not much to say about the property itself that others haven’t already, just reiterating that the maintenance team here is phenomenal. Shawn is a great communicator with his residents and others like Thomas and Jeremy always do outstanding repairs in a timely manner when requested.

Thank you for sharing your leasing experience. We are happy to provide you with a new home at Eden at Bexley Crossing.
Been here since 2018 with great management at the beginning but went down hill over the years. New management though is very professional and on top of task used to take forever to get in contact with someone but now get responses right away. Maintenance has significantly improved used to have to wait weeks to get something fixed now come same day as service requests is put in and do the job correctly so am not having to keep asking them to come back.

Thank You - We are happy to take care of your resident needs!
Old management had been declining for a couple years we’ve lived here since 2019 but recently after lots of trouble, we got into a townhome from the 1BR units. The new management company and maintenance people seem much more professional/courteous. Had a few maintenance issues that had not been fixed since the prior tenants but the new company has had them fixed now pretty quickly and the maintenance staff were friendly and informative.

We are delighted to hear it! Thank you for commenting on your experience with our team members.
We've lived here for a couple of years and haven't had too many problems with our apartment. Keep in mind that the apartments are old. We've had a few things replaced because they were outdated. The second floor doesn't vent properly so it gets hot in the summer. Management did let go of the office staff that have worked here for years (not sure why) so I can't comment on the new staff. Yes, sometimes you'll see a skunk or a ground hog but not often. A few times we've had an outage and scheduled water maintenance in the complex. They're continuously improving the apartments appearance. They have landscapers here every week. Last year they repaved the parking lot and the speed bumps are so much better now. Other than that, I'd say this is a really safe place. The neighbors are friendly, quiet, plenty of parking spots, rent is affordable, and no problems with bugs!
My partner has lived in this complex about 3 years. We needed more space when I moved in and tried to work with management to get into a larger unit. Managment made us go month to month with an extra $50 tacked onto our rent until a new unit opened up. Ran my application and had to rerun my partner's application, both with a $35 application fee. Then failed to notify us once a bigger unit opened up. We saw on their website that a townhouse was available and contacted them for details. They then informed us that we would have to pay rent for a full month in our current apartment as well as for the new unit. Which they did not tell us was coming available in time for us to leave notice. Their solution was to wait another month and a half for another apartment to come available. We decided not to deal with this rental office any longer. There is more to the story, but I am not trying to write a novel. I am going to be enormously happy to leave this disorganized and inconsiderate company.
I've been living in a 1BR here for two years now. These apartments aren't anything fancy, but they're a good value for what you pay, and the leasing agency is gradually upgrading them. This year we got new energy-efficient windows, for example. The staff are friendly (Melissa's great!), repairs--while infrequent--have always been quick, and I've never felt cramped or unsafe in my apartment despite living alone. I do wish my apartment got a bit more sunlight (only 2 windows), but that's not unusual for a 1BR. With the inexpensive rent and the short commute to OSU, I'd happily recommend Barclay Square to my grad student friends. A word of warning though; if you're allergic to cats, this may not be the best choice. There are strays everywhere, and several very sweet cats live in the rental office.
just applied for one bed room one week ago I can wait to start living there but the staff very professional and Melissa make you feel you part of Barclays family soon you step into office
They're infested with mice! I've lived in 2 different apartments on complete opposite sides of the complex and I've had several mice in each apartment. They don't do anything about it. Quick fix cover up work in maintenance. Has to have my garbage disposal repaired, in must have leaked they use my hand towels in my bathroom to clean it up and left them in the middle of my kitchen floor.
