Property Ratings at East 4th Street
I applied to move here, never heard back if I was approved or not. Regardless they took the damage deposit. $700 that I am not able to get back. THEY NEVER CALLED OR ANSWERED THE PHONE TO LET ME KNOW OF THIS SITUATION. I moved to Cleveland nearly 3 months ago and have been disputing this charge with the bank and they will not give me the money back. The customer service at this rental property is awful, rude, and they hardly answer the phone/email. Do not waste your time even considering living here, better yet don't even apply because regardless they will take your money without letting you know if they are going to approve you. I called nearly every hour daily when trying to get information because I was moving to Cleveland very fast for a new job and they were of no assistance when that is there job. I REPEAT DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE TO RENT!!! YOU WILL REGRET EVEN APPLYING FOR IT!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your horrible experience. I do not believe you have the correct property. East 4th Street does not a $700 damage deposit, so perhaps you have us confused with another location. Please feel free to contact our leasing office at (216) 589-1111 for any questions.
My review is specifically towards the Leasing office and Historic Buckeye Apartments. You will have a ton of maintenance issues due to the buildings age and you better have good renters insurance because they have no remorse for your ceiling leaking on to your belongings and air conditioning never working. The maintenance men are efficient and good at what they do when they actually are provided the info necessary to get the job done. The leasing office is run by a great woman but she lacks any real power to do anything and unfortunately you can tell any higher up the ladder past her has a serious lack of care for their residents. The location is great but other then that I regret renting here. I heard the other buildings with similar rent are more updated but renter beware.

We lived here for 3 years. The price is affordable management is great. The head maintenance guy is a hard worker, things get fixed in a timely manner. Only complaint is the parking garage is on 4th street can get a little tricky at times.
