Property Ratings at Eagles Walk Apartments
The team was super welcoming each time I visited to drop of paper work and then sign my lease.
Property Manager at Eagles Walk Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with our team! We are glad to hear that you felt welcomed during your visits and we hope to see you again soon!
I have lived here for 5+ years this is what I deal with. This place is run by mice your apartment will have them no matter how clean you have the space. There is tunnels for them in every closet so they can move around freely. The rental office doesn’t care to help you. You pay for lights outside and trash you pay for the building water usage also hot water which should be a BGE thing
Property Manager at Eagles Walk Apartments, Responded To This Review
We take every review seriously and are disheartened by what you have told us here. Each and every person within our community is very important to us. When you have time please come by the office or give us a call so we can properly address these claims.
You have to pay to professionally clean your carpet no matter how long you live here and odds are they will remove the carpet. Also, they have a horrible squirrel infestation. I had a squirrel break into my apartment three times and the third time I was through my window screen. They do not care about the residents here.
I was impressed with the model units, building, and staff as well as the amenities offered. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the building my apartment is located in as well as someone storing things under the stairs. One of the amenities offered is an ice maker, which I did not get in my refrigerator, and still waiting on a response for that. My apartment had some things that needed work which was done within a day. The dumpster area could use a larger dumpster for trash, it’s not large enough for the number of buildings on the property. Overall, Things seem to be falling into place and the community is quiet, well-lit and the staff is pleasant.
Their maintenance is Superb. Whenever I call for something to be fixed. They replaced the old appliance/equipment with a brand new one. But if you live below, be sure to see rodent in your house, but you can always call on them to get rid of it .. I have live in this apartment for more than 2years and it is worth it
Your apartment always smells like bad weed. You have squirrels living in the walls that are constantly running though the walls at all hours of the day. There is a mice problem that they won’t do anything about. You pay for everyone’s water use and now the common area electric. My favorite is a 15 per month fee for Covid cleaning and I’m the one that cleans the hallways. Maintenance does not touch anything. You have to fix whatever breaks yourself
If you like having a 3 day notice that electricians will be in your apartment at 7 am on a 3 day notice, especially when we work over night then i guess this is your place. Dryer broke and we had to go buy our own replacement part since maintenance never came out. And staff is unprofessional, and very unhelpful. Priced the way it is because you get what you pay for.
If you love roaches, mice and a rental office that will ignore your concerns this is the place for you!
I helped my son move into this apartment when he graduated from college. The apt the showed us looked great. The amenities looked great, but after the move everything went down hill from there. Mice in the apartment. There was a fire in the adjacent building and they cut a hole in the ceiling to reach the fire. The hole was never fully repaired. You not only pay you water bill, but everyone else's as well. they combine everyone's bill and divide it up by the number of people living that type of apartment. So you will pay for you neighbor's use. Then there is the poor customer service. I was given 3 different quotes on how much we owed when terminating the lease early. Each person said the previous person didn't know what they were talking about. Way to throw your team members under the bus. The rental office was closed at every opportunity they could take for office parties. Stay away from Eagle Walk unless you want to live in a virtual continuous night mare
Prior to moving in this complex, I saw the reviews but hoped that by moving to the 3rd floor and one of the newer renovations I would bypass some of the issues that people complained about. Well, I’ve only been here for a week and I’ve already experience a lot of the things that people are complaining about. On my 3rd day I saw a mouse run out the bathroom into one of my rooms. I went down in the leasing office to turn in my inspection sheet and was told that pest control was full for the week. But maintenance did come out the next day to patch holes he found in the kitchen. Right after maintenance left I found holes in literally all the closets so that about 5 for a two bedroom. I call leasing office again but maintenance haven’t returned. I bought some sticky pad my self and place them around all the holes. Next day an Adult mice come running across the living room, a friend and I caught it. 48 hours later, a baby mice come out the nest and manage to avoid all the traps by the holes since it was so tiny and that is when I watch it squeeze itself inside inside what looks to be a small hole in the wall but when I did some more inspection I realize that it’s actually a tunnel - so I went looking around the whole unit and found several tunnels in the creases of the walls in pretty March every room. So I think I am up to 12 entrances/escape pathways for these mixes to come and go as they please. There is a fly problem, and I think it’s due to no one cleaning out the trash cans. I can’t even go on my back balcony without a fly sneaking inside my home. At night time there is a weird and loud noise coming from the ceiling. Sound like a bunch of animals fighting or mating I wouldn’t describe the staff as rude or careless, I would just state that they have heard what I am complaining about a million times Before and they are aware of the conditions. Each time I called no one was rude to me they basically do what is in their power which is report it. Clearly it’s a careless issue on property owners end and the lack of wanting to pay to have this problem fixed. Seems like an issue that have been getting out of hand for a long time and bandaids are being used to fix it. I have a small child whom still pickups things off the floor and place in her mouth and gets into everything. I do not feel right that no matter how many time I vacuum I still see mouse dropping everywhere. I disinfect my counters like 3 times a day. This place does not feel like home.
