Stretching northeast from I-64 up to Big Chimney, Northeast Charleston encompasses a stunning expanse of relatively undeveloped wilderness just minutes from the historic atmosphere and incredible amenities of the city. While most of the apartments, houses, and condos for rent are concentrated near the city, there are some incredible offerings strewn along the picturesque mountains and hills further from the river banks.
Northeast Charleston has something for everyone, whether you want to live among the mountains with a view, or be steps away from the lively city center. Yeager Airport is nearby, making domestic flights easy to access, and Coonskin Park comprises a large recreational area for everyone to enjoy.

Property Ratings at Eagle View Luxury Apartments
This place advertises that it is luxury but there is nothing luxury about it. There is no gate, so random people walk around up there. The pool is always broken and never opens on time. The gym is trash, and the treadmills are always broken. The apartments are NOT soundproof at all and you can HEAR/SMELL everything all around you. Also, packages get stolen all the time cause UPS/FedEx don't like to deliver to the correct apartment. I lived there for 2.5 yrs and never caused any problems, kept the apartment clean (with my own efforts), and they still did not give me back my security deposit. Don't live here. Prive is crazy high for this location and lack of amenities.

Easy rental process , easy move in. I like furnished as much easier. Apartment was clean. So far so good.

Greetings, We are grateful and appreciate the time you took to leave your review. Hearing that your experience went well really makes our day. Have a great day!
This place is ridiculous! They keep raising rent, yet keep taking away amenities. Supposedly you are paying for a gated, safe community. Now the gate is gone. And anyone can just drive up. Still paying for it. Hot tub?! What hot tub? They filled it in with concrete. Did rent go down?? Nope!

Not the best place to live in the area. Apartments are made super cheap and very overpriced. The office staff are terrible with communication, and they can be pretentious. In August 2022, I was told they were going to replace my carpet after I put in a request to fix it (this was the 4th or 5th work order on this carpet due to it shedding and staples coming up where they did a crap job trying to transition it from the living room to the kitchen), but I needed to move all my furniture out and accommodate to the carpet company that was replacing it, but they would get back to me on a date for them to come. Never heard from the office about a scheduled date and the carpet company showed up without my knowledge or me having time to move furniture. Since I couldn’t move the furniture, the carpet company replaced one section of the carpet, but never returned to replace the rest of it. I informed the office staff and was told they were taking care of it, and I moved out in April 2023 with two different tones of carpet since it was never replaced! Got the security deposit back and they charged me for a carpet cleaning, even though it was supposed to replaced and I made sure SEVERAL times I wouldn’t be charged for the carpet since this was on them. Also charged me $139 to replace part of the sink due to a “crack”, but I thought it the marbling. Wasn’t aware I could be charged for something that was there when I moved in! Calling them “luxury apartments” is quite the stretch.

What a great experience! I rented a furnished apartment through Keri. The communication process was flawless. The rental agreement was very reasonable, unlike the more common, one-sided, customer unfriendly agreement of most apartments I have experienced. The apartment was nice and the staff was very friendly. They prorated the rent to match my chosen exit date and refunded my entire deposit- also unlike my typical apartment experience. Eagle View seems to value customer service. They will certainly get my business next time and I highly recommend them!
I just read some of these reviews and was shocked! I have never had an infestation of bugs/mice, never heard of cars being stolen, or have had any maintenance issues. In fact, they are amazingly fast when needed! Office staff is as pleasant as can be, it is beautiful and safe up here. The restaurant (Lookout) is amazing. The main road up the hill is always perfectly maintained in the winter, always. There are dumpsters throughout the property and only get full when people try and throw furniture in there! My only wish is that they had another pool, it's pretty small when we are at full capacity.
We have been here 11 months in one of the townhomes. They market it as a luxury community, but in reality it’s an over priced, pretty, slum. The gates are always “broken” and left open. They have zero standards for resident selection as long as you can pay a month or so you are in. There is vehicle theft and property damage constantly. The management doesn’t care about anything besides collecting rent and filing a complaint is worthless. There is no enforcement of any rules of the community standards. Maintenance is decent. Like most say it seems like a college party town. If you are looking for a decent place to live, work, and raise a family KEEP LOOKING.
For starters there is no trash service. None. Just two dumpsters for the entire property that are in odd random areas. People have begun to throw their trash bags wherever. I spotted three kitchen trash bags just outside the gym this morning. My balcony is molding. They did not use pressure treated wood nor did they seal the wood. The staircase and balcony to my apartment is molding. Not to mention the spider infestation. Not exaggerating. They are everywhere. The floor is thin. I can hear the guy below me on the phone. He is just talking normal. Most residents like to slam their doors. It seems most residents have never lived in an apartment before so they are rude in their actions. Loud trucks up and down the street. ( including eagle view vehicles) extremely unfriendly staff who have an air of being pretentious. The actually apartment is very pretty with stained wood and solid doors but the build quality is lacking. Large gaps between cabinets and walls. Too small of gaps where doors close causing them to rub. The bathroom in my one bedroom is just a step above a mobile home. My opinion is based on my experiences at other apartments around the country. I rent a new apartment every three months for work and I always choose the “ luxury” apartments. Eagle View is not a good deal. Oh and the driveway is at a 20% grade. Which may not seem like much to the lay person but I implore you to research roads with that grade. Especially in this climate.
I lived at Eagle View for three years and only moved due to my husbands job relocating us to Ohio. This community is truly beautiful! We resided in the Connor Townhome and the quality was exceptional! The community, and our townhome was very quiet, the amenities were close and open when weather permitted, which was still often. The dog park was a favorite for my pup, very spacious and several obstacles for her to enjoy! The staff was always very friendly, and very attentive to my needs as a resident. The maintenance staff was on point, always available and very knowledgeable which assisted in getting matters addressed quickly! The only issues we had when we were there was our tankless water heater needed an update one year and suddenlink needed to rewire our living room cable (no fault of the community). I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a safe, quiet location with attentive management and maintenance!!
cozy apartments and exterior looks good with a pool 4months a year BUT .... Thin walls - you know what your neighboors are doing ! Most apartments are infested by bugs and mice!!!!!. Leasing office is not professional - it is the worst staff I ever met - not helpful They have specials but try to increase your rent at the end of the lease - ask for 1month keep your deposit if you want to leave earlier.

Worst apartment complex. The exterior is nice to look at but the buildings are built too fast, walls are paper thin, terrible service by leasing office, only 1 person working there is helpful. You will have giant bugs in your basement, poor pest control, the hill is somewhat managed in the winter but your roof may leak when it rains.
