Property Ratings at Drift Dunwoody
My move in was quick and easy. Zha always kept me in the loop about things as well. I did not give it a total 5 because the apartment was not fully finished but I must say my work orders were taken care of almost immediately and the communication with the maintenance was awesome. The place feels safe and it is not noisy so lets see what this year brings!!!!
Yesterday I called mainly about some water I saw in front of my door. When maintenance arrived he decided that a plumber is needed. The plumber came while he was working he was watching a movie. He busted the pipe. He told us to get out. So i ran to the office to let the property manager know what was going on. The plumber left without anyone noticing for 30 mins. No one was able to find the shut off valve. After 1 hour of flooding they decided to call the fire department to turn the water off. I asked the property manager where my family is going to go seeing that they caused the issue. She told me to call my insurance company. How horrible can you be to displaced me because of the choices they made and I was told I had to file a claim. Do not rent at this property. They don’t care about the residents only the money they get from us. Rent at your own risk!!!!

Hi Tanya, We are sorry to hear that your experience with Drift Dunwoody was not up to your expectations. Your feedback is important to us, and we would like to address the issues you encountered. Please contact us at driftdunwoodyPM@stylresidential.com. Thank you, Drift Dunwoody
Im not sure who is worst the management or the neighbors. Lets start with the neighbors who leave trash in the hallway, who stomp over your head, whose kids run all through the hallways screaming, who cant park in a straight line so your car is bound to get hit. Think the pool area is great view? Yea sure .. these neighbors turn it to a night at the strip club with loud music drinking, and partying in it till 3 am even though it closes at 10? Yea 10:00pm as if people who work early don’t need rest and peace. The trash is terrible and smells the whole parking deck. It overflows & it’s barely picked up. Rats are definitely at the bottom floor on your patio. They force you into paying for lockers for packages that can’t even accommodate the amount of residents here so your package goes thrown on the floor by amazon workers to be stolen, yea they are not dropping them off at the door. One time Usps said to me when i caught them dropping my package off on the floor “i am not walking or carrying anything around these long halls and floors”. The gate is broke and has been since i moved in. You have to walk all the way to the front to let someone in because the system is broke and has been that long or longer. Non resident Parking in the garage supposedly gets booted yet guest are here all day & night with no permit taking all the spots! The management suck you in and forget you the very day your moving truck arrives. Oh and it’s only one way to move in & that’s through the front door of the first floor so have movers ready and fit unless you wanna walk down halls around the corner to get to the elevator and then down your hall and around the corner to get to your door just to move in. I keep my house super clean yet gnats keep getting into my home & refrigerator. I spray for water bugs as i have seen 2 so far one which was on my 1st day in. They throw paint over the previous residents mess and you can see right through it. This place needs a serious upgrade! Oh i forgot a woman was banging on my window at 10 pm & ask if she can enter my apartment through the patio because she was stuck in the gate of the pool which clearly is closed! The management does not address any concerns , they tell you to call the police. They NEVER EVER answer the office phone. I have been here not even 3 months & I will be breaking my lease & moving out !
I lived here for 1 year during covid-19.they requested when i first applied to delay my move in date for 3 weeks so that they can renovate my apartment and it will be move in ready which i did accept. when i moved in though my apartment was not move in ready as we went through the walkthrough. These were the following things that were not working by the time i moved in: Microwave(waited 2 months for a new one), Shower pressure in master bed( waited 1 month for fix), Cracked window in 2nd bdrm( never was fixed), light fixture bulbs were out( waited 2 months to get a new replacement). After those initial problems were finally solved then more issues came and the same problem with having maintenance come address it and fix it was still an issue. I had several leaks from kitchen applicances(dishwasher and garbage disposal) and they consistently blamed me for the issue and it took them 2+ months for that issue to be fix. i took pictures of the leak and every time there was a new excuse that why they were leaking. it wasnt til i ran into someone in the mangement office to walk down and see the leak that they came and finally fixed it. I had also a leak in the master shower which they blamed the contractors for. took them around 1 to 2 weeks to address that. when they did fix it they did not clean the water damage that was shown due to the shower leak. i would continue on leaks that continued to arise in my apartment but this could go on forever. the best thing i can say is that the location is perfect but you are paying for an apartment that may or may not help you. Im leaving moving out soon and there are still holes in my ceiling from leaks that happen from surrounding neighbors that have been there for 30+ days. if you reach out to the office they will tell you that they will contact later but no one will come. it is a shame because the location is perfect but dont take a risk moving here. the gamble you take can ruin your experience in dunwoody. Pros: - location - gated community with alot of break ins( you will receive emails about that at least) Cons: - poor maintenance - appliances break alot - gates sometimes work - valet is not consistent Overall: Once you sign the lease they dont care anymore. most apartments are like that but this one is the worse for me personally. i have lived in foggleman owned properties before with better experience and services. If you willing to spend the money just find another apartment near by.
