Property Ratings at Desert Fountains at Palm Desert
Management is extremely unorganized and gave me and my co-applicant different answers. My application was denied even though we made more than 7 times the rent. Now, I have been waiting to receive my deposit back from January and still have not received it in late March.
These apartments are great! All staff including the maintenance guys are super friendly and kind. The neighbors are quiet and best of all you are in a great location. No complaints on my end I highly recommend Desert Fountain!
I've lived in this apartment complex for over almost 2 years because it's what I could afford at the time I signed the lease. The ladies in the office are wonderful, Dianne is the best. This place is disgusting! Roaches scatter everywhere in my kitchen when I turn the light on. There is freaking mold growing on the walls in my bathroom because the ventilation is outdated. The maintenance guy comes in and sticks a piece of toilet paper on the vent in the bathroom and if the suction holds it, they say it's working. They painted over it once already because it is impossible to get off the walls but they won't buy new ventilation systems? This is a health violation and I'm reporting it.
It was very very horrible experience to live in that apartment it is very infested with roaches my first bad experience was when i moved I didn't even have not even 2months living there the refrigerator stopped working and all my food went to waste . also all those cabinets are not in good condition as well . Also one of the poor experience I had in that apartment was that few months later all over the bathtub was a mess it seem like it was just covered with thick white paint so it could've look like it was brand-new I seriously do not recommend anybody to go live in that apartment complex environment
These apartments are perfect for small families or couples who are looking for something affordable in the area. The apartment has a patio which is great extra space unlike most balconies. The laundry room is open 24/7. Although there is no assigned parking you will not have any trouble finding parking as there is plenty all over the property. Utilities such as gas, water, trash and sewer are all paid for. It is conveniently located to grocery store, fast-food restaurants, a community college, and it's 10 mins away from the shopping mall. I have been here for nearly two years and the property is always very quiet and relaxing. I plan on renewing my lease!
These apartments are not the most fancy or spacious of apartments in the area but they are affordable and conveniently located in the heart of the city close to all the shopping centers, ect. It is suitable for small families or couples who are looking for an affordable place to rent. I have been leasing on the property for nearly 3 years and have never had a problem with anybody or anything. These apartments are a bit old and with only window A/C units, but water and gas are paid for which makes up for it. The best feature of these apartments is their spacious patios (not balconies!).
Nice Apartments for the price...close to laundry and grocery stores, also restaurants. Outer appearance not so good and appliances outdated, but energy bills are low and there are no problems with cable. Neighbors seem quiet, but you know how that goes...my experience has been nice.
It is a budget property in a nice area. Walls are painted block giving it an institutionalized feeling. No secure parking. Nice patio areas in one story buildings.
