Right outside of Fort Worth and only about 45 minutes from Dallas, North Richland Hills is a large suburban community that has developed a local character independent from its larger neighbors. The local schools are excellent, and numerous family-friendly activities make it a terrific option for anyone with children.
In the summer, NRH2O Family Water Park is one of the most popular attractions in town, and hockey games at NYTEX Sports Centre draw big crowds in the colder months. The city has a robust arts community, including the Art in Public Spaces Program which has supported art installations all over the community since 2002. Dozens of different public parks around town give everyone easy access to open-air recreation.

Property Ratings at Barrett Creek
New owners. I Like the quick repairs to my unit. Office staff is super helpful. They got rid of never used laundry room and put in a nice exercise room. My favorite is all the new lighting under the carports.
It is is a nice property. The parking lot is well lite at night. The place has been upgraded and a very nice community. The have new grills, security system, gated access, new playground, freshly painted and so much more. You could tell the mgmt takes pride of this community. The staff is so friendly. I highly recommend this place
The property gets sold every couple years, each new company comes in and fixes things nobody asked for while finding creative new ways to increase rent. My rent is $500 higher than I was paying 2 years ago. They replaced all the window screens with screens that don't stop bugs and our cats could just squeeze through the large gap. So we have to rely on the bad air conditioner that can't keep up with the poorly insulated apartment. They just recently started to make us pay for an overpriced tv/internet package that is extremely limiting. No wired internet, no custom router settings (can't host Minecraft servers without port forwarding). It is the reason I'm writing this review because I can put up with annoying stuff but having to pay for 2 internets to get basic features is ridiculous. They want is to have maintenence come out every 3 months to replace the air conditioner filter. I can do it myself, just automatically drop one off at the door and don't make me remember. Plus they often ignore maintenence requests on their website, you have to call them in. The other really big annoyance is they have rules about noise at night but they refuse to enforce them. Over the years we've had 4 different problem neighbors who regularly would blast wall shaking music into the early morning and there's nothing you can do but maybe call the police and get 15 minutes of quiet until they just turn the music back on. Why have rules on the lease if they aren't enforceable?
Apartments weren’t bad for the price when we moved in and maintenance wasn’t that big of an issue with old management. But now they want to raise rent several hundred dollars and not change anything to make it worth it. They force you to pay for cable and trash service no one wants. Maintenance doesn’t come when requested and they mark the case as resolved when they really are just ignoring your concerns. Dumpsters are constantly overflowing. Gate hasn’t worked since new management took over. Not the worst place to live but definitely not worth the price. And the apartments don’t look how they do in these pictures by the way, it’s all filters and slick camera angles.

We appreciate you feedback but would love the chance to speak with you about your concerns. Right now Barrett Creek is renovating the entire business center and adding new amenities for you to enjoy, as well as installing an awesome program with Spectrum. As a reminder, Spectrum is not a service that is being billed at this time. If you have time, stop by the office for a chat.Rachael Anderson, Area Manager
Outside is amazing. Inside, not so much. Apartments are run down. Even the updated/upgraded units. The office staff need customer service training. Dog poop, unleashed dogs and restricted breeds everywhere. Bugs. Ants everywhere on the property. Broken down vehicles that have been sitting forever. Tenants have visitors on weekends and they park where no other tenants have spaces. And parking spaces are very limited to begin with! The security gate has not worked since Madera took over property management. They charge way too much for what they offer. My advice, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

These apartments are so gross, my house has been infested with centipedes since may and hard to get any response from front office we have to call 15 times a day for them them to answer 4 days later and still not get us an update on when an exterminator can get out here. Disgusting. Way too high for the treatment and the miscare of tenants. I applaud people who have been here year, won’t be here longer than my lease that’s for sure.

Great maintenance staff
Horrible! Like living in 1980, but with WiFi.
Generally, I'm very happy here. I just feel strongly that they should have recycle bins onsite, and I don't know why they didn't wire for lights and ceiling fans in our spacious living rooms. Just an older complex, I guess, but a nice place to live.
Everything is how I expected it. Im very happy with everything.
Excellent place to live for the price. Great maintenance staff as well as courteous leasing staff and Manager.
So far we have enjoyed our stay here.
Excellent
This is a great place to live in a good location. The staff is very attentive and courteous.
We've been here for about a month and Diamond Ridge is a great place to live! My apartment is updated with stainless steel appliance and cute backsplash in the kitchen. I like how the kitchen opens up into the living room. Free parking is always available right in front of my apartment and it is pet friendly which is important. Management is also very nice and helpful. I think our place is adorable and we plan to stay for a long time!
Stay away unless you can't afford anything better! This place is old and worn-out. The buildings and parking lots are in serious need of upgrades! But only the bare minimum of upkeep (and sometimes not even that much) is being done. Don't be fooled by the pleasant appearance of the buildings and landscaping near the font the complex. That's the *only* area that looks nice. Farther back, you'll see just how sad most of this place looks. Also, don't be fooled by the photo in this listing. My kitchen doesn't have a microwave - I had to buy one. And the refrigerator is ancient and doesn't have an ice maker. In fact, all of the kitchen appliances are ancient and barely functional. There are many, many other reasons I'm unhappy here, but I don't have the energy to get into all of them now. I'll just say I've lived in only *one* place that was worse than this. At least the apartment managers are friendly. I think they would like to help more, but they're probably limited by Greystar. So I'm counting down the days until the end of my lease.

