Property Ratings at Ebbets Field Apartments
away from the urban community Amenties are a pulse.
This apartment is 20th century and basically maybe going out-of-date. It would be nice to live somewhere where there are at least water sprinkles in case of fire, and wider parking space per car.
This is the worst apartment ever I been looking for an apartment
Apartment in need of minimal repairs water and plumbing fixtures in bathroom and kitchen windows need to be updated ventilation system not at its best heat regulatory system not the very bestcan be improved with owner investment into property we are in rent parking spaces are much too small security not the best
I have lived in my Ebbets Field apartment for over 22 years! Although crime has dropped over the years this place is very unsanitary. Garbage is all over the building, in and outside. The positive values are that it's right across the street from a Public School and the Jackie Robinson playground. This wouldn't be such a bad building if they renovated, the landlord treats it's tenants horrible. Needs major repairs! I have the same cabinets from when the building was builded, since 1967!
My apartment is a very nice one. What really is good with this apartment is that water, electricity and heat are included with the rent price. That's what I enjoy the most because paying bills separately can be annoying. Now the owners of the buildings are doing a makeover in new apartments. They are putting woods instead of ceramic on the floors so we just recently redid our own apartment by adding wood as well. the apartment is a 2 bedroom apartment habituated by my aunt, uncle, cousin, godson and I. We have a living room a bathroom and a kitchen. It is important to maintain your apartment clean to avoid roaches and mice. We have been having some mice problems. They have been coming from holes in the walls so maintenance will come fix it. Maintenance is always available when we need something fixed.
Pretty safe area, utilities included in rent; however, rent is getting expensive .
Underlying infrastructure of "renovated" apartments is in poor condition. Excessive leaks, apartment flooding, rats, rodents, and noise, as well as an unresponsive management office and maintenance staff make for a very poor living experience. Seriously reconsider living in this complex. Also, Google Fieldbridge Associates, LLC - this property management company has been sued on NUMEROUS occasions and has a long list of active complaints with the NYC Housing Preservation and Development Office. Do your research before moving here!!
nice apartment very spacious, location good close to train, prospect park and shops I like...
I was told the apartment would be renovated. But it was just patched up. The cabinets were filthy from previous tenant. Paint was applied over dirty surfaces. toilet was black, bedroom is VERY drafty, windows had 3 + years of soot. Bathroom is patched up in caulk. Caulk and grout was put on top of moldy dirty grout...so it fell off and peeled immediately. Thick caulk used to patch up every where. Roaches, Mice will be your housemates. Administration and maintenance will give you the run around, and even lie to say you never put in a maintenance request in the first place. They will only come 9am to 5, and not even on that day. So you need to take 2 days off to sit and wait for someone to come, and not solve your problem. The Real estate agents were nice, but that has nothing to do with the reality of living here. They are trying to gentrify this building so they treat all new and old tenants alike, badly and like we are unintelligent.
