Avoid anything related with Olen Living at all costs. Their maintainance is sub sub par, their appliances are cheapest of the cheapest and barely work but the contractors they hire at the end will skin you alive for any minor repair. And repairs they will find when you move out and be prepared to pay almost a months worth rent in due charges once you move out. They'll make sure of it. I'm happy I finally move out of their property and I for one will never ever stay in anything that is even remotely connected with Olen Living! I would advise anybody considering moving in to reconsider.
This place was not ready for us when we moved in. Screens had holes in every one of them. Tiles falling off the wall in the master. Air conditioner didn't work when we moved in. The gym and pool are still closed and they're refusing to open even now that they're allowed because they don't want to pay the cost for the requirements to reopen. Stay away. Cheap material, cheap maintenance and nothing but excuses from managment.
Staffs unprofessional and manager too proud! Moving from MS with a perfect credit score, a super clean background and a high income, they asked me $1750 security deposit instead of $500 on a regular time! Because they know I have no place else to go and no time due to the Coronavirus crisis. When I tried to protest, they didn't give me choice, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT!! I was so upset. I had no choice but take it! I cried all day. It's not about money, it's feeling cheated. ZERO STAR
if your furniture doesn't look exactly like the model, then the whole floor plan is off. The only thing that I truly don't like is the way to fit and entertainment stand and TV. which is no way. my apartment feels cramped once I moved in my tv and couch together.
nice landscaping and good layouts as far as floor plans go. and the management here is very sweet. however there are no sidewalks so if you have to leave on foot, watch for cars, because your going to be walking alongside the road.
Coming from Chicago, our apartment is a step up. Clean walls, fresh carpet and a lot of windows allows for great Vegas light exposure. Even with the basic appliances, a great mix of function and comfort is coupled with fast and reliable maintenance service for the biggest and smallest needs.
When I first got my own place here at Durango Canyon it was surreal, as we all learn by trial and error being a first time renter I didn't ask all the questions versus most people that has experience and know the ins and outs of the market here in Vegas. Especially being new to renting there were so many options, but when I walked into my apartment I was sold! My apartment is an upstairs and the stairs is inside the apartment, not most apartments have that added amenity, as well as an open layout, the kitchen, dining room and living room has no walls in between them blocking one another from talking. The whole process from A all the way to Z was nerve racking but I made it work and as I got to know the office staff more and more each day as I lived there, they made me feel important, they made my first time experience as a renter feel as if I had it in the bag all this time. The manager and some of the lease associates knows my name when I walk through the door and always asks questions about my family that I just started recently. The funny part about this whole experience is my NOW job is as a leasing agent, and I know exactly what they go through on a day to day basis, the best part about both ends is understanding! If a work order is not done right away for my apartment or they haven't attended to a certain problem because they were so busy that day, I completely understand, time to time I can put my foot down and tell how them how I feel if it does drag out too long and they always bounce right back and get it done. I love my staff at Durango Canyon.
Very clean save comfort and close to Las Vegas strip and you have shopping center less than 10 mail and nice pool ground tens and gym
