Stretching from Interstate 5 to Highway 167 in the northwest portion of Kent, the Riverfront area places residents in a laid-back, yet engaging environment along the Green River. There’s a blend of retail space, modern apartment communities, and vibrant green spaces scattered around the area. The Green River Trail is one of the more popular attractions in Riverfront. Miles of walking and biking trails connect to Lake Fenwick Park and provide fantastic views. Riverfront Park features the Riverbend Golf Complex, while Hogan Park at Russell Road contains several ball fields, tennis courts, and a playground.
A few restaurants, shops, and coffee shops dot Meeker Street, and the highway makes accessing the establishments in Downtown Kent easy. Downtown Seattle and Bellevue are about 18 miles north.

Property Ratings at Driftwood
We lived here for 2 years where over a year of that is during COVID. Our time in the beginning was great. The whole complex was beautiful. Landscaping was well kept. Maintenance was always there to fix things. If you live in Phase 2 with an upper-level room, ventilation is very poor. The bathroom vent is on 24/7 since it's the only vent you have (excluding the laundry closet vent). You'll eventually get used to it but just know that beforehand. Another issue that comes from this is mildew buildup especially during fall and winter. Things started falling apart too. The sliding balcony door became a carry-and-slide door because the rails were no longer aligned. The front door became swollen from water damage. Staff is so-so. I've had great experience with a staff named Heather and she took care of us until she left sometime after the end of our 1st year. Managers rotate all the time. We've had 3 during our time there. Assistant Manager is difficult to work with. My first occasion with this person was when I went to the office to let them know that they haven't credited us our renewal lease bonus of $150. The addendum in our leasing agreement said it'll be given after the 1st month so sure enough, I come asking after the 1st month. She was rude and didn't even bother looking up from her computer. She repeated all the things that I've already said to another staff and I replied "Well, that's why I'm here. It hasn't come yet". She typed a few things in her computer and said "Done. There ya go. Have a good day." Neither an apology nor simple manners of looking at the person in the eye when talking...plain rude. Second occasion with this same person was trying to get in touch with her after we left the apartment to ask about our last payment balance. Good luck with that. I called them 8,9,10 times in the last 2 weeks and emailed the assistant manager directly as to when's a good time to chat and nothing...I want to note that calling the office was never an issue as a resident where they answered almost all my calls during business hours even during the quarantine. Sure enough, no one answers after you leave. To sum this all up, good landscaping, good maintenance crew, and terrible management.
In the rain season, your car and you will be drown because the parking lot become the small lake. Moreover, there are many hidden fees so make sure you ask everything before sign paper.
Most people expect a lower rent than what's on offer
I think your Driftwood Apartments are looking great, all the flowers shrubs and other greenery are bueatiful. The soccer field is a good game to watch on weekends, the players bring a great game. It's serious & fast. There are a variety of birds and other life forms that are fun to watch
Its well located. The staff are excellent. Overall it has the potential to be a great community
The apt. I looked at (Studio) had little storage and this is why I looked and found another place.
Unfortunately, my partner lost his job and my income was not enough to cover the rent. My overall exeperience with Driftwood was very positive. Except for one incident everyone in the staff was extremely nice and attentive.
Greetings, I would recommend the Driftwood Apps, because the Office personal are always friendly and professional, especially, Heather and Carolina. They listen and do what they can to ameliorate the situation. I also like the exercise room, places to gather and the soccer field. The kids and seriously players make good use of it. I have also noticed that the atmosphere around the grounds seem positive, bright and safe. The people who tend to the grounds have done a great job, with grass, shrubs and trees looking very healthy. We are very happy living here.
We still don't know our neighbors, which may play a big role for judging the Driftwood.
I have been living here since 2017 and overall my experience has been wonderful!
My first day in my apartment it's unbelievable its quiet and beautiful neighbors are friendly to welcome us here
I would as long as they do a better job in checking maintenance request 2 times a day so that if ther's a request that comes in latter it can be printed and ready for the next day!!!!!
The apt, community & staff are all wonderful, professional, caring & go above & beyond.
None of the outlets work in my master bedroom, my father had to come and replace 1 just so I could have a lap and phone charger plugged in. Outlets in the bathroom have NEVER worked. (Extremely hard to get ready for work) in the kitchen there is 3 outlets one 1 the bottom one works and the other 2 do not. Screen has been broke sense I moved in on slider door . Bed rooms never had screens. Kitchen has 3 main large draws and 2 don’t open correctly they continue to fall off the tracks. Sliding glass door lock is broke and was told to use the bar in the window. Mold growing in the bathroom (there was a hole cut out and replaced, the wall looks like it caving in and growing mold thru the paint). The sidewalks outside of our apt are flooded EVERYDAY meaning I can not get to my car without getting your shoes completely soaked or you can walk thru the mud that is soft so you just sink and get soaked. The lady’s in the office are rude and when you ask if anything is going to get fixed all they say is we’re working on things! Then why did you move me into this apt if your still working on things ? Ooooooooh yeah my water bill was over 200$ all summer continue to ask if we were paying for the water outside (sprinkles) and they said no got my new water bill from Nov. dropped 120$ and I did nothing different (not showering less, washing dishes less, laundry) I did not change one thing in my life style so that is VERY WERID! DO NOT MOVE HERE PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE
No doubt that this apartment community was better than before we moved here. But if I would recommend this to my family or friends they will probably be shock about the price, I just think it?s a little high.
Heather was really great and has been so far since signing up for our apartment. Thank you so much Heather!
I would recommend this apartment community because my maintenance needs are addressed in a timely manner. The Management team is friendly and makes sure the tenants are comfortable.
Community near work. Office and Carolina was perfect for communication purposes to sell apartment homes. Felt like home and ver pleased
Heather is easy to work with. I love the dog areas. Great feature for dog owners and lovers
People who were raider they Really do their job and they are super professional they really talk to you like a friend and I really like it thank you very much
YES
I would recommend this once renovation is complete. Right now it's kind of sad that we cannot use the clubhouses or pools.
I would recommend it because the appliances and interior are really nice. The grounds are being well maintained and the fefuse area is making the crows frustrated, which keeps them from "bombing" my car!
Based on this team, I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone that asked about them.
Everything is nice and comfy here. But the only problem is sugar ants everywhere in apartment.
I would because it very quite and peaceful and you feel safe at all times
Definitely would recommend, It?s a quite apartment community and looking forward when all the renovations is done it?ll be more nicer and great place to live.
I've been here 5 yrs. its a quick walk to Kent Station with Movie theater excellent Restaurants and Boutiques & fast food etc. I enjoy the exercise facilities & the pool area. It is very well maintained & a friendly staff. I like the covered parking & the location to my work & Fred Meyers,Safeway etc. close to 167, its been great for my needs.
