I have lived at Echo Ridge for a year and I have to commend the staff on their efforts. They are always so kind and prompt to resolve any issues that may arise. A specific example: Just recently I had put in a 60 day notice to vacate due to other opportunities. We had changed our mind and wanted to stay but our current apartment was leased out when we inquired. We considered different units and Found one that wasn’t available until august. Aware of the fact our lease was up in May, John in management went out of his way to call us up when the people who leased our current apartment fell through and spent all day arranging a way for us to stay at our current location then transfer to the other unit. There were a lot of questions on our end and every step of the way he was light hearted and enthusiastic. He maintains a mentality of joy that is obvious. This is only one of the several examples of the kindness not only John but all of the staff and maintenance maintain. I really do need to give a shout out to maintenance as well. I have encountered several different members of maintenance and it seems that kindness and a gentle spirit is a requirement for employment. If it wasn’t weird I would feel totally comfortable hugging them. I trust every person that enters my home and I’m happy to see them when we pass each other on the street. We look forward to our next lease term here.

RUN. Do not walk. Run from this complex. We had no problems while living there except for minor issues (dog poop everywhere, rules not being enforced, etc) and paid our rent on time every month. However, when it came to move out, we were charged for an entire month at our last bill instead of the 4 days we had left. We had our payments on autopay and it withdrew from our account. We immediately called and were told that it was our fault for not turning off autopay and that there was nothing they could do. We had to do a stop payment order which we were told would give us a late fee on their end as well, even though we immediately called and were told to place the stop payment. We consistently kept in contact via email and phone to see what the next steps were and were told to wait for a letter with further instruction on the remaining balance and security deposit. Now, after contacting them to see how everything was going with no response, we have received a letter from collections. Despicable management. There are other similarly priced apartments in castle rock that are much more worth your time and money. Echo Ridge only cares about getting as much money from you as possible.

I have lived here for many years and had several apartments, some of which had the best views in Castle Rock! The management staff are amazing and always helpful and professional. They are always willing to help with any questions and offer advise. There is always sufficient parking and found that during the winter, the snow is cleared right away. If I have a maintenance issue, the call-back is immediate and resolved within a day, if not the same day. You will not find an apartment in Castle Rock that comes close to all the great amenities!
I am only giving 1 star because I can not give 0 stars. This apartment complex is by far the worst property I have ever lived at. The staff is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I honestly feel that for the last 12 months, I should have had a Lawyer to help me deal with this community. I feel like it has been nothing but problems since I moved in, and the best months were the ones when I was out of town, or spent little time at Home. That's right, I called it home. When you rent somewhere, it should feel like home, and this did not. I felt like I lived in a very hostile community the entire time. I actually got a notice after I moved in that said kids under 18 could not be outside on the property with out adult supervision. So if you have kids that are, oh say 16 or 17, they need to be supervised??? Multiple maintenance requests, that were not handled correctly the first time. And here, to top it off, I went out of town for Labor Day weekend. Couldn't pay my rent on the 1st, but they allow a grace period until the 3rd without a late fee. Well, I was going to pay my last month using their handy Phone app. It is my last month, so I only owe a partial month. Even though the office was closed on the 3rd, I didn't think it would be a problem to pay on the 3rd online, like I had always done. NOPE!!! Their app doesn't except partial payments. I called and left a message and never got a call back (no surprise there) so I had to call in today on the 4th, asking if it needed to be a money order since it was the 4th. Yep, no problem... Oh, by the way $110 late fee. Seriously!!! so I asked to speak to a manager, and spoke to **** the Financial Manager. She was rude, and inconsiderate, and completely unwilling to even discuss this issue from my point of view. I'm not sure why I expected different from the place I call HOME! She hung up on me because I was irritated that they are ripping me off. Well, get your money cause after this, I won't give you another dime, and no one else should either. I should have believed all the negative reviews I read before. They are all true. Find somehwere else to live. Sorry if this review seems un-polished. It is, I am very upset by the way I have been treated, and todays phone conversation was just as bad as all the others. Good Riddance Echo Ridge.
I've lived here since January 2016 and love it! I have nothing but good to say about the management and maintenance staff, they are so helpful and kind. I ?? my home here..so comfy! Perfect location, plenty of parking, beautifully kept grounds and the pool/clubhouse is amazing! A truly great place to call Home!
I've lived here for 9 months. Unfortunately I made the mistake of signing a 13 month lease. Make sure you research all the online review sites on this place. Keep in mind, bad reviews don’t lie. Good reviews can be posted for various reasons, such as: staff or members of staff families, lonely people (new to town) wanting to be accepted by the community, and/or people wanting to win the echo ridge gift card giveaway, etc. Also, the office texts the tenant list every month or so soliciting reviews. You can win a gift card for reviews or something. And their four star advertiser review is paid for. Keep this stuff in mind while reading their reviews. My big reason for this review is... We’ve had some inconsiderate (more than likely nosy neighbor) tenants encroaching on our personal space since day one. This is not an understatement, it is disgusting to live with the shaking, slamming, and constant bagging. Classy behavior, for sure. We signed the papers so it's our fault. Keep in mind, it's very easy to disturb other tenants with noise at echo ridge because of the cheap construction job. This is not the first review saying this. If you do sign the papers, DO NOT get a unit on the 3rd floor. You will be sorry. Especially if your neighbor's objective is to to disturb others. If privacy and a solid foundation are of no concern to you, be my guest. Remember, you are locked into a 13 month lease. If I could go back, I would read up on this place. You’ll also find that they jack up their move out charges and will possibly destroy your credit without warning. Like the other tenants and people who’ve paid the price, we’re interested to see what happens after we move out. NOT WORTH IT. Read all negative reviews carefully. Make sure to look around town before you make your decision.
Communication with residents is negative and threatening, even if they have made errors in their bookkeeping and notifications. Rent is high for the quality of the apartment. Parking is limited, many times parking cannot be found, especially, if you live by the swimming pool.
I'm sad that I have to move out of this place. Especially because rent in becoming ridiculously high in Colorado and as a single mom its killing me to find another place this great.
I love our apartment and our rent is good compared to others in the area.The management staff is nice but....... the maintenance staff leaves a lot to be desired. The weight room temp is always too hot and you cannot adjust but have to wait for a maintenance guy to it! Really!? Most folks want to exercise without that hassle and would like to not feel like they are going to kill over from heat exhaustion. Also they cannot get the hot tub fixed either apparently. In addition we have sent multiple emails regarding the outside lights coming on at DARK not 45 minutes after.
