Property Ratings at Eagle Pointe
The apartments are absolutely garbage. The flooring is so terrible. Whenever someone walks above it sounds like the floor is cracking and breaking. It sounds like the floor is gonna cave in. What make it even worse is having two potheads above that smoke weed inside 24/7 and it leaks into your apartment. They never stop walking back and forth so the obnoxious sound of the floor will keep you up and you will not get any sleep at all. The appliances are very cheap as well. The stove isn’t even leveled. It’s tilted and doesn’t heat pots consistently. The apartment does not hold heat because of the terrible drafts and holes in the apartment so bill will be high in the winter. You have to hold the handle down for the toilet every time you flush or else it would just make noise and the water will not even move because of the low pressure. If the apartment beside you is being worked on, you don’t get a notification or even a heads up. You just hear banging and noise so if you work from home or are trying to rest, kiss all that goodbye. Oh yeah and the door to the apartment has to be pulled in towards you when you’re locking it. You can’t simply put the key in and turn the lock. These apartments are simply just crap. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. They are definitely not worth a thousand plus a month. Management is pathetic. They rarely answer the phone and when you do get in touch with the manager she will cut you off and talk over you to say what comes to her mind. You won’t get a chance to speak. Don’t get sucked into a one year lease because you will hate your life after just one month. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Eagle Pointe is a big waste of time and money. Overpriced apartments.
Great great place to live if you like the smell of pot! Can’t even open the windows because it not only comes thru the walls and under the doors, it comes in the windows!!!
They r really disgusting apartment.they don't have parking. They have a mouse problem. They are not helpful. They are too rude. Don't try to come those appartment if u have a guest. They will never try to come ur home because of the parking problem.
The walls are paper thin. The people above me sound like they each weigh two tons, but I've met them and they're on the smaller side. My dogs constantly pick up chicken bones when I walk them in the grass? Like literally every time.. I don't understand though, are people having wings every night and then throwing them in the grass? My little one has chocked twice, and they're on leashes being watched, there are just bones everywhere. There is also dog poop everywhere, it's disgusting. People smoke cigarettes in the stairwells and right outside the doors, so it just comes right in your window. And you'll want your windows open because the ac barely pumps air into the living room (you have to have it on constantly). People smoke weed everywhere, every night, there is no avoiding the smell. The people who live here are rude and trashy. Get used to 20 teenagers running around every night screaming loud enough for the entire complex to hear. There is always yelling and partying of some sort between the hours of 8-midnight, sometimes 2am. The slightly lower rent is not worth all of the awful things you have to put up with here. I've moved a lot because of the military and stayed in some pretty crappy places, but nothing as bad or trashy as this place.
If you like living next to the cemetery then this is the place to be. What a sight to see once you look outside your window. Faire Harbour Landings is next to these complexes which is better imho. Well anywhere else is. They take forever to shovel and penny pinch everything they can. Not worth living here.
Comfortable...Affordable place to Live It comes with great details accent wall of your choice dishwasher heat and hot water included which is very important to me and it's clean the office staff makes you feel like family as well
overall, the apartment that i moved into far exceeded my expectations: it's really quiet, has a cute layout, and the kitchen is WAY bigger than the ones shown online. as someone just coming out of college, let's just say that this is a big step up. as far as New London goes, this is in a pretty good area (right next to Waterford, which is a much safer area). I am young and female, and have never worried about safety in the months i've been living here. the office staff seems fine, if a little derpy. i've always found that if you're courteous to people, they generally return the favor. as far as maintenance... well, the place is pretty much right next to Fair Harbor, and you can tell they were designed to kind of look the same, but Eagle Pointe just looks so much better from the outside. additionally, when i moved in i noticed that my carpet smelled bad (some kind of pet odor--ew), and i called the leasing the office. the maintenance staff got back to me the same day, and we made an appointment to have them come in and fix it. they did it while i was at work, and put all of my furniture back where it had been. brand new carpet, just like that! amenities are fine, they look just like in the pictures. completely average. noise: i, personally, either have AMAZING neighbors or just a lucky spot. i'm right in the middle on the complex, middle floor and halfway into the building, and i never hear ANYONE. seriously, there's a woman down the half that i suspect babysits but i never hear kids yelling, raised voices, and no stomping around from above. i know someone else who just moved in here, and she has problems with the people above her; i guess it's the luck of the draw, just like with any other place. people have to be realistic: this is an apartment complex, there are people living around you, and you WILL hear them. get over it. so, again overall i'd have to say that for the price, this is the best place i looked at when i came to town--and i looked at about six or seven complexes in the area. i'd say it's comparable country glen, but cheaper.
I lived here for several years and never had a problem with anything, It was very quiet, the location was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I got a nice space for the price and over all was very happy.
We have been living here for 7 months now, and it started out great. It was quiet, relativly cheap, etc... However, that was before we had upstairs and downstairs neighbors. We found the ceilings to be paper thin to the point where we were continually woken up at night because our upstairs neighbor would be walking around! It was obnoxious and ridiculous how poorly the buildings are constructed. The worst by far, however, is our downstairs neighbor (a smoker) made our entire place smell like an ashtray. So on the rare nights we weren't awoken by bigfoot, we might as well have been trying to sleep in a smoking lounge. Of course, management won't do jack because of our lease (even though there is a perfectly EMPTY apartment right across the hall)! Overall, terrible place to live. Wish I could have the last 7 months of my life back.
