Property Ratings at Downtowner Apartments
This place is a living nightmare! Noise levels you would t believe from tenets inside and outside at all times of day and night. Haven’t had a working microwave in over a year and no hot water either. They have changed managers at least six times in two years. Requests and complaints get done maybe if you’re lucky. Just don’t live here if you can help it !
Everything is amazing i love it i just moved in recently and all these comments are lies i love the downtowner apartments

Hello, Thank you for this feedback. While this is not the review we hope to see, it does allow us to become aware of issues on the site. We recently implemented a trash service to assist with the increase in trash room use and have scheduled repairs on the fitness equipment and laundry machines. Unfortunately, the delivery of parts has been what has been holding us up. We did send out a communication with updates, so I apologize if you did not receive that email. I am very responsive to residents so if you are having trouble reaching me, please make sure you are emailing jenni.feder@dominiuminc.com. I will also be on site Tuesday and Thursday this week if you would like to arrange a time to meet in person. Thank you again for taking the time to submit this feedback, I hope you will soon see our dedication to improving your experience at the Downtowner. Sincerely, Jenni Feder Dominium Regional Manager
This place is ok but definitely could be better. PROS: - Location - Reasonably priced - Night life - Food options - Fairly decent apartments - Separate heating/cooling unit it each room CONS: - Livable apartments but there is probably bugs And MOLD that had been covered up by PAINT! ( Don’t believe me check the roof it’s covered in it!) Also check restrooms - The property manager is never really there to tell her anything so when it’s time to move out she will hit you with “Why didn’t you say anything?? and you will have be responsible for anything that is wrong. -Maintenance is pretty good but will definitely take there time to get to a problem. - At the time the elevators continuous broke down ( they were in the process of fixing them towards the time I was moving.) They we’re also almost always trashed. - There no smoking in the actual building but they really was not enforcing the that rule. - Parking seem to be a free for all even though you pay $90 a month for you not only to be assigned to someone else and then when moved you spot was also given you someone else. - Air conditioning unit didn’t work for about 4-6 months late fall/early spring time - Laundry room : They are consistently broken and never enough space. - Kitchen sink leaked

I would not recommend this place to no one. Dirty, elevators always broken, mold growing in apartments and nothing’s done about it, nothing ever gets fixed, the laundry room is trash the machines always broke. This place is a joke and I’m over it. I’ve been a renter for over 20 years and this is the absolute WORST PLACE EVER. Fyi do your homework first everything that looks good usually not. Oh an the homeless population always around begging.
I think the downtowner is a great place to live. I moved in around late 2016 and stayed for two years left and came back! 10/10 recommendation.
I do not recommend this apartments to anyone. The building its self needs work. Apartment floors maybe uneven. The elevators are always nasty and slow. Even with the amount of security that the building has there was still break-ins. If making a choice to move downtown please do not choose Downtowner Apartments.

I love how spacious it is! The windows show an amazing view of the city. The management is nice and don't bother you much. Ask for a closed closet apartment with the new wood floors.
I've lived at the Downtowner Apartments for 4 months now and it's had it's ups and downs. The management has done a lot to try and make the building stand out from other buildings around and they are doing renovations all the time to improve the living conditions. The staff is friendly to both me and my dog, which is a plus since he's like a son to me. The workout room here gets the job done. It has free weights and a cable machince so I can get in a good workout when needed. The out door patio area is a nice area where everyone goes from time to time to relax and get to know one another. The location is hard to beat since it's right in the middle of downtown and puts you right in the action.
