Property Ratings at Eastowne Village Apartments
Great price... but you get what you pay for. Mold issues and they just spray over top of it with stucco and spackling.
When i first moved in all was well...I switched to a 2br 2 bath and then they started charging for water...No big deal, right? My water bill was around $30-$40 a month then all of a sudden jumped to around $80-90...with just me and my kids that came over ever other weekend?? It kinda went down hill from there...My apartment was drafty and you could see daylight coming in from the bottom of my patio door..my front door was worse but they fixed it months later, but you had to slam my front door to get it to shut. I'm not one to complain but My last year of living here was a horrible experience...from the drafty windows and doors to the subflooring being sketchy..(when you stepped in front of the dishwasher the floor sunk in and where the washer closet was it sunk in several inches!!) I am not one to complain...this is my first "negative" review for anything honestly but i think people need to be aware before they move into an older apartment complex. For the price it's honestly not worth it...besides the newer building the rest are outdated and I have made note of the hefty raise in the rent since I left in Feb!! I would recommend going down the road a bit or heading to fountain city to check out other places..It's a great location and if you decide to move in REALLY check out the unit before you move in (especially the flooring around the toilets/showers/kitchen/washer dryer area)and keep an eye on your water bill!
This is a terrible establishment! Please people do not waste your money signing a lease here. The office staff are rude and unprofessional! The apartments are old and outdated for their price. My appartment had a mold problem in the bathroom! Just disgusting!!! Please this is a warning do NOT LEASE WITH THEM!
This is a run down poorly managed apartment complex. It's loud, people don't follow rules here which are not enforced anyway. I'm on a top floor, but the building is so old and not kept up so you hear everyone walking, can hear everyone in the parking lot and of course everyone's loud music. Maintenance usually does not fix any problems, although they may attempt it, but it's never fixed. There is a smell that comes up from the pipes that is just nasty and they can not or will not do anything about it apparently. I've been on a budget and this is a convenient location so I regretfully signed a new lease earlier this year. This will be the last time I do.
I have lived at Eastowne Village for over four years and have had a great experience. The apartments are very spacious, noise level is low, parking is great and staff is excellent. Most importantly, it is very well lit and I feel very safe! Any issues that I have reported have been resolved immediately. I love living here. It is convenient and very close to everything.
Apartments are really affordable and have an amazing layout. I love my apartment. We are right next to everything. The property manager was also very professional and if we had any question or concerns he was very helpful. This was our first apartment ever and in a new state at that. Id recommend this place to anyone.
