Oswego is a bustling village just south of Aurora on the banks of the Fox River. Perched on the southwestern edge of the Greater Chicago region, residents of Oswego enjoy a healthy balance of easy access to the big city and the low-key lifestyle of the suburbs. With its peaceful neighborhoods, superb schools, and plenty of single-family homes in the local rental market, Oswego is a popular choice among many renters.
The village’s landscape is split between a thriving retail and residential scene. A cluster of shopping centers are placed along Walter Payton Memorial Highway while residential avenues fill the remaining area. The adjacent cities of Aurora and Naperville offer more options for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Property Ratings at Diamond Senior Apartments of Oswego
Units are very cute, however the IBC code 2009 did not give soundproofing side to side neighbors or above or below. Sound travels 100% of the time. Neighbor sneezes you can say "God Bless you", you can hear people get off their recliners, like bombs dropping, you can hear everything and every conversation through the walls. Truly NOT active 55 community. More like assisted living, many caregivers come and go. Management at this site very poor communicators. Corporate offices never respond directly when crisis occurs. Best manager left recently, tried to appease many complaints. Common area hallways never shampooed in 3 years or nor vacuumed weekly on all floors. Recycling on all floors was stopped because mindless residents didn't understand how to use it. Accepts variety of low income residents with issues and have had numerous units infested with bedbugs!!!! Nice Laundry rooms and good storage. Mail and packages have been stolen by residents. Beware many coyotes and big cat sited in the lovely wooded Oswegoland park property behind the building, management does not warn residents, park has no warning signs posted. Area should be fenced in to protect areas residents with pets. If corporation offered a survey from current tenants, they would do well to address issues, diligently. Peyton place.