I currently live at Two Blocks and unfortunately what started as a good experience has went down hill since I moved in. The apartment walls are paper thin. You will hear every time your neighbors walk and talk. You can call the office or security officer, but nothing will be done. There are always trashcans in the hallway (valet trash, but rules are not enforced). Gym is not 24 hour access. Parking gates brake about once every couple of months, but they do enforce parking rules (will boot vehicles). Great location, but would not recommend.
Management deflects all concerns and says it's not their problems. Will always turn you to someone else instead of trying to fix issues. Read some of the other reviews where management replies on various review sites; they never own up to problems. When valet trash doesn't come (Friday and Saturday nights), trash piles up by garbage chute. Apparently residents are too lazy to open the chute and are ok living in filth. Smells like weed in deck, hallways, even individual units nearly every day, ranging from 6 am to late into the night. Location is good though - if it wasn't for accessibility to groceries, 285, and perimeter area, I would be long gone.
Property Manager at Drift Dunwoody, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review. All concerns and issues at Two Blocks are our problem. We are working with the valet company to explore other options for Fridays and Saturday nights because we do realize that some residents will just sit their bags in front of chute, rather than opening it. We do have an onsite courtesy officer available after hours. It is imperative to contact when an problem (i.e. weed smell) is occurring so that she can handle immediately. Please reach out to me at manager@twoblocksapts.com to discuss additional options or remedies.
I really thought Two Blocks was getting better but I was wrong. This is my 7th and last year here. I really like CiCi. I recently renewed my lease and as usual went and dropped off my proof of insurance. I gave it in person. Best believe that I got charged for insurance regardless. I called very upset to ask them to remove it and best believe that the same person to whom I gave my proof of insurance tells me that she can't remember. I mean seriously!! She is so INCOMPETENT!!!!!! She was So Rude!!! , she should not be caring of customers. I asked her to cc me regarding my case, Never did, Never called back to follow up. Also, they told me that they will give me a call for the complimentary carpet cleaning been almost 3 weeks never got a call. My point is small thing like follow up with your residents is very important, it shows that you care about your residents. I am Honestly in a great position to tell you about Two Blocks since I have been living here for 7 years. I will be moving out soon
I have visited multiple apartment homes and it's not very often that you experience excellent customer service, an attentive management team and a well-kept apartment community. I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience.
Property Manager at Drift Dunwoody, Responded To This Review
Wow! Thanks so much for the 5-star review! We strive to provide excellent customer service and count on feedback to let us know when we get it right!
Moved here in 2015, every year there is new management and it just keeps getting worse. I am happy to say that I’ve had enough and when the expensive lease ends soon I am moving out. The price continues to go up for no upkeep, trash everywhere, gates are CONSTANTLY broken. So your paying big bucks for no security whatsoever. Management is rude to say the least. Have to pay to receive packages, most of the parking garage people pay for a spot. So come move here if you want added fees everywhere you turn, come here if you want no security and way overpriced apartments. One positive? The location. Right by the highway, gas stations, Kroger & lots of good places to eat.
The new manager Cece is very rude and unprofessional. She has made comments to me that were very sacrcastic and unfriendly. I think this property would be nice if they hired new staff. The management seems like they do not care about the residents concerns or keeping the property up. The printers in the business office never have paper or work. The gates are always broken and anyone can come in to the parking area. The grounds are never clean with dog poop and trash all over the place. I would not recommend this property to anyone due to poor management.
After living here for 2 years I am happy to leave. Management now nickel and dimes everything. You must rent boxes to reive packages. Your water is grouped so expect a close to $90 utility bill. The valet trash is mandatory. You get charged for the bills to be prepared. They did not upgrade the apartment till I moved out but continued to raise rates. Halls are dirty and parking is always an issue. The booting company doesn't go past the 3rd floor. The management is now rude and really doesn't care about the property. The trash is always full so you see it spilling into the parking garage. Gate is constantly broken as well. Just stay away.
Property Manager at Drift Dunwoody, Responded To This Review
I wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience with us. Unfortunately, $90 utility bills (which include valet trash, water/sewer, and pest control) are not uncommon in apartments. Overall, I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations and sincerely hope that your next place is all that you want it to be. We have a culture of constant improvement and feedback like yours helps us shape the way we do things. Again, thank you for taking time to leave comment.
