Marinette is a small city overlooking Green Bay, sitting right across the Menominee River from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The waterfront location is central to the city’s culture, with boating and fishing among the most popular local pastimes and shipbuilding serving as one of the area’s major industries. More than half of the homes in Marinette were built before 1950, giving the town a timeless aesthetic; this extends to the Downtown area along Hall Avenue and Main Street, where countless vintage storefronts still host restaurants, shops, and other small businesses. Marinette shares many resources with neighboring Menominee, Michigan, with three bridges connecting the two cities.

Property Ratings at Dunlap Square Apartments
I have rented 2 apartments here, and I've had my fair share of problems. When my air conditioning broke, they left a hole in my ceiling for 2 weeks and got plaster all over my floor, countertop, and my posessions. The windows in both apartments I've rented don't stay open, and they are unsecure and will fall in if you try opening them. Moving in, my dishwasher didn't work, the heat wouldn't work, and the toilet was already broken. My neighbors were also incredibly loud, and the property manager didn't help at all after I brought it to their attention. Would never reccomend renting here, nothing but problems.
Property Manager at Dunlap Square Apartments, Responded To This Review
I am sorry we did not meet your expectations. We at Dunlap Square want everyone to have a pleasant experience while making your home with us. We pride ourselves on addressing all work orders within 24 to 48 hours and we try to be as nonintrusive as possible. There are times when we are at the mercy of our contractors' schedules or have to wait for parts, but this should have been explained to you at the time. We check all appliances and fixtures on turnover. Sometimes testing them is not the same as using them everyday, so items may need adjusting after move-in. We are happy to take care of these repairs, when asked. Unfortunately a charming historical building like ours can also cause problems we are not counting on. We want to address noise complaints in a timely manner. As soon as one is brought to our attention, a letter goes out immediately. Sometimes that is enough. If not we take further steps. We are sorry we could not solve your issue as you would have liked. Again, we aim to make everyone's stay with us a good one, so we apologize that we dropped the ball this time.