This apartment complex is 100% top notch, all the way from the courteous staff who will help out in any way possible to on site accommodations i.e. the laundry facility, and weight room. I would highly recommend living year

Hi, we are so happy to read such a great review about Diamond Ridge!
One of the best values in all of North Richland Hills!
So far so good! Quiet! Friendly staff!! Attentive maintenance crew! Great grounds keeper.
Excellent community!
Love living here. Good insulation, nice yards, good parking, quiet neighbors, many pet stations, and the pool is great.
I would recommend anybody that wanna live in a good quiet environment to come live here.
Quiet peaceful complex
I love living here, I could not have asked for a better place.
Living here is a great experience the whole family including our dog!
Quiet Apartment Community nestled in a thriving city.
Great community
I have lived at Diamond Ridge for several years. Ive been here through other changes in management and can say that the current management is very much on top of things. Love living here.
The property is nice and the staff is great
I don't recommend this property if you're looking for an apartment for the long-term. It looks good from the street, but the exterior of the buildings and the pavement look worn out and not well maintained. The washer/dryer closets inside the apartments are too small if you have full-size appliances. And if you have a neighbor who smokes, you'll smell their smoke in your apartment. Having said all of that, this place would probably be fine for someone who's just getting settled in the area, just starting out on their own with renting, or renting an apartment for a short time while saving up for a house or condo. But if you have want to settle in for more than a year, look elsewhere. I wish I had.
we lived here from 2016 till middle of 2017 before we moved to our own house. This apartment is the one of the best apartment I have ever lived since I and my family relocated from Europe to states. We have been treated so good, whenever we need their help in the apartment. Finally, Sheila and Yolanda played a vital role in helping us to make our stayed pleasant without any single problem. I will continue to recommend this apartment. thanks a lot and God bless!
Me and my fiancé are making the move back to these apartments after he lived here a couple years back. Anywayyyy everyone knows how hard it is to set things up when you are 100s of miles away???? Mrs.Shelia Horn is the most helpful person I've ever dealt with. I am horrible at paperwork and I have called her MULTIPLE times for her to help me fix what I have messed up???? They updated the apartments and they only went up for a couple hundred!!! This has been by far they best apartment experience I've ever had and I'm not even a resident yet! I am so excited to move in to the Diamond ridge!!!!!
We moved in today and I was IMMEDIATELY disappointed in the looks of the kitchen!!! Warped cabinets due to possibly water damage ( maintenance was in apartment replacing weather stripping around front door when I questioned about it), he said he'd replace the front cabinets...we'll see. I was also NOT happy that the refrigerator is excessively small. My husband feel as though we were treated unfairly because for the price we had to pay ( QUITE expensive), we felt like we were HAD!!!
The staff is very nice and helpful. Quiet and friendly community, grounds well kept, very nice pool area. Prices are reasonable and apartments are spacious. We are very happy here.
Diamond Ridge apartments are awesome! It's quiet, residents are very friendly, reasonable prices and spacious. The people in the office are super nice and helpful. Maintenance gets things fixed promptly. The complex is very well kept. We are very happy here.
I lived here with a roommate. I am young and can say I'm quite picky. My roommate and I looked for apartments for 6 months prior to signing our lease here at diamond ridge. The staff is more than kind and the rent is more than reasonable. The apartments are MASSIVE In comparison by price to all other complexes in this area. Maintenance was always kind and timely with repairs. Yes we had some minor repairs needed though our stay but that is expected in an established apartment home. I had no problems with bugs or rodents. They am take great care of their lawns and green scraping and it's extremely dog friendly with mush room to play, benches and an eye catching gazebo which I was lucky to have right outside my front door. Not to mention a beautiful pool and updated 24hr gym. 5 stars! Thank you Milestone and Diamond Ridge!
