Property Ratings at Duck Flats
There was a bullet hole in our neighbor’s window. We moved into an apartment with a snapped stair rail and cat urine stained carpets. Management is very slow to fix any issues with the place.
Where do I start.. If you want to live in the most poorly managed and run down units this place is perfect for you! Not only has the management changed several times, but they refused to install smoke detectors and fix our dryer for 4 MONTHS and still expected full rent. They even had hardwood floors installed while we lived in the unit and left debris everywhere. When you try to contact the manager he simply reads from a script and doesn’t address your issues or provide you with his supervisors information. Do yourself a huge favor and pick anywhere else!
If we could give this no star, we would. Our apartments were not cleaned or turned at all prior to our move in and we were not advised in advance or we would have found another place. The units were filthy, the carpets are old and tattered with exposed carpet nails, the appliances, lights, and even the smoke detectors don't work. There was still furniture left inside our units from the prior tenants that WE had to move out. There is garbage piled up in the common areas and the landscaping is bare, overgrown and/or dying. There is debris and garbage everywhere in the landscaping. We didn't have access to our garage for days and still haven't been told how to pay rent. The management company doesn't answer the phone or returns calls while our broken appliances, lights, ceiling fans, cabinets, counters, doors, smoke detectors, etc. all STILL remain broken since mid-August. It's inexcusable. We contacted the property manager repeatedly, but he literally said they haven't had the money to make the repairs. Don't walk, RUN from this place, it's not worth the headache.
