Property Ratings at Eastampton Place Apartments
Lived here 3 years and loved it! The maintenance crew was on point. I loved my balcony overlooking the pool. The walls are pretty much sound proof with the exception of the upstairs neighbors (depending on lifestyle and pets). The buildings are fob entry and have a camera on each floor which made me feel safer. The gym is small but good equipment, pool, lounge area, and grill were very welcoming. The only issues I had were the sound from the upstairs, and people parking in my assigned spot (only happened twice) after hours where I wasn’t able to report them as the office wasn’t open and it’s not an emergency. The community tries to have events with meet and greets, and a monthly local community newsletter. This area is in a great location and near base (far enough away but close enough) for those in the military. Also, a great location to get to public transportation. The apts sell out fast so if you’re thinking about it, get it.
i've been here a few months and honestly it put renting an apartment a bad taste in my mouth. landlord is crazy money hungry the rules here make no sense the walls are so thin either someone is practically stomping around on my head or i can hear EVERYTHING from phone calls and conversations outside to what movie the neighbors are watching from next to me and across from me from my bedroom. if you have a roommate the second bedroom is basically a closet. whatever type of paint they use is hella cheap you can't clean the walls without the paint coming off i accidentally splashed water on the wall going to dry my hands on the towels in the bathroom and someone that stained the wall next to the stove good lord don't cook with oil or that will stain. parking is so full if you end up living in building 1000 you'll end up parking behind the other apartments if you don't get home early enough. neighbors are shady and do hit and runs with no notes or anything the apartment is not worth the money whatsoever for all these problems i could've lived somewhere else alone for cheaper with a better quality of life. the best thing about the apartment is cvs is next door for snacks and a liquor store across the street

Thank you for taking time out of your day to write this review. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. Regarding the noise you hear from your neighbors, there is always some noise that will be evident in multifamily living, especially when there are not a lot of sound-absorbing materials, such as wall-to-wall carpeting. It is different than living in a single-family home, and sometimes that takes some getting used to. That being said, if the noise is above that of daily living, we encourage our tenants to let us know so we can investigate the source and address it accordingly. With regard to the parking lot, ample parking is provided, however you may not get the spot closest to your residence. We also do periodic inspections of the units with garages to ensure that they are using their parking spaces accordingly. We use Benjamin Moore paint in our units, and yes, grease does stain the walls. We suggest you use splatter guards when using oils to prevent any damage. We also offer touch-up paint so you can enter a work order through your portal and maintenance will provide touch-up paint. Lastly, we encourage you to stop by the leasing office to discuss these issues with us directly. Feel free to stop by or call to make an appointment.
Don't be fooled by the appearance the apartments are thrown together with a lot of issues like huge gaps between the floor and doors, bent fixture/handles, water damage, and floor dividers that are properly secured. Logistically the complex owners are also trying to be cheap by not providing enough parking nor garbage let alone a pool that coincides with the number of units the complex has. And definitely don't be fools by how polite the staff like Melissa pretends to be when they are trying to move you in because after that she becomes very dismissive if u are able to get a decent message at all that isn't a cookie cutter response.
The new appliances is the only plus to this place. Other than that, this place will never feel like a home to whoever decides to live here. From the moment I wake up I constantly feel like I’m walking on eggshells due to the fact that I might have someone complain and have a email written to me saying that I’m in violation to my leasing agreement. It’s plain and simple, the apartments are cheaply made since I can hear every one of my neighbors and what they’re doing. If you work night shift, there is zero regard to your needs. If you are hoping to have a get together with some friends or family this is NOT the property for you. From the start these apartments should’ve been for people that are 55+. By the way, if you see those 5 star reviews praising this place. Those are scripted.
I am an original tenant from when phase I was opened in 2017. I moved to phase II 8 months ago to be closer to the clubhouse and pool. I have had a very positive experience with Eastampton Place. The community is new and the apartments are very nice. Stainless steel appliances, nice floors, upgraded interior doors and neutral gray paint give the apartments a modern and up to date feel. There is plenty of closet space and the bathrooms have nice fixtures. I’m a fan of the walk in shower in the master bath. Management has been very responsive to my needs . The original property manager Richard, was extremely helpful with my securing the apartment and made my transition smooth. The current manager Melissa has been great and made my move to phase II seamless. She went out of her way to ensure I was taken care of which I appreciated. Maintenance has been responsive and always had a quick response when a work order has been submitted. If the issue could not immediately be resolved, there was a plan in a timely manner to get the problem corrected. Also, maintenance staff is very friendly and approachable. I can’t say enough good things about maintenance. Some reviews say parking is an issue. My building has assigned parking so it’s not an issue for me. From what I see, I don’t think parking is a problem overall...your mileage may vary. The clubhouse and pool are amazing. There is a gym and game room in the clubhouse, and the pool...though I wish was a bit larger...is like being at a resort. The picnic area is complete with gas grills, fire pits and extremely comfortable seating. Due to Covid, management decided to shut down the clubhouse and pool since last March. As of now, one can use the gym by appointment only. I understand the reasoning behind the closure, but I’m hoping to have these facilities open this upcoming summer. I hope management decides to come up with a creative way to allow the residents to enjoy these perks on some level. Though we don’t pay additional fees to use the amenities, the rent here is not cheap. It’s frustrating not to have the amenities that attracted me to live here. I’m sure many residents will agree. Overall I have been very pleased with living here and plan to stay. In my opinion, this is by far the nicest rental community in the area. If you can afford the rent, this is where you want to be.