Be prepared to be amazed living in our very diverse aged and ethnic community, saving money, enjoying amenities, and convenient location! The apartments were of older construction; I can truly say, I have not regretted my decision. To date, customer service has earned my 5-star rating. Not only is the emergency maintenance very accessible and timely in their response, but since I moved in 2009, they have replaced much of the complex’s roofing, re-sealed our parking lot, kept the parking lots lit up, landscapers keep the property looking nice and plowed out promptly in the winter, and bi-annual replacements of our a/c and furnace filters are done on schedule. In my 1 bedroom apartment, they have replaced my bedroom fan, kitchen spigot, patio blind slats, patio fencing, and even had AEP replace my light bulbs with new energy-efficient ones to help us save money. Soon, they will be installing new carpeting! Love the convenience of being close to all freeways, and a 10-minute bus commute to the airport! Lastly, I also enjoy the convenience of our well-maintained, 24/7 laundry room, our Olympic-sized, 9’ deep pool, and my private, enclosed patio that has beautiful flowers with delightful visiting hummingbirds and goldfinches!
Being new to Columbus, OH, a single woman, I excitedly accepted a position at the VA Outpatient Clinic. I didn’t want to get stressed out commuting, so, it was imperative to find a decent apartment complex nearby, for despite inclement weather, it is mandatory to report to work for our veterans. So, moving right across from the facility, less than 1 mile seemed the perfect location. I was warned that the neighborhood was not the greatest, but after talking to 3 residents (older couple lived there 18 years, a Vietnam Veteran lived there 5 years, and a young, single woman who lived there just over a year) who all reported that they were pretty happy living there. Apparently, the nearby, former apartment complex has been replaced by a new school. Secondly, I wanted management to be sensitive for our safety and timely customer service, especially, since the apartments were of older construction. I can truly say, I have not regretted my decision. To date, customer service has earned my 5-star rating. Not only is the emergency maintenance very accessible and timely in their response, but since I moved in,2009, they have replaced much of the complex’s roofing, re-sealed our parking lot, kept the parking lots lit up, landscapers keep the property looking nice and plowed out promptly in the winter, and bi-annual replacements of our a/c and furnace filters are done on schedule. Soon, they will be installing new carpeting! The office personnel always listen attentively to your needs and are great in holding our packages safely until we are home, plus, I have received the $200 resident referral bonuses promptly once the new residents moved in! I also enjoy the convenience of our well-maintained, 24/7 laundry room (the residents are friendly and never had anything stolen!), swim every summer in our Olympic-sized, 9’ deep pool, the bus stop is right across the street, the airport is just 10 minutes away by bus (no parking fees!), the freeway entrances about a mile away (I-670/I-270, and Easton is just right up the street. So, coming home is so wonderful - viewing my beautiful private patio with colorful flowers, hummingbirds, and goldfinches. Just a splash of paint and spray-painted my blinds, my little, reasonable beautiful apartment is carefree, c
Located in a quiet neighborhood, the property manager is nice but the property is in need of some upgrades. Sometimes some repairs are done with low quality. Instead of hiring professionals to deal with problems like roofing issues or pest problems. Wish they would get it together because I really like my apartment but it may be time to move.
I love the neighborhood, the community is good, maintenance is top notch from my experiences (things get fixed within a couple days)... my only issue is with parking, there is not enough of it so when I get home from work I have to walk 100 yards to my door, oh and I forgot there has been a problem with rodents outside (raccoons, opossums, skunks... yes skunks lol) and there are plenty of cats
Neighborhood is great. Police department nearby. Rent is affordable. Maintenance comes fast but does poor job..quick fixes. The main office staff very friendly and helpful. Different variety of people live here.. College kids to elderly to families with kids. Sometimes can get noisey. Parking always available. Overall decent place for the price.
My child and i have lived here almost 2 years and plan to stay many more.. It's quiet, family friendly, pet friendly, maintenance is always on top of things, staff is quick.. I have referred a few people here. The few inside issues i have had maintenance came as soon as they could. That's a huge deal to me. No issues here!
i love it pet friendly and the people are so nice and make u feel welcomed.
If You Are Looking For A place To Start Off This Is A g=Great First Apartment,Have A Few Issues With Management, If You Stay Out Of Their Way, I Am Highly Allergic To Cats And They Have Two Living In The Rental Office!
After living in the heart of down town Columbus, Barclay Square was a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle and constant traffic that is part of the down town living experience. Located right behind an affluent Bexely neighborhood, the community is quiet, friendly, and feels safe with ready access to the Bexley Police department. Still close to down town (about 10 minute commute) with easy freeway access to shopping at Polaris and Easton Town Center (about 15-20 minute commute) the location also allows for an easy commute to both Columbus College of Art and Design and Capitol University.