Our time at Eagles walk has been a joke. We’ve had nonstop problems with our air conditioning not working, our apartment smells like marijuana 24/7, someone in our building must have roaches because I have seen one during the day and they refuse to check other units. The windows are horrible, they let the heat in during the summer and the cold in during the winter, you can also hear every car that goes by on the beltway (which I especially LOVE while I’m trying to go to sleep at night.) They advertise amenities such as free computer use and the pool but the computers are never working, you have to pay $5 per person for a “resident pass” to get into the pool and then to top it all off...the pool has been closed for 2 weeks now in the middle of summer and they have no alternative worked out with other complexes. The staff are ignorant and never handle any issues. I’ve complained time and time again and nothing ever gets taken care of, but instead the staff get an attitude with you. There are other complexes within 5 minutes from this one that I can guarantee are MUCH better, move to one of those - don’t move to eagles walk.
Their going to take off your deposit, no matter what’s just to let you know.
If you are looking to move don't move here. This place is horrible the rental office sucks and they don't like to do any work. If you want something done you have to walk over there and demand it to be done and also be home when they come to do the work, if not they will half do the job are not do it at all. You can find something better. They like to go up on rent but yet never fix anything. DON'T MOVE HERE
A few things...spend the extra dollars and move somewhere else in White Marsh. I have submitted several complaints through the resident portal and never get a response. Luckily, I receive an email copy of my complaint every time I submit one. The staff is unresponsive. I have had issues with my A/C and reported it at 630PM to an emergency line...never received a phone call back. I had to call the front office the next day around 10AM who confirmed no one had yet to come look at the issue. Other continuous problems I have had...neighbors are LOUD with no common respect, I've noticed this around the property, so it's not just confided to my building. My neighbors leave there trash in the hallway overnight/weekends. People will drive around blaring music, and park there cars at night with it continuing to blare. If you have a pet, this certainly isn't the place for you. There isn't a dog area or park. People do not pick up after there pets, and that's probably due to the lack of dog stations on the property. I've also had issues with bugs. I've sprayed my own apartment with different bug repellent that works OK but like the other person noted below, management doesn't care, and don't expect them to follow up or take care of it. One final note, the washer/dryers and dishwasher are OLD. I'm telling you...keep looking. Find a better way to spend your hard earned money.
Warning Mice infested apartments,,, Don't live in eagle walks apartments unless you like living with mice, you will have to make calls after calls to the office for mice problem and they will keep telling you they have maintenance scheduled to come in today but it never happens until you walk in the office and demand it in person. Finally the pest control guy comes and all he does is place a few stickey mice traps around that don't work after a few days as it loses it's function. The office does not take mice problem seriously or see it as a big deal! They say they are pet friendly I didn't know they are mice friendly as well.
