Property Ratings at Eastpointe Lakes Apartments and Townhomes
Since Morgan Properties bought the property, it has been a negative experience. I have had issues with signing a new lease including being asked to sign it with false information, required to remove my personal washer and dryer, significant rent increases, drafty apartments, thin walls, infrequent lawn mowing, long-term broken down cars with expired tags, overflowing trash, rent payment issues, frequent office closure during the regular hours with no notification, lack of communication, excessive geese, mice, mold, contractor messes, and noise from trains and airplanes. One or two of these reoccurring issues are manageable, but all of them together is intolerable.

Moved to Eastpointe Lakes 10 years ago and have loved it ever since. The office staff have always been great, and maintenance quick to get any repairs taken care of (and no, I’m not getting paid to say this – it’s actually very true). My husband and I just recently moved out due to sudden life change otherwise, we would still live there. Have lived in a 1 bedroom upstairs, 2 bedroom downstairs, and townhome during those 10 years – and have liked all of them. Neighbors are both new and some have been there as long as I have and are great people. Of course, every place has a little crime (car break-ins - that is a given anyplace) and you can't make everyone happy – BUT one of the main reasons I moved into this complex is the comfort of feeling safe and secure in the complex esp. back when I was single. I would highly recommend checking this place out – ask for Danielle!!

Thank you so much for this review! We really appreciate it.
I am relocating here in September. I called the office to inquire about a 2 bedroom townhome. I do not currently live in Columbus, so essentially everything pertaining to the apartment I had to do over the phone and online! Danielle was exceptional. Not only was she comfortable to talk to she went above and beyond to assist me. She sent me photos of the townhome and assured me that the pictures were identical to the actual unit. She made me feel good about my decision to apply and pay the deposit over the phone without seeing the space in person! Kudos to Danielle. She is patient and kind and goes above and beyond to help you make the best decision. I am excited to move-in in September. Thanks Eastpointe Lakes! -Marshaa

Thank you so much for the great review! We are so glad you had an exceptional experience at Eastpointe Lakes!
We had the best experience. Unfortunately our situation didn’t work out but they were very helpful, friendly & nice. Danielle worked with us every step of the way. The grounds were beautiful and the apt was set up perfect for our daughter. Despite all the obstacles she worked tirelessly trying to help. It was very refreshing. I highly recommend not only Danielle and any of the other Casto communities. They are all very well managed.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! We greatly appreciate the review.
Love this place. It is clean, very well kept, QUIET, and close to everything. Every resident I have come into contact with here is super super friendly as well which is not always easy to find!!!! I love the office staff. They are on top of things and are always very patient and helpful if I have questions. Maintaince requests are always taken care of promptly, and the emergency maintenance lady is great and super sweet and friendly. never an issue to get a hold of her. Currently I rent a first floor one bedroom. I love that the units look brand new and fresh. Flawless, honestly. This place took my breath away when I first came to check it out and nothing else I looked at could compare. this was the most reasonable "newer" place I could find on the east side. i will say that the first floor one bdrm units are absolutely perfect for just one person and maybe a small pet or 2. I'd recommed an upstairs unit for 2ppl for sure. . I was worried about renting a first floor unit because I read many reviews with complaints on how residents can always hear everything the upstairs neighbors are doing, but I have had absolutely no issues. you WILL hear them occasionally, as you would in any first floor unit with someone above you, but you will not every single thing they do ALL the time like people "say" unless they are just abnormally obnoxious people. I voiced that concern before moving, and upon doing so, the leasing office told me that they have hardly any noise complaints, but also that they take them very seriously, and with all my positive experiences with them, I can say I would have no reason to doubt that they would handle it. the train ppl complain about I have heard one time only since I've been here. the noise from the planes do not bother me. it isn't as loud or as frequent as people say. it isn't like we are right next to the airport and the planes sound like their going to land on top of the roof. yeah you hear them but it isn't a disturbance. not like its going to wake you. I love the large grassy areas perfect for your dogs if you have them. ample space for them. yes there is only one trash compactor towards the front of the complex , but hey, as awesome as everything else is here, I'd be willing to settle for that. I'd recommend this place to anyone! I wish I would have read a review like mine prior to moving, it would have made coming to a decision so much simpler than reading all the other negative reviews that I have found to be totally untrue
I would not recommend Eastpointe Lakes. I have been living in a townhouse and I cannot wait to move. The noise is terrible, especially when your neighbors have a crying baby. On top of that, the staff is terrible. They have entered my townhouse without my permission and without giving prior notice. When I pointed out that they legally have an obligation to provide notice, they did not even apologize. When I provided my notice telling them that I was moving, they began coming into my townhouse unannounced again. The complex also does not take crime seriously. There are six town houses in each building. There have been two break-ins in my cluster of town houses alone very recently. The management likes to sweep these things under the rug and they do not even alert tenants. I learned of these break-ins through my neighbors themselves, after the staff refused to alert the tenants.
Beautiful Town homes! Pond view from my back porch with ducks. Love it! Gas fireplace, free gym, nice pool. On site laundry if you don't have a washer/dryer. The gym is not shabby. Downsides: Water pressure could be better. Only one dumpster for trash. All though the walk is not far....parking is first come first serve. Kitchen is lacking in storage space. If you want a Garage it is $60 extra a month. The Garage is actually bigger than my last apartments garage! Response time for Maintenance is pretty good as well. Overall I'm glad we chose Eastpointe lakes. It's closer to both our jobs. It's closer to shopping I can get to Pickeringtin in 15min, Easton Town center 15min, Gahanna about the same time. Traffic is always a factor. I love it here so far since we moved in!
When I decided to move closer to my work I assumed I would pay more and get less for the convenience. I couldn't have been more wrong. Nestled in the quiet streets right behind the busy city, I have found a treasure. Surrounded only by polite and friendly neighbors that smile and wave as we leave for work early in the morning. Scenic ponds with soothing fountains that draw you in and ease the stress of the day. Walk-in closets that pardon your shopping addiction. Built in cubbys make storage and organization easy and decorative. Modern fixtures and a cozy fireplace give a perfect balance of city living with country charm. Of course there is a gorgeous and refreshing swimming pool and fully equipped fitness room, but really makes this apartment perfect is the feeling of being HOME.
The apartments are nice. The staff are nice and come in when things need fixed. The only downfall would be the parking sucks. They need assigned parking spot for people that live there. Kinda annoying have to park far to get home. Other than that great place to live.
