Situated less than 10 minutes from the heart of Alexandria and 10 miles south of Washington, DC, Eisenhower East/ Carlyle District is an urban neighborhood between Interstate 495 and Highway 236. Although small, this community is full of commercial spaces. Hoffman Town Center, a large shopping mall, makes up the western side of town while hotels, office spaces, and government buildings can be found in the middle of the neighborhood. Restaurants and cafes centered around John Carlyle Square are situated in the eastern corner of the neighborhood. More features of the community include the African American Heritage Park and a few other parks that dot the town. Thanks to its central location and great amenities, there are several choices of apartments and condos ranging from luxury to moderately priced places.

Amazing facilities and amenities. Also love the location easiness of getting to DC. The building is very close to restaurants and entertainment. Very beautiful views from the roof and amenities are in excellent condition. The staff is incredible and accommodating when moving-in and moving-out, as well. In particular, I am truly thankful to Wilmer who went the extra mile to help me with a lost item. In fact, the staff is very professional, kind, and helpful too. The communication was outstanding.

Excellent cleaning and maintenance staff, incapable leasing staff. Depending on who you talk to, you get different answers. Zero effort into community events (poorly run, failure to communicate). Instill no confidence you're getting the right information.

The maintenance and leasing team specifically Akecia, Aquia Ashley, Ashanti, Aysha, Sonom, Jianna are awesome. If they weren't as friendly as they are, I would break my lease. The tenants are horrible, their dogs poop everywhere including in the halls. The tenants have entitlement behavior and report everything. I have received emails about not wearing a shirt in the gym and allowing my son to walk our trained dog. This place will not feel like your home. I'm still a tenant here but I hate it!

Dylan and Reese has been an exceptional place to live and I would recommend it to anyone. The amenities are fantastic: a nice gym, lots of gorgeous outdoor space with a swimming pool, and my personal favorite an on-site dog park! Management has been so friendly and helpful; they’ve recently even added smart lockers for extra package security. I must give a big SHOUTOUT to Jose who has been helping us with quarterly maintained and any maintenance orders have been handled quickly. There are also just little things about it to love, like workout classes, community bonding activities like Yoga Class, Tie-die class, Xmas wrapping sections on site, gorgeous landscaping, a ton of trees on the premises, food options/restaurants beneath the building, and we have Wegmans downstair in the same building and they open till midnight – tons of great local activities near Old Town and National Harbor

I moved into this building in November 2022 and overall the building is nice, but I am not impressed with the building management. The building uses the Latch door system for their locks which are digital and require Bluetooth via a smartphone to unlock. I have become locked out of my apartment twice and have requested a physical key but the building will not give me one. The building does not have concierge staff on 24 hours and the first time my door stopped working, I had to wait an hour in the early hours of the morning to wait for maintenance to come unlock my door. Maintenance then came and assured me they fixed the door but it broke again less than a month later. They had to order a part for the door and it took over a month to get it fixed. Management stated to me that this has never happened before, but I overheard someone in the lobby a couple weeks ago stating they were waiting for emergency maintenance to come as their apartment door was not working, so I know this is not true. I have been assured by building management that they are working on a permanent solution to avoid issues with becoming locked out, but feel they are just trying to placate me as I have heard no updates from them in over a month. I was excited to move into this building and have heard great things about Bozzuto in the past, but sadly have not had a good experience here and would not recommend this building.

I have been holding off on writing this review for a while now but I have become increasingly frustrated with my living experience. I have been here since March and quite frankly, I don't think the building was ready to open when it did. The three main problems are the Latch system (phone app to enter building), the fire alarms, and the package system. The Latch system is ridiculous. To enter the building, the elevators, and apartments/amenities, you must unlock your phone, open the app and swipe. This can be very inconvenient when your hands are full and you only have a few seconds to swipe on the elevator. Additionally, the swiping only works two times so before you get to the elevator, you will need to close and restart the app on your phone. You will probably need to restart once or twice to even get to where your apartment is. The fire alarm has gone off at least a dozen times in the few months I've been living here. Significantly more than in any other building I've lived in. Last but not least. The biggest issue by far here is the package system (or lack thereof). Be prepared for your packages to be randomly scattered, lost, or delivered and you are never notified, therefore unable to access the package room. Management will address the issue by saying it is the carriers, but this has been my experience in 3 separate buildings managed by Bozzuto. Additionally the package locker does not have cubbies, therefore anyone else with a package can take yours as well. The management staff is very nice and usually responsive but unfortunately it seems to me that this building was not ready to open when it did (in addition to several other amenities not being open). I think in a few years this building could become a true luxury building. If you're going to live here, live in the Dylan building as it is better maintained than the Reese.

We were so happy to find a beautiful place to call home!! Our leasing agent, Kemi, was extremely kind and patient and went out of her way to help us with touring apartments until we found the right one for us. She made the whole process super smooth!! The apartments themselves are gorgeous and modern. The amenities are great, overall recommend!

I put a great deal of research into my apartment search, looking for over 6 months before I decided on even touring communities. The Reese has been a dream since before I signed my lease. I chose this community for it’s gorgeous units with premium fixtures, great use of space, beautiful amenities and walkability to nearby attractions. Moreover, I also chose this community because of my great experience during the touring stage of the apartment search process. On the virtual tour, I saw that the unit was great, and was even better to see it in person! The neighborhood was also stunning, but the management team was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my needs and helped me figure out what would work best. From the tour to now being moved in for a bit over a month, I can truly say that the experience hasn’t changed. The management team here really are absolutely amazing, and a shining star of the Bozzuto brand. From answering all my questions pre-move (and I had a lot!) to make sure I had everything I needed, to now always being available and willing to help is so very appreciated. Huge huge kudos to Jianna, Sonam, George, and Shawn for all their hard work everyday to make this place awesome! I’m truly grateful and I would 100000% recommend renting your next apartment here.

The units that my Fiance & I viewed were BEAUTIFUL! between the floor to ceiling windows, the double sinks in the bathroom, and closet space, this is definitely our top pick at the moment for our new home. Shawn was very helpful in answering the questions we had He was very informative and had a great personality to match.
