Property Ratings at Desert Rose
Good and peaceful place and always felt safe to me laundromat is clean and convenient it’s gated so I felt safe if you’re new in town it’s a good place to stay at for a starter but after a month I started to see cockroaches. Stayed there 6 months and I would stay there again if I had to do so again other than cockroaches I had no other complaints. Property as a while is well maintained and clean AC fully functional and very cool during hot summer months
I've been here for 11 years ups and downs and it is now,im happy to say,at it's best to be a part of living here ,the management and new owners are sincere and thorough with compassion for their tenants and are on it with anything we need on property,,,very happy!!!!
The current management treats you like you owe them something. They are extremely rude to tenants (who pay their bills) and act like you don't matter. This is a hostile place to live. Once they have your rent-check then you don't matter one bit to them. Do Not Consider This Place A Good Place To Live. Period.
Put it short, Desert Rose looks okay from the outside. They are freshly painted units and the maintenance issues gets fixed in a manner of less than 48 hours. It is relatively quiet and I have not witnessed metro on site responding to calls. Neighbors are relatively quiet and respect quiet time. Electricity is included as well as the other basics. Gated is a huge plus considering the area. However, I have never experienced the delight of bed bugs before I moved in over one year ago. Management refuses to do anything other than mandatory pest control (every three months or so you will be informed with a 24 hour notice to enter, and they will enter even if you are not home). The manager refuses to have heat treatment for bed bugs or an actual effective bed bug treatment method. One is advised to wash all clothing and bedding, put said items into a bag, so in turn you have a pest control guy come buy and spray useless, harmful chemicals, around your apartment. Not even the mass of roaches are affected by this let alone the bed bugs. Resistance is futile here at Desert Rose when it comes to the infestation issues. So, pick and chose carefully as to if the benefits outway the risks of being eaten alive on a nightly basis. Other than that, it is a decent place to live. I'm on my way out of here at the end of the month. The manager looks baffled as to why anyone would want yo leave Desert Roach, which is okay. To each their own. Peace.
the manager is mean, not friendly and makes you feel she is the boss and you work for her. she will get you sign the contract to get the place rented and when you mentioned the place needs some cleaning she will tell you go clean it after the signature of the contract and money given.
I have been living here over 2 years, the first manager was great, then second one was WORSE EVER, but the property owner fired him and hired a new manager, put the things back on track, overall it's a good studio apartment that you can call it " home sweet home".
My husband and I have been living here for 8 months, and we love it. The people are nice and the manager is very nice. It's got a nice clean pool and a very good maintenance staff.