I lived here for 3 years and was one of the first tenants. The apartments are nice with new appliances. The initial group of apartments (the ones down the road from the leasing office) have one trash compactor for all the units, which was often full. I complained to management about it many times but instead of adding more trash receptacles or increasing pick-up, they seemingly did nothing. There would be several days at a time where trash would literally pile up. Keep in mind if you live in those first set of apartments, you are down the road (a little less than 1/4 mile) from the pool/office/gym (so you wouldn't want to walk usually). The management also makes you decide whether to renew your lease or not 6 months before it ends, which is by far the longest period of notice I've ever had to give. Additionally, most times when there was a rainstorm, the power would go out for at least some period of time, another odd quirk of a new compound.
The appliances are nice. Parking is getting very full and that's not even with all the buildings open. There are going to be retail shops in some of the 1st floor areas of the two main buildings, yet there is not a single parking spot allocated for those places. So, people who come to those retail places AND people who work there, will be taking residents parking spots which I think is NOT okay considering the price of rent. The apartments looked very nice when we first moved in but I slowly become irritated with a lot. The bedroom doors are pretty much nothing - it's like if you hung a sheet over the door because they are so thin that it does not block any noise - they are clearly doors that were made for a pantry or closet, and not a bedroom. In my opinion, you can find better apartments, that have been better planned out and higher-quality, for the same price. You can also find a management who genuinely wants to provide the best for their residents and unfortunately, I just do not see that here.

Thank you for your review. We understand your frustration regarding the amenities. The safety and well-being of our residents and staff are paramount and although we would love to be able to provide you access to the amenities, we cannot logistically and safely accommodate your access to the amenities as a valued resident. We are also sorry about the frustration you've experienced regarding your doors and parking. We are happy to have our maintenance staff come over and inspect the doors and will continue to look into this situation. If you haven’t done so already, please submit a maintenance request via the resident portal. While parking may not always be available directly in front of your building/residence, there will be additional parking for residents as the remaining buildings will all come with dedicated parking spots in the rear of the community. We appreciate your patience as we navigate the challenges of opening a brand new community. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to visit the leasing office or give us a call (609) 667-7045. Thank you!
I lived for two years in the first phase of Eastampton Place and loved it! The interior of the apartment speaks for itself - just beautiful. High end appliances, granite counters, and so many closets for storage. Parking was never a problem and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. I was so excited when the second phase was being built I made sure to tell the sales office (Rich was so helpful) that I planned to move to a larger model in phase two as soon as my lease was up. I moved three months ago to the largest model in Eastampton Place West and I am loving every minute of it. Melissa is now the new sales manager and she is delightful. Dan and Mark (the new maintenance team) were so helpful, my move was seamless. Can’t wait for the pool and grills to open again - I used them all last summer when I lived in phase one and I felt like I was at a resort. Looking forward to enjoying many more years here!
My husband and I moved into Building 6000 at the end of November. We are impressed with everything these apartments offer. I lobe the neutral colors on the walls, flooring, and granite counters. The large walk-in closets with overhead shelving adds additional storage space. The cordless blinds that are included were a great savings. The stainless steel appliances and the oversized kitchen counters, pantry, and high faucets are a wonderful feature. The open floor plan is great for entertaining, over the holidays I set up a full buffet on the kitchen counter and my guests were very impressed. The high hat lights in every room are so practical, no need for lamps!!! The double sinks in the master bath provide plenty of room for all our toiletries, and we love the rain head shower. So many luxury extras I can go on and on. Oh yes, I forgot, free coffee every day at the clubhouse! We downsized from a very large house and while it was on the market I scouted many apartment complexes in various areas and this one was by far the best. The staff in the sales office and the maintenance crew are very helpful and customer friendly. When we needed help adjusting the lock on our sliding door in was corrected within 2 hours of the request. THANK YOU! So glad to call Eastampton Place West home!
