While it may be next door to a legendary mouse and the ornate castle of a storybook princess, Platinum Triangle attracts those who prefer Ducks and Angels. This district is home to Angel Stadium and the Honda Center -- home to the Angels baseball team and the Anaheim Ducks hockey team, respectively. The neighborhood is located in the triangle formed by the intersection the Santa Ana and Orange Freeways. The Santa Ana River, along with the Santa Ana River Trail and Bikeway, extends along the eastern edge of the neighborhood.
The Platinum Triangle started out as an industrial area, but today it is filled with luxury apartment communities and palm trees. It is quickly becoming a popular mixed-use neighborhood, with street-level shops and restaurants lining wide sidewalks. For more shopping, residents head south to the nearby Outlets at Orange. We are approaching our two year mark of living here at Jefferson Edge and our experience here has been fantastic. The apartment complex is undoubtedly a magnificent-modern piece of architecture, but our primary concern wherever we live is always the responsiveness of the maintenance crew. Moreover, I must say each of our service requests have but resolved either instantaneously or in a timely manner. I look forward to another year here at Jefferson Edge.

When I started my apartment search, I soon realized the quality of buildings and fixtures stood out in all Greystar properties compared to others. I found Edge to be reasonably priced for what it offers with its proximity to Irvine. I wouldn't recommend anyone to move into this apartment until they figure out the right management to hire. People who actually possess customer service skills and actually knows how to run an apartment community.

I am a resident a current resident and I do NOT feel safe getting packages delivered at Edge. I have had one package stolen from my front door. I know it was delivered because I received an image from FedEx of the delivery at my front door. I do not know why FedEx did not use the lockers provided. Another time, UPS delivered a package to me at the lockers and when I arrived, there was nothing there. Management told me to file a claim because there was nothing that they can do. If you walk into the mail room, you will find multiple boxes ripped open with the items taken out. Edge has done nothing to solve this problem and they refuse to hold packages at the front office.

If I could rate no starts I would. I really wish I had nice words for this place but I don’t. To say the least this place is terrible and unorganized. The head supervisor is definitely no good at their job. Not only was the property left with just one new Leasing Consultant over the holidays, which she was very sweet, but there was also no maintenance. How does one as a Property Manager let that happen? What happens in the case of a maintenance emergency? Do I just let my toilet flood my apartment? Or manage in my kitchen with no lights? Not to mention the robberies that take place within the complex. I believe new management is needed, and obviously I’m not the only one who believes that. This has definitely ruled out all Greystar Properties for me. Jefferson Edge, do better.

I really would love to enjoy and recommend living here because of the location. But I just can't. Don't even bother living in this community. The management is very incompetent. The community is lacking security. Burglaries, stolen packages are normal issues. This is not a luxury apartment. It is an overpriced apartment living. The building is poorly constructed. You could hear your neighbor's every move and phone conversations. Trash rooms are literally trashed every day.

It sucks to say this because I really do enjoy the apartment, aesthetics, neighbors and most of the amenities but I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Every tenant I have met/hung out with (I havent met everyone by any means) shares the same sentiments on their experience here. It has a ton of potential but falls short in almost every category. Although the cost of rent is at market level, or perhaps slightly under, we dont get the value of what we pay for.

Management offers incentives for positive reviews, don't be fooled. Take a look - all the good reviews only talk about the appearance and the leasing process. Most reviews written by existing tenants are 1 star - and it's for a reason. I've been here a year. They do NOT honor the covenant of quiet enjoyment. - A tenant recently had their life threatened by a burglar in the parking lot, and there is no cell signal or panic buttons to call for help. - Storage units are broken into - Cars are broken into - Transients are running around the property testing doors and trying to get into units - People pee in the parking lot in front of the management office and they do nothing - Some tenants let their dogs pee in the property; in elevators, hallways, etc. - "Non smoking" property, but you cannot escape the smell of smoke and marijuana, even inside your unit. - Cigarette butts and trash sits on the property for weeks at a time - Trash rooms are constantly overflowing more than half of each week, people leave their garbage on the ground because they can't put it where it belongs. - There is almost zero guest parking, and if you have more than 2 cars you will have to pay $100 per month for an additional space - There are so many false alarms that during an actual fire recently management had to send an email saying it was real and that we needed to evacuate - Management refuses to address noisy tenants who violate the quiet hours - People are nearly hit in the garage on a regular basis because management does nothing about people who speed in the lot There are "security doors" and "gated parking" - but management is quick to point out that security is not promised in the lease. Management hired the most minimum possible night time security, likely just to cover themselves if they are sued for neglecting tenant safety. You almost never see the guard and you can never get through to their dispatch if there is an issue. Do your research, don't be fooled by the appearance like most of the tenants here who are just waiting for their leases to expire so they can leave. If the manager replies to the review stating he is concerned and wants to talk about resolving the issues, it's all show. We have all talked to management until we were blue in the face, and the truth is in their inaction.
