Situated just eight miles west of Vail in the Eagle River Valley, Avon is known as the gateway to the expansive Beaver Creek Resort. Avon exudes a small mountain town atmosphere with access to a wide variety of amenities, including plenty of special events, parks, trails, and recreational activities as well as local and national shops and restaurants.
Outdoor recreation is extremely popular in Avon, being the preferred way to enjoy the many gorgeous natural amenities. Residents and visitors have the option to go kayaking on the Eagle River, hiking in the White River National Forest, skiing at nearby Vail or Beaver Creek, and snowshoeing on various Nordic tracks throughout the valley. Convenience to I-70 and U.S. 6 makes getting around from Avon simple.

Property Ratings at Eaglebend Apartments
Well, I resigned my lease, mostly due to the fact that it's cheaper then anywhere else in this valley. I'm just going to leave the pro's and con's of Eaglebend and you can make the choice for yourself, hope this helps a few people! Pro's: It's inexpensive compared to Vail prices. Utilities are included in the rent. It's super close to the grocery store and everything else in Avon, we are talking about a 10 minute lazy stroll, or a fast paced 4 minute walk. Bus stop is also close. Somewhat of a covered assigned parking space. It is very family oriented. Con's It is VERY noisy, there are children running around everywhere with little to no supervision, and yes that means even in the parking lots. Unless you get a remodeled apartment, it's a dump. The water pressure from the shower head is lack luster. Walls are somewhat thin. No dogs, cat's are okay though for a added cost to your rent. They will find any excuse to charge you with a extra fee if they no longer want you there. No smoking inside or outside, that goes for weed to. Laundry facilities, well, not all of them are working, so good luck with trying to get your money back.
