Great community to live in and very conveniently located. Has excellent amenities like a pool, internet, barbecue area, delivery room, etc. Highly recommend!
Living here the past 5 years has been a pleasure. Duncan Hill is a community unlike no other. There’s so much green space for the dogs, the BBQ grill is amazing in the summer, and the people are always welcoming/ willing to help!

I like the maintenance guys and the people in the leasing office. I hate the new tiny kid-sized toilets and the big rent increases and the lack of speed bumps in the driveways. Some residents and delivery drivers just fly through the driveways with no concern for pedestrians. Also, the speed of the shared internet has gone down.

My apartment is a really nice apartment is big enough for me and my three kids very quiet staff is very professional. I love the amenities that comes with it but we are very excited to move to a new community.

Great community and staff. Quiet neighborhood and clean area. Only reason why I don’t give it a 5/5 is because some theft has occurred in the parking lot to numerous residents. Thought to be outsiders though.

Overall great place to live. Good sized property with decent amenities. The buildings are older and not in the best shape but management does their best to keep them up kept. Staff is nice and very involved.
Great community. Management and maintenance are always friendly and helpful. Any maintenance requests are completed promptly (unless you specify otherwise and then they complete when you’ve asked).
Just moved in and very happy here. The entire staff is friendly and professional and my move in process was seamless. Everyone helped me get a lot done in a very short period of time, and I am very grateful. Thank you.

overall great. The rent is super high and we wish they would upgrade our apartment (we're one of the few without laundry in unit and electric and ACs are outdated). Besides those sorts of issues we love the area and our apartment and HOPE they don't raise the rent too much in 2024 so we can stay
The staff here are awesome. The community itself is great. I wish there was more of a conversation with residents about what amenities we actually would love instead of just adding random things.

My experience at Duncan Hill has been great. Such a nice community with friendly people and lots of green space for pets! During the summer time, grills are available in both courts.
It's alright. Sturdy buildings and decent location. But you pay $65/mo for amenities that don't work half the time. The pool's a great example. After memorial day weekend, it's only open on weekends until Westfield's schools are out, then it's open all week. They will highlight their pool to you in the tour, but won't tell you about that. There's also been a lifeguard shortage, so the pool's been closed for that, and now the pump is broken. It's July 2nd and I can count on my hands how many days the pool's been open. There's also rental bikes, but they won't mention those are seasonal too. I don't know, 2 grills, corn hole, a bare-minimum outdoor fitness center, and a dog run aren't worth the $65/mo to me. We also had to call maintenance like every few days when we first moved in. Not an awful place, but also not renewing my lease. Not worth it to me.
Rent goes up too high every year and my water gets shut off now more than ever. The ladies at the leasing office and the maintenance guys are all great.
The management team and staff at Duncan Hill Apartments truly go above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently, creating a stress-free living experience. The friendly leasing office staff are always available to address any concerns or questions, making communication seamless and enjoyable.
Even with the pool opening being delayed, my first month here has been great. Everyone is nice and friendly. Maintenance has been quick and efficient when I’ve needed them.

If you’re looking for a family friendly environment, then Duncan Hill is the place for you. Beautiful neighborhood, pleasant neighbors, and spacious apartments. Great amenities, only thing missing is an indoor gym.

These apartments have a nice location and nice floor plan. Lots of natural light. Kitchen appliances could use an update. But otherwise, all good!
The people have been kind and friendly. The apartment is spacious and cozy. The grounds are well kept. It is so close to town for so many shops and restaurants.
Friendly staff and support team at Duncan Hill. Communication sometimes lacking from main office to maintenance team and vice versa but overall I would recommend.
The buildings are a little old and run down but it’s a great community to live in. People are super friendly and the management/maintenance teams are very engaging.

The apartment was well managed until 2017 when a new management team took over. Even if they have flipped burgers in McD before, they would have known what customer service means. The new management team looks like bunch of women who have lost hope in their life. Horrible attitude to tenants. The management is rude, hostile and poor in communication. Every complaint you bring up, they refer to lease agreement and say it is as per lease and hence cannot be taken care of. Never seen property managers referring to lease documents this much. Maintenance work gets done days after a request is raised. Rent keeps increasing atleast by 10% every year, but even snow cleaning doesn't happen properly. Getting a garage and parking space takes months. Even when you get it, it is nowhere near your apartment. Maintenance of apartment and property is very poor. Better apartment community came up in same street near train station. Hope this one close down soon

i rated this an average apartment because the rent is not cheap and so it should come with free water or free parking. the kitchen and bathroom look really good. spacious living room but the wooden floors on the 2nd floor should be renovated because they make noise when walking on them. I really feel bad for my neighbors on the ground floor especially when i have friends come over and they play miusic and dance in the living room.

This property is overpriced for what you get. They are not "renovated" kitchens and bathrooms. The "dog park" is laughable. They are glad to take your money for parking but do not enforce when non-payers park as they wish. They charge a fee for the pool. Coming in and out of the property onto Central Ave can be dangerous at various times during the day. Keep looking and you'll find reasonably priced property. The units are from the 1950s-60s. The power panels are undoubtedly overloaded. Doors stick from years of paint. Surprised the fire inspectors haven't slammed them for the ridiculously, hazardous loose and limited plugs. Management response is always "management is aware of ... " and nothing is done. Oh and expect to lose hot water in the winter when boilers fail. Property is haphazardly shoveled and salted (not pet safe). Good Luck. I'm out.
