. The first thing you notice is the beautifully landscaped property and then you have brand new appliances and carpet and a magnificent view of the river! Those features sold us on the apartments but what makes it so enjoyable is the pleasant leasing agent who is always willing to help and fixes things(get someone to fix things) almost immediately. I was surprised that when a stoves flame was too high the maintenance guy was here almost right away. The management here goes above and beyond and they actually care about the tenants for example, the leasing agent ,owner and maintenance guy all ask about my husband who is chronically ill and they are so willing to make accommodations for him. The part I like best is sitting on the benches facing the river and letting the cares of the day float away. It really is where traquility awaits! Check it OUT!