I've lived here at eagles walk since September of 2015. I've never had too many unbearable issues until now.. I've had to complain multiple times for the noise with the upstairs neighbors where the problem continued and nothing was ever done.. The maintenance team is slow on emergency calls at times but when they do arrive they get the job done.. The biggest issue that I've had recently occurred where in June the rent deposit box was broken into and hundreds of money orders were stolen. NO REMORSE FOR THE TENANTS WAS GIVEN. Once we were made aware of the issue , they asked for receipts stating the rent was paid and if you did not keep a receipt they would do NOTHING to assist you.. They sent out hundreds of eviction notices (as well as one to myself) and was asking tenants to pay double rent in order to stop the eviction despite THEIR LOSS AND RESPONSIBILITY TO HANDLE THE "THEFT ISSUE" accordingly. Nothing worked in any of the tenants favor.. I took full responsibility for not having a receipt and asked for an extension to pay a week from the eviction date and the property manager proudly told me that she is not at liberty to stop an eviction or grant any extension despite the circumstance. The staff can sometimes be nasty when you ask for assistance as if they hate their job and it discourages you from even wanting to work with them. Outside of that, the neighborhood is great ... My daughter received great schooling with bus services that would pick her up in the complex and I was comfortable bringing my children up in the area.
I've had several bad experiences. Worst apartment staff I have ever dealt with and worst apartment problems I have had.
I moved here in 2014. 2 months later my ceiling started leaking. Maintenance fixed the leak right away but left a huge hole in the ceiling for at least 6 months after that. That was the only real issue I had with the apartment itself and maintenance. However, I don't like the management! they informed me that my lease was nearing expiration and then stated that when my lease renewed, my new rate would be $120 higher per month. I then tried numerous times to get in contact with the property manager to ask why my rent needed to go up by so much but the leasing office had a different excuse for why the manager was unavailable every time I called. After all this, I decided not to renew. I gave notice and then they listed my apartment on this website for $80 cheaper than they offered it to me for. I'm sick of them and I will be gone by the end of the month.
These apts are horrible !!! First off the rental office staff is the worse, they are sooo rude !!!! We only been here about 7months & after the first 2 months are carpet has stains !! BIG STAINS! That we didn't do , we don't have any pets ! They jus do a cheap cleaning on the carpets than move u in than all the stains start to come back jus horrible !!! & these apts are filled with bugs! Flying bugs all over the place! The walls are sooo thin u can here everything your neighbor does ! I wish I wouldn't of moved here!!! & I wish I would of reviewed the reviews b4 moving. Don't move here you will regret it! I can't wait till our lease to be up!!
MICE ALERT: I have lived at Eagles Walk since 2006. 1st a 1 bdrm and then a 2bdrm for the past 6 years. In the past week I have killed THREE MICE in my apartment... 2 with my small snow shovel and one with a snow scraper. (just yesterday) I called the emergency maintenance line yesterday at 10am as of 1pm today no one has returned my call or came by to assess the situation. I guess living with vermin is par for the course as there is obviously no sense of urgency from Eagles Walk. I wont even get into my experience the office staff since I've been here smh)
perfect environment, with good maintenance. conducive enough to bring up kids, quick at listening and attending to the needs of there occupants. well equipped and functional gym,a computer room with internet access and also a printer just for the use of the residents. large enough pool size to accommodate their residents inclusive of friends of residents at no cost. the office environment is always welcoming as the staffs there are great at their job.
Overall its a quiet community and maintenance responds fairly quick. Parking is not hard to find and the location is perfect. There is a rodent problem at certain times of the year like the summer. Pest control comes out every year around the same time to treat but i still will see them during the summer months
I've been at Eagles Walk for over 9 years now. The main reason is because I hate to move. However, Eagles Walk does not give me a reason to find another apartment while I wait to buy. There are no big bells and whistles here. In fact, they have a nice pool that is open during the summer, and a small but adequate gym. They are good with the snow plowing when needed. They even bring in a company to gather up all the fallen leaves from the parking lots in the fall. There is plenty of open parking with no issues of finding a space. The apartment itself is plain. Standard boxy rooms with plain carpeting. Fridge and microwave were new when I moved in and haven't had a problem. The few times I've had to call for maintenance were addressed quickly. A good place for a single person or a couple. I don't think a family would be happy here.