Management here makes living here a nightmare. They don't complete work orders on time, packages are always lost, staff is rude, property is disgusting, and did I mention..the staff is RUDE! Do not live here- the prices may be enticing but you'll have a year long headache.

vbszeze- Do you mind giving me a moment of your time so that we can discuss any past issues? I can be reached at manager@twoblocksapts.com, or in the office.
The people in the office are the worst. They don't have good customer service skills and aren't open and happy to answer any questions (if they answer the phone). They're usually annoyed during any type of interaction. The apartment itself is fine and roomy but the experience when dealing with anyone that works here or on site is less than pleasant.
Property Manager at Drift Dunwoody, Responded To This Review
It seems we have failed to serve you the way you deserve. That is unacceptable. I'm not sure when this happened, but I would like to speak with you to make sure it does not happen again. At your leisure, please contact me at manager@twoblocksapts.com so we can chat about your experience. Thanks again for your honest feedback, Cece Blake
I have been living here with my family for 1.5 year. It's a nice place, and we like it. It's a great location with easy access to I-285, nice area and helpfull staff. Our school's, Dunwoody Elementary School, bus stop is very close to the apartment complex. The only problem is too much garbage near the trash chute on weekends.
PROS - easy access to I285 , groceries, perimeter mall , marta closeby - nice gym, and pool - same floor parking - spacious apartment - quiet and peaceful location - relatively newer than other apartments nearby Cons - couldnot show me the sample flat with the layout I wanted as all were occupied so was flying blind and wish kitchen was bit bigger
I have had an enjoyable experience in the 3 years I have lived at 2 blocks. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and it very spacious. The master bedroom and closet are huge! You definitely will have enough space if you have a lot of clothes. The guest bedroom is a nice size as well. I have a queen bed, chest and a small bookshelf in my room and it's enough space. I love the fact that there are elevators and it's covered parking. These apartments are close to perimeter mall which I think is the best mall to go to. Traffic can get a little backed up on 285 east in the evenings but other than that it's close to 400 and 85 so whichever way you decide to go it's not too far. It's about 15 mins from Buckhead and 20-25 mins from downtown. The only negatives would be is that some times the trash piles up outside of the trash compactors on the weekends and people just sit their trash on the ground in the garage. There were maybe 2 break ins since I have lived here but we were notified immediately in an email and there are courtesy officers who walk around. You can pay your rent online but it has to be in full so if you have a roommate you have to pay all at once with one card or you both pay at the office with separate checks. There is no rent drop box. I can say the rent has increased every year we have lived here but it is a great place overall. The only reason I am moving is because I am getting a one bedroom apt and it's too expensive here. I would recommend a friend to stay here if they can afford it.
I've been living at Two Blocks for a little over a year now. The apartment complex is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The apartment complex is very good at notifying residents of any issues going on in the community, weather advisories etc. When I moved in my apartment was clean and there were no major issues. The maintenance staff is quiet to respond to requests. The common areas are well maintained. I am able to take advantage of the many amenities the apartment complex offers such as the pool area, the outside grill area, the gym, lounge area and movie room. The apartment complex is very close to the Perimeter and has a shopping center within walking distance. Would highly recommend this apartment complex to others.
Two Blocks Apartments has ALOT going for it. Great staff that care about you, competitive pricing, covered parking, and its on the better exit. Two exits off of 285 are side by side and one exit (the exit Two Blocks is NOT on) has everything could possibly think to spend money on: a huge mall, restaurants at every price tier, bars, coffee and ice cream shops, a theater... the exit is huge. Less than a mile away sits Two Blocks' exit: Kroger and Starbucks across the street (with an awesome burger joint), fast food just down the road, a short drive into the city of Dunwoody, and 10x less busy than the other exit. This keeps all the greatness of a mall and such just far enough away to keep the traffic off, but close enough to make it easily accessible. The actual rooms are kept nice! Pleasant atmosphere and (at least from personal experience) considerate neighbors. The reason I did not give it 5 stars has NOTHING to do with the apartment but rather with the accessibility to fitness. The provided gym is very small and there are no running trails leaving the complex. If you want a good workout, you'll have to join a gym (there is one next to the aforementioned Kroger). Other than that, I have been VERY happy with my stay at Two Blocks.

Thank you so much for your positive comments regarding Two Blocks! We agree . . . the team is fantastic as well as the amenities and location! Thanks again for your feedback!
