Property Ratings at Driftwood Apartments
The only positive thing about this place is they are pet friendly. After only a few months my experience is seeing homeless people wonder around at night the dumpster area looks absolute terrible despite the apartments having someone clean it in the morning it becomes a disaster in the day from homeless people. I can only speak to the renovated apartments seeing how mine is renovated it is comfortable and decent inside however way too much criminal activity. Despite telling the office of your concerns they will not follow up or actually do anything. The parking is an absolute nightmare. They claim you need a permit to park however I have not seen 1 car towed, there are several that park anywhere even in your stall at times. You have no visitors parking keep in mind and this is located on a main road. so, parking elsewhere will require you to walk down a whole block probable across the main street. If they actually put a gate in the front entrance this would be a 4- or 5-star place and much quieter. However, these apartments do not invest in itself. You will notice some doors throughout the complex look like a different color different door. Some apartments look beat up and some look renovated nicely. No cameras and yet in the contract they want to keep you front having any ring cameras. If you want to actually feel secure and go out for a walk and not see homeless peoples trash everywhere, if you want to have confidence your vehicle will be secure don't move here. Catalytic converters, in some cases just plain vandalizing cars without taking anything. I should mention one bright spot is the response to Maintenace. The Maintenace guy was extremely nice and quick.
I lived in these apartments for one yeah and they are the worst apartments I have ever lived in. you have homeless people walking around at night time. Your cars are not safe in the parking lot. There’s never parking if you have two cars you have to park down the street by the houses and management is not good. my dishwasher was broken when I first got in there and all they told me to do was run it with baking soda and they never came to fix it again. I see people leave out of the apartment and they don’t clean the apartment and they are up for rent. These apartment should not be that much per month if the quality is not that good I am so glad I moved out of there because these apartments are the worst. There is no ventilation in these apartments.
Staffing is great!!! ...... But Apt. is crap bed rooms get way to hot even at night as for the air conditioning is a wall unit and don't cool rest of the home only the living room so you can sleep in the living room on those hot nights they plan on putting window air units it the bedroom but now your utility bill is going to shoot up due to you will have 3 air units running at night, and the new so called updated apt the non carpeted with the floor will turn socks and feet black even when you clean all the time. They also painted over everything quickly so when you shut doors they stick due to the paint to the door frame is painted and the cabinets they too are just painted over so it peals off easy then they change you $ out of the deposit when you leave. Then when you leave kiss your deposit bye they charge for everything even when you clean it might as well be trashed at least you dont have to spend your day cleaning it due think you will get your deposit back to they will charge you 75$ fee even if you clean it fully and they charge a over rated price to paint walls no matter if there's nothing wrong with them a little touch up cost 40$ hr and take 3 gals to touch up a size of a dime joke. And the pre paid washer and drys 50% time were broke or did not wash you only find out after you spend the money and there no way to get you money back they just say they going to send someone to fix it then its never fixed.Now... on the upside of thing at least you can get out of your lease when you need too, it also has a pool for those hot days and a gym that is a community gym and you get

If you are looking for a peaceful "woodsy" home feeling, driftwoods apartment is the place for you. The neighbors keep to themselves but also interact when you do. The apartment has its pros as well as cons. I believe this apartment can turn into a senior homes if they wanted to, that's how quiet it is. Every apartment has their own parking, however there are open areas for renters to park, (first come, first serve) if you have two cars. All in all, you can drift away easily into a sleep because the noise is never a problem, you can Driftwood was a good name for them.