Great location . Great neighbors and privacy. Made my stay great for 2 years. Leasing office is very friendly
I have been living at Eagle's Walk for about 6 months and the experience has been less than satisfactory. I am not a difficult person to please, but the office and maintenance staff doesn't even try to meet my lowest expectations. When touring the property and the model apartment, the office staff were friendly and helpful. I should have known that once I moved in things would change for the worse. The staff are now dismissive and rude, none of them seem to take their jobs very seriously, nor do they seem the lease bit sympathetic to my concerns. When I first moved in I went over a checklist with issues with the unit. Some were small and addressed right away, but the larger issues still haven't been addressed 6 months into the lease. For example, the door on my unit shows obvious damage from a possible break in. I asked for a new door and was told that they don't replace doors one at a time and that I would have to be put on a list. Great! So, meanwhile the heat and air conditioning is leaking out into the hallway and I'm sure that is affecting my BGE bill. The quality of the carpeting is horrible. It was brand new when I moved in, and now it looks awful-- and I don't have pets and am neurotically clean. The appliances are okay, but when I moved in the stove was absolutely filthy. I am in a "renovated" unit which simply means that the cabinets in the kitchen had new faces put on them and they installed very artificial granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom. The washer/dryer unit is so small that one load of laundry turns into two or 3. You certainly cannot wash sheets in it. In their address they have themselves listed as being in White Marsh- they're not. They are in Rosedale. Overall, I DO NOT recommend this development. It is worth the extra money to go somewhere better if you can afford to-- I know that I will be when my lease is up in March.
Office staff is rude, pool is dirty and managed by high school kids, walls and floors are paper thin resulting in a noisy environment, maintenance never fixes problems in a timely manner and when they do it's done halfway, break ins happen all the time (3 in 2 weeks to my apartment). Management is not helpful and they are simply there for a paycheck. There is a lot to be desired. Keep looking and don't waste your money
Before signing our lease, the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic. This all changed once we signed on the dotted line. We are victims of the ole ‘bait and switch’. We were told the pool and 24-hour access gym was included in our rent, however, you must pay to be a member of the pool, which is only open for 2 and half months, Tuesday-Sunday, 12pm-8pm. The pool was ALWAYS dirty with debris floating around. It is ran by high schoolers, which do nothing but sit and talk to one another. Moreover, the pool is always over crowded by misbehaved children whose parents don’t say anything to them. The gym has 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 1 stationary bike and 5 weight-lifting machines (no free weights). The gym is free during office hours, 8am-6pm, otherwise you must pay for a membership for 5 hours (7am-10pm). If you saw the gym, you would know this is not worth it. The staff is very rude, not empathetic and extremely unprofessional. They always make us feel bothersome and unimportant. This is very true of Eagles Walk’s maintenance department. We have had multiple problems that were said to be “fixed” by maintenance, but were never repaired. We were once told by a front desk office employee that we had to choose between not being able to lock our front door or keeping it as is, with a big gap between the trim and the door (which outside air was flowing in and out of). This is just a small example of the way our problems are dealt with here at Eagles Walk Apartments. We recently had a meeting with the Senior Property Manager because no one in the office was helpful in the least bit. The meeting has helped some things, but it’s too early to tell. There is no convenience living here, it has been more of a hassle than anything! Don’t let their low prices get you, you’ll regret it!
Ive been living here for about 2 years now and i have to say i love this place!!! i never want to leave. The staff are amazing and help with all my needs . The grounds are so pretty and very well kept up, And the POOLLLLLLL is just to die for!! Its so huge !
Eagles walk office staff are great, the maintenance response is excellent when I have accidentally locked myself out of the apartment, and the pool is HUGE and well kept! I would recommend this apartment complex due to pricing, floor plans, and proximity to shopping and major highways!
