Rising out of the prairies and cornfields of the heartland, Omaha serves as a cultural wellspring and economic powerhouse for the region. Downtown has seen a lot of development in recent years, and now serves up a huge selection of trendy shopping, dining, and entertainment, particularly around the Old Market; the Blackstone neighborhood has also emerged as a new hotspot for adventurous restauranteurs and hip nightlife. The robust live music scene in Omaha is one of the city’s worst-kept secrets, with national publications singing the praises of popular venues like the Waiting Room and the annual Maha Music Festival at Stinson Park.
Omaha is serious about college sports – the University of Nebraska’s Cornhuskers are hometown heroes, and the city is the longtime home to the College World Series every summer.

Property Ratings at Eden West Apartments
This place thinks updating lighting outside, removing beautiful trees and their “nifty” loft apartments will distract you from the horrible craftsmanship and bad piping and 1970s windows and doors that leak your heat and a/c that they have not updated. Find another place to live.
Since we moved to Eden West in May, we have been very comfortable. We have friendly neighbors, it is very quiet, and there are many stores nearby. Maintenance keeps the property very clean - no trash lying around, and the landscaping is very nice. They write a monthly newsletter for us which is fun and informational.
D’ante is by far the most stuck up employee we have encountered. He was very rude and kept rushing us because it was his lunch break, even after we told him we took our lunch break to go there. He also said he makes so much commission and rents a lot of rooms so he doesn’t work Saturday’s and didn’t want to come in on his day off. Honestly left this place so disappointed. Do better.
This was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. I lived in a loft for 3 years, and initially really liked my unit. However, from the beginning the toilet did not work properly. I reported it about a dozen times in the 3 years I lived there, and almost every time I did, maintenance staff would claim nothing was wrong. This became a running theme during my stay: Report an issue, maintenance claims nothing is wrong, report several more times before issue is resolved. Last summer both my girlfriend's and my car were broken into. When I asked Eden West what they were doing to improve security, their only response was that they wanted a police report. They refused to answer, nor did it appear, there were doing anything to make the complex safer. I just moved out at the end of March 2017, and never received my security deposit or a statement in the 2 week window mandated by NE state law. When I contacted Eden West about this, they emailed me a bill for 3 times my security deposit, claiming I am responsible for the carpet being replaced etc. When I asked for proof that the carpet was new when I moved in, and other proof that needs to be furnished to someone when charging them like this, they refused to send me anything, and sent my account to a collections agency. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
ive only heard great things about this place and when i visited it was better then what i've heard. i instantly fell in love with the place
I simply love this apartment. It is a loft apartment, very spacious and well maintained. The maintenance staff is always prompt and quick to respond to all requests. The leasing staff is very friendly and personable. The swimming pool and workout facility and laundry facility are great and always open when you need them to be. Overall I recommend this apartment to anybody that's looking for a nice quiet loft that's not downtown.
I have been living at Eden West for 6 years, with my two dogs. I love coming home to the quiet peacefulness. There is a lot if grass all around for my dogs and doggy waste bags are provided on grounds.
The loft style apartments have wonderful high ceilings that make it feel open and comfortable. The only down side is limited storage space.
There is plenty of food and shopping in walking distance. Quiet on a street that is not a main drag. Staff is friendly and easy to work with.
I visited and fell in love! If you want a quiet neighborhood this is the place for you! I only opted out due to the lack of bus services. Happy hunting!
