Across the Potomac River from Washington, DC, rests the Nauck neighborhood. The blue and yellow metro lines run along the river and wrap around the south end of the cemetery, while the orange and silver lines enter Arlington from DC just to the north of the cemetery. Commercial communities are built up around these metro stops to the north and south, while the area in between is largely residential.
From Interstate 395 up north to Wilson Boulevard the residential communities of Penrose and Lyon Park provide nice suburbs for those looking to be a bit removed from the hustle and bustle while maintaining access to amenities, albeit by car. Nauck also encompasses the Pentagon and houses many of its employees.

Property Ratings at Dolley Madison Towers
Single mother with 2 children, feel very safe and secure just with my children by our self. Arlington, VA has open schooling so you can bus your child to other schools in the district. We loved ATS school. Security is the best, love all the staff members, very friendly. Maintenance is the best , no hidden fees, great location. Weed is legal so wish people would stop with the smell of weed, who cares. If you pay your rent on time and follow the rules, and be respectful and kind to the front staff they will help you with anything and everything like they do for me and my kids. Albendia Sherrod
Pros -Convenient location right off 395. -24/7 front desk. -Overnight security. -Pool, gym, playground, business center, community room, game room. -reasonable price for Arlington. -Very clean, at least the ground level. -Very responsive maintenance team if you have an issue inside the apartment. Cons -False fire alarm in the middle of the night which happens often. -Weed smell especially at night that you could actually smell while inside your apartment. -Poor customer service especially management and corporate, not qualified at all. -Long walk to the garage. -Hard to find a parking space in the outside lot for your second vehicle if you come back at night. -Very tight parking spaces if you have a big vehicle which leads to many dings on your vehicle’s doors. -Loud noise if you’re on the highway side. -Very low water pressure for the sink and shower. -Expensive parking.
We have been inundated with weed smoking neighbors and management does nothing to resolve this lease violation. Even the security won’t do anything. Every night I come home to a choking smell.
This apartment is great. It has everything that we were looking for washer and dryer in unit, a functional kitchen, and 3 bed rooms. the highway is a little noisy but i have gotten used to that. the staff is amazing I really like interacting with them. they feel as if they are part of the family. How ever despite how everything in the apartment works well for us if I could go back to when we moved here (knowing what i know now) i wouldn't rent this apartment. The fire Alarm has gone off 8 times since i have moved in and i have only lived here for about 6 months. I am not over exaggerating either and no its not just the little fire alarm in my own apartment. it is the fire alarm for the entire building so we have to evacuate. Now if you don't have small children it may be annoying be livable. how ever we have small children who we have had to get out of bed at 11 at night to take them outside. I am seriously looking into moving even though i have been here only a short time. also people are careless and dump stuff off there balcony and my vehicle was covered in wine or something as well. so be warned the Fire alarm goes off all of the time and it is not a pleasant experience with children. so glad i don't live on the 12 floor!!!!!
Great prices! Great amenities! The deal to rent in Arlington for $1,500 per month is almost unreal.
It's clean and quite. However, you have to pay 5$ for guess parking if u have friend come over.
I had one and half month off and usually they offer 2 months free rent. Given a fact that it is in Arlington near major highways, it is the best offer you can get. Staff is super friendly and 24 hour front desk with security make it safe for you and your packages. I've had no problems and I am looking forward to extend my lease. Here are few benefits, underground garage, gym, game room, POOL, grocery store, dry cleaning and business center. Must recommend!
I honestly couldn't think of a single reason to give this building less than 5 stars. The building and grounds are always clean and smelling good. The leasing office (especially Samereen) is incredibly helpful and really friendly. The amenities are pretty amazing and not usually crowded. I use the pool and the gym about 4 times a week and have never had an issue with getting a machine or a chair. The concierge staff are the best, always say good morning and good evening and really make it feel like home. The units are all updated and modern feeling and the views are my favorite part. The only negatives I can think of are the guest parking is $5 a night, that can add up pretty fast. There can also be some noise from the floor above you but that's what you would expect from living in a high rise. I can't hear anything from the neighbors in the sides of me. Overall I really love this apartment.
Very lovely building and amenities. Floorplans in apartments were lovely
