The Lower East Side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serves as a microcosm of the outlying East side neighborhoods and the city itself. Destination streets like Brady and North Ave are at an arm's reach, as is Lake Michigan and downtown to the south. Dynamic bars and lounges rub shoulders with established cafes and sumptuous restaurant options in this hip hood. Parks and green space dot the Lower East Side, and abundant businesses and other services make it very walkable. Renters in the neighborhood far outweigh homeowners, creating ample rental opportunities. This area is centrally located, making it a great option for those looking to commute to the downtown area. Property Ratings at East Pointe Commons
Lived there for 2.5 years. Definitely in decline. From a beautiful apartment to homeless guy staying in the front atrium, hallways smelling like weed, non stop dogs barking. Really sad to see. Happy to be out of there now.

Thank you for your feedback. We've already addressed these issues since your departure, but will continue to monitor. Best of luck on your future residency!
Worst apartment management around. Apartments are cheaply made and stuff breaks constantly. Rent from anywhere else if I were you.
I have been at East Pointe almost two years and it has been such a great experience! Jared and the management team are so friendly and they really go above and beyond to make your time at East Pointe as seamless as possible. Tom and the maintenance team are always great about addressing any items that come up quickly and effectively. The units have been nicely remodeled and are in a great location. I have lived in other apartment complexes in Milwaukee and this is by far the best experience I have had!

We want to take the opportunity to thank you for your positive feedback. We pride ourselves in providing an exceptional place to call home for all our residents, and we are glad to see our efforts are making a difference. We appreciate your residency, and always know you can reach out to us for any questions or needs you may have. Thanks again!
I've been living at the East Pointe Commons for over a month now, and my experience has been tremendously disappointing. I thoroughly read reviews before making my decision to live here, so I'd like to leave my honest review so others can make a more informed decision down the line. Upon moving into my apartment, I found the past resident's kitchen pots, knives, pans, tools, still in the kitchen cabinets. I found the cabinets were unclean and the oven was a mess. I took pictures, included them in my move-in inspection, and chalked it up to an oversight. I discarded the items and cleaned the cabinets myself. A few weeks later, I get a call from one of the front desk staff accusing me of smoking excessive amounts of weed in my apartment (coming from a middle eastern background, I've never smoked weed in my life). I clarified this to the front desk staff on the call, but he insisted I come down for a "chat" with the property manager. I went down and discussed the issue with the property manager, who initially seemed accusatory, but then became apologetic and nice enough. Regardless, being falsely accused was not a pleasant experience, and immediately made me feel uncomfortable living here. A few weeks later, I leave my apartment only to get a massive whiff of marijuana. Although I don't particularly care about the smell, I reached out to the apartment staff to let them know about the issue since they falsely accused me earlier. To my further disappointment, they didn't even bother acknowledging or responding to my email in any way. Ultimately, I'm very let down with my experience so far. I'm hoping things turn around down the line, but as of now, I would recommend you stay far away from this place.

While we would love for every review to be a rave review, it seems that we've not met your expectations. Please accept our apologies. We do have so many happy residents, the vast majority of our reviews are 5-star. The door of communication is never closed. Please stay in touch with our management team and we'll always try our best to work through any situation. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!
Love living in East Pointe Commons! I visited about 6 other apartment complexes before I finally landed with East Pointe. Jared was so kind, friendly and accommodating throughout the showing and leasing process and has continued to check in with me to make sure I am settled in and happy. It really clinched for me that this was the right place to live. Everything was spotless and newly renovated when I moved in. I only had one maintenance issue that was promptly fixed the same day and the maintenance staff introduced themselves personally and made sure I knew I could reach them anytime. The common areas are always clean and tidy. In my first few months here, the staff has organized several community events and have even shared some holiday treats. The crew here truly takes pride in the community and makes you feel so welcome.

We rented a townhouse at East Pointe Commons for the last three years. Have been very happy with the staff. Lauri is very helpful, as is Tom. Communication and repairs have been quick. In my opinion you cannot beat the location with the Hop being right outside the door. If we go back to renting I would definitely consider coming back here.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience here at East Pointe Commons Apartments! We pride ourselves on providing the best living experience in Downtown Milwaukee, and we're so glad that we made a positive impression on you. Sincerely, Lauri Heffron - Property Manager
East Point town houses/condos are the ideal location for Milwaukee, being able to take advantage of the lakefront as well as the surrounding scenery which is filled with breweries, brady street, fiserv forum, and only a short distance away from the third ward and central downtown area. The east point space is in the perfect pocket of the lower east side, with just the right balance of activity and isolation. The staff at East Point is very helpful, friendly and responsive as well, which makes for a great experience to compliment the ideal location.

We are thankful that so many have chosen to make East Pointe Commons their home. Sincerely, Lauri Heffron - Property Manager
I’ve lived here for 8 years. I started in a two bedroom with a roommate, then moved up to the third floor into a one bedroom. The building has been recently renovated and is in the best location! The feel of downtown, but also a quiet enough location to call home. The staff is incredibly friendly and quick to respond to any inquiries. The maintenance manager, Tom, is unmatched. I love living here and don’t plan to leave anytime soon!

Thank you for the wonderful comments! It truly makes for a great day to see reviews like this. We completely agree the location is exceptional and there is never a shortage of things to do nearby. We also could not be more pleased at the renovations and how they have changed the look of the property. Sincerely, Lauri Heffron - Property Manager
After renting for 10 years in downtown Milwaukee, I can safely say the Mandel Group has the most professional and friendly management I have ever seen. Very quick to respond to maintenance issues and easy to get in touch with. We loved our condo and the community and our dog loved the park nearby! Within walking distance to grocery stores, plenty of restaurants and downtown events. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value in a convenient location.
East Pointe Commons is the perfect place for anyone who loves downtown Milwaukee. Whether you're looking for a one bedroom apartment or a townhouse, here you'll find yourself in a centrally located, safe and reasonably priced area. The on site gym, sprawling courtyard, restaurants, grocery, dry cleaners and bars are all no more than a five minute walk away. Beyond that, you'll find both the gorgeous lakefront at Bradford beach as well as the exciting night life of Water Street bars.
Apartments.com was very informative to work with. Staff was energetic and courteous in providing many possibilities for rentals. However, we were looking for a short-term rental of one month and after calling several of them, unfortunately we found that none of the apartments rented for less than 6 months. We ended up at a hotel instead. If we have need for a future rental, we'll definitely contact apartments.com.
I lived in an 1 BR + Den for 3.5 years at East Pointe Commons, and it was my favorite apartment and community since I started renting 16 years ago. The staff is very responsive and friendly. The area is terrific, and you are walking distance to almost every want and need you could possibly have. If this place is in your budget, I recommend moving here.
