Enjoyed living here for a year and a half but be warned there were multiple shootings, cars racing up and down the streets, and drugs being sold. When you go to leave they will not give security deposit back regardless of how clean your place is. We rented an “as is” apartment and were charged for damages we reported when we moved in.
Lived here for almost a year and, after giving them multiple chances, this is the worst maintenance in a town home or apartment that I've ever experienced. The house itself is cheap and held together by staples, thin plaster, and drafty windows and doors, and feels like it was built in a rush. On move in, multiple appliances were already clogged or broken. They rarely fix things properly on the first try. Water is cloudy and undrinkable and we had bug problems year round. Apparently it's typical for a lot of the neighborhood to lose AC in summer. Cheap, close to the army base, allows 2 pets, but that's about it for the positives.
We lived her our full contract and decided to move because it was a town house and I could hear everything out neighbors did. Great to start to not have to buy a washer and dryer but being stacked they are about half loads of a normal washer and dryer. We used all the amenities they had to offer nothing too special. When we went to move out they were incredibly rude and unprofessional! Would NEVER recommend this place to someone I know. Very expensive for not very much room we now live in double the side of house 4bed 2bath on 3 achers for less than we paid there! Still local to drum look a little more before considering this place
We found Eagle Ridge Village online before we moved up to fort drum, and after checking out the area and the other complexes, we decided on this 2 bedroom place. We have loved it here! They worked with us from the very beginning to make sure we were set in a new unit before we moved up, and have fixed everything that has ever become an issue in a very quick and friendly fashion. We have a dishwasher, central air, stainless appliances, and washer dryer in unit, supplied by the complex, and love all of the modern features and updates they've included, even down to the light fixtures and the kitchen appliances. And for the money, approx $1075 for the 2bd, the place is a steal in comparison to other NY locations. We love ERV and would suggest it to any family, military or not.
We moved in Eagle Ridge Village in 2012 and stayed here almost 3 years. I did my throught research prior to chosing a place for us, because I was expecting and we were very picky! After walking through some of the local rentals we chose this place and never regret we did. It is in nice location, especially if you are military (since Ft Drum is just minutes away), it is very safe - comparing to other places that report some issues, and it was the newest apertment complex at the time! We used everything they offer: pool, especially my daughter enjoyed the kiddie pool, gym, play room, playgrounds (few of them located throut the community) and had birthday parties at the community room! Overall we love it here, and the only downside is then our rent goes up every year, we first rented out 2bed 2 bath for $1155 and now it coast us $1190. I wish it could be more affordable.
