Largely due to its relative isolation from other major metropolitan areas, Sioux Falls has developed thriving local culture with robust shopping, dining, and entertainment scenes, delivering homegrown cultural resources that would be the envy of any city its size. The local rental market offers a diverse range of options -- the historic homes and apartment buildings of the City Center are popular among young professionals seeking to participate in the thriving downtown community, while the quiet suburban environment of the Shindler neighborhood tends to attract folks seeking a tranquil home life. No matter where they live, all residents enjoy the benefits of an exceptionally low crime rate, which sits at roughly half the national average.

Property Ratings at EastPark Apartments
I waited 4 months for my security deposit. I messaged and called and received no response. I received an email stating that I was owed my full security deposit. Today I got a check for a 1/3 of what I am owed. If you want your security deposit back expect to have to sue to get it.
Management never does anything about noise complaints. They tell you to call non-emergency number and that’s not they way it should be. Would NEVER recommend this place. Worst place I’ve ever been too. Hallways are also absolutely disgusting. It always smells like rotten fish. I would give this place a 0 star rating if I could.
This is the absolute worst apartment. There are roaches everywhere, i put in request after request to get a mail key and have not received one but yet i was billed for it being made. The toilet does not flush correctly so you still have stuff behind and it will build up. My dishwasher did not work after i requested for it to be fixed. Water over flowed the sink multiple times and left a giant pool of water all over the kitchen floor. The dishwasher over flowed, i requested that they fix it, they never did and it created mold. There are noisy neighbors at every hour of the day and night. Kids run around without supervision in the parking lot. Its just a mess there. 10/10 do not rent here!
Roaches everywhere, stains, things don't function properly. You shouldn't have to sacrifice health for cost. Doesn't cost much to clean and make things work. Honestly this building needs to be evicted, and THOROUGHLY cleaned and fixed before anyone should live here.
Out of my six months here cockroaches have been sprayed for 5 times. The office staff are rude, the maintenance people come in without notice and have left my door open twice. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Kari, the apartment manager, was very accommodating at the walk through when I rented the unit. Nothing was done on the "to do list" for 5 months. Nothing was fixed nor was the AC unit covered for the winter months. Orkin sprayed for "pests/cockroaches" 5 times while I lived there. Residents are required to move appliances and empty cabinets or you will be assessed a $50 fee each time that Orkin comes inside to spray. My apartment was entered several times under the pretense of "plumbing issues on second floor". Someone snooped and looked at mail, clothing, cooking utensils and personal items which was all done under the "maintenance problems so we have to enter." Today someone knocked once, used a master key and walked in.....this is not acceptable!!!! If I were sleeping or leaving the shower, there was not time to tell them to stop as they had already entered the apartment!!!!! If you value your privacy and do not want cockroaches from other units, look elsewhere for an apartment. This property is poorly managed, is not clean and the management will snoop through your stuff. Look elsewhere and tell your friends to do the same!!!

We are sorry you did not have a good experience at East Park. We do have Orkin coming in every month and in regards to the snooping, there was an emergency maintenance issue that needed to be resolved. We brought in our maintenance technician along with the manager to verify that nothing out of the ordinary (i.e. snooping) too place. We would be happy to discuss these concerns further if you wish to do so. Please contact our Regional Manager at the Corporate Office by calling 651-389-3811. We want to make sure we are correcting any problems our residents encounter.
