Do not waste your money on this property. The management/leasing office will show you a property that is not the property you will be renting. There is nowhere to park and god forbid you park on the line your car will be towed. Save your money and go somewhere else

Hello, Sorry to hear of your frustration, but your car took up two spaces for two days. Your parking prevented someone from parking in their own assigned space for this period of time. Because the car had been there for two days, we had no idea as to how many more days it would remain there. That is why you were towed. We are also confident that if someone was parked in your parking space for two days that you would be in the office complaining about it as well and wanting that car towed. As to your comments regarding our property, we reviewed your account and we don't have a single complaint from you until now. If you truly are upset with our property, we invite you to discuss these issues with management so we may resolve them as we would for any of our tenants. Respectfully, Diamond Sands Management
We relocated here from across the country about 5 months ago and are very glad we did. We were attracted by the value (Direct TV, high speed internet, trash, water all included in rent), recently renovated apartments (with pergo-like hardwood floors in all but the bedrooms, gives less of a standard issue "tan carpet throughout" apartment feel), well kept property (lots of trees and green grass), incredibly convenient and yet quiet location, and staff responsiveness to our cross country moving needs. Having read some of the negative reviews on here, I would like to clearly state to all that may be interested in this place, it is a very good choice to make. Maybe they are tough if you are late on your rent, I have no experience with that, but it is a business after all. We live on the ground floor and have had issues with a squeaky floor above us. Maintenance immediately responded and worked hard to fix it. The only real issue that we've seen here would be parking. You are going to have 1 assigned parking spot, and, unless you live near the rear of the property (we do) where there is overflow parking it will be an issue when you have guests. How big an issue is really up to you. There is nothing anyone can do about it except to enforce the parking rules to guarantee your spot. Your guests may well have to walk a bit to your place. Or, better yet, you may let them park in your spot while you take a short walk. When you rent an apartment or do anything else for that matter, try and consider all aspects before, not after committing. If parking is a major concern, then take a look at the unit you are considering and the parking arrangements before signing. So, if you are considering Diamond Sands take a look at the : POSITIVES: "location, location, location", value (Direct TV, high speed internet, water, trash incl.), curb appeal, quietness, responsive management and maintenance staff, excellent pool, club-room, and fitness center NEGATIVES: parking, 22 year old apartments may need some tlc from time to time For us, the positives far, far exceed the negatives. I hope this helps you when considering your next apartment.
Certainly a DIAMOND in my book! Over 8yrs I've been in several apts in the complex, all but 1 was an A , & the one that wasn't, they did their best to make it one. With a BEAUTIFUL new pool, bbq areas, exercise facility & tanning bed(all under 18mo old), they continue to MODERNIZE the property to RESORT STYLE standards! I've found that the residents & neighborhood are generally quiet, the location is AMAZING! INCREDIBLY EASY access to all freeways(3min), STRIP(10min), Malls(5 &10min, food & AIRPORT(5-10min)! The ONLY drawbacks that I've found is guest parking, but that's a layout problem, not a "we won't fix it" problem & inability to lock in rental rates for long term residents(I was spoiled with that before in NY & VT). BUT I have and will continue to RECOMMEND this complex as a GREAT starter or long term option in the HEART of Las Vegas
My husband and I have owned homes, lived in condo communities and rented apartments in our 25 years together. The economy dealt us a blow in 2012, and we found ourselves living "temporarily" at the Budget Suites of America, across the street from Diamond Sands Luxury Apts. That's actually how we found DSA...we saw it across the street! When we moved here in Jan 2013, the first thing we noticed was that it was more like a condo community than an apartment complex. The management staff, Gloria, Denise, Steve and Kat are all genuine and care about their residents and do a great number of things to ensure that the people that live here feel appreciated and welcome. The maintenance staff is top notch and this is our first time living on the south side of Las Vegas and we love it! The location is close to everything! :-) If you are considering DSA as your new home, go for it, you won't regret it. And "Alex" the owner...they don't come any finer!
We're just ending our lease here as we're moving into a house. For the 2.5 years we've been here it has been a very pleasant experience - our large 2-bedroom apartment was very comfortable with nice size rooms. The maintenance was truly outstanding - very courteous workers and very prompt in making whatever repairs necessary. Office staff extremely professional, thorough and friendly at all times. Highly recommended for apartment living.
Good neighborhood-I like how close they are to shopping and walking distance to many things. The office staff is very nice to work with, I would recommend this apratment community.
