Property Ratings at Eastern Heights Apartments
The building manager does not do her job. She takes multiple breaks a day. Also, she does nothing. For instance, when I moved in last year, I paid the full rent and deposit but did not move in for a week due to other circumstances. When i decided to move in, I saw what looked like a bed bug. I told the .manager buy nothing was done about it. I woke up last week to my apartment being flooded coming from one end of the hallway to the other with about three to four inches of what smelled like sewer water. It took three days for them to hire some people who seemed unprofessional. The only thing they did was vacuum the water up nd it still was wet for another week. As soon as you walk in the building. It has a foul smell. There's a high level of drug activity with multiple people standing in front of the building each day. I would not recommend this place.
I moved in about 3 years ago and left after only a year. The building manager was worthless, essentially. She is scheduled to have an hour lunch but I swear she took 3 or 4 of them a day. She was constantly late or just didn't show up at all. I had a maintenance guy come in and trash my home when he was fixing a leaky sink. He left a complete mess of his things and moved a bunch of other things in my home that were no where near the sink. It was impossible to not have bugs no matter how hard you try. They were everywhere in the place. The day after I moved in I found 2 under my sink, told the manager, and nothing was done about it. The pot holes in the parking lot were TERRIBLE. If you couldn't avoid them you had better hope your car was sturdy. The neighbors were constantly loud, fighting, or playing annoyingly loud music. Nothing ever done about it. The laundry was always either broken or they just forgot to unlock the doors 3 days a week. The rent price is good, but you get what you pay for. I had a terrible experience from the beginning. Would highly recommend looking somewhere else, not worth the disgusting conditions the building is in.
