Property Ratings at Edgewood Park Apartments
I think the maintenance team is reliable, personalble, and knowledgeable. I just have one complaint...people leave their trash in the hallway, which van lead to a pest infestation. We have already seen evidence of such.

The apartment is beautiful Despite some of the cosmetic issues that are very minimal I really love the staff and I really love the building, I just would like things to be done in a more timely Fashion

Worst management I’ve ever experienced. Doors and walls were damaged upon move in. Mice infestation, and very rude maintenance team. Overall, highly overpriced and unsanitary, would not recommend.

I currently live here and am waiting for my lease to be up. I would break it but they make sure it hurts when you do (read the fine print). Been here 2 years and roaches have been present 75% of the time. They use ineffective means to control them and are not proactive. There are always massive potholes on the street in front of the buildings (may be out of the management's control, but you still have to deal with them). People have been sleeping in the hallway and laundry room, because the buildings are not really secure. The low rent will attract you, but understand you WILL deal with a lot of low-rent issues! Did I mention the roaches?!

I made an appointment days ago and was told to be there at 2. There is no leasing office they just have taken over an apartment. No one was there. Apparently only 1 person on staff. She was almost 45 minutes late, even after being called by maintenance to come give the tour. She then had an attitude and refused to look at us while she was speaking then told me I couldn't take any tours because they have no apartments available! Asked me if I wanted to be on a waiting list and apparently rent changes daily depending on who knows or cares. It was awful. She was so rude and dissmissive, also a man was apparently waiting outside the building for his near entire lunch break to pay rent because once again. No actual office just a locked apartment with no one in it. Couldn't believe how unprofessional and rude the whole interaction was. I highly suggest not moving here.

They never answer and are never in the office they always have a sign up saying be back at x time or will be back after lunch ? I can never get a hold of anyone over the phone on both numbers. It's ridiculously annoying now. I'm having a huge non emergency issue in building 390 and nobody wants to pick up or return a phone call. I'm going to try and contact corporate I hope they can help me figure this out I've been renting for almost two years like let's get it together

Louis, we're very sorry for any difficulty you've had in getting in contact with us. First let me start by saying I love the layout of my apartment. The size is very spacious for a one bedroom! there is lots of closest space throughout the apartment. They even have xtra storage in the basement. The kitchen has nice cupboards and appliances. There is not a lot of counter space but it works. When I first moved in(2013) I had a lot of issues with people being extremely disrespectful. this could be anything from loud music to large groups hanging out in the hall smoking, being loud and obnoxious. My building is very quiet now. Maintenance has always politely taken care of any issues right away. lots of the things people complain about seem to be mostly their own fault. I have lived here 4 years and have not had any bugs. When it comes to heat I am not sure why some of the other reviews complain about it. maybe they are a lot older than this one and the issue has been fixed? My apartment was always warm in the winter.

You have to pay for all utilities plus rent. It's freezing in the winter. The bathrooms flood the landlady doesn't work with you. I just wouldn't recommend this place.
This place is a dump! I can't wait to move some place nice. I've been here for 4 years it was my first apartment so I wasn't expecting much and my options were limited! My rent was $399 when I moved in they recently tried to hike my rent to $560 and I refused to pay that much especially because I'm still staying in my out-dated 1 bedroom. They have been under new management every year I lived here. I have had everything from roaches, mice, there was a RAT and I got no assistance from the office no matter how much I complained and of course by the time they did send "PEST CONTROL" out there was "no sign" of any rodents. (Well DUH I had to have my uncle come in and get rid of the mice, he ended up killing the rat). We even had bedbugs at one point needless to say I wont be bringing any furniture with me when I move. I was 20 and single when I first moved here. I am now married with a kid and this is not suitable living for my son. They CONTROL the heat so its freezing in the winter... I have to turn my oven on just to get adequate heat in my apartment. I am literally counting down the days until my lease is up.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone EVER! I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!
Only utility is electricity, however, apartment gets truly cold in the winter, don't control the heat, water tends to get cold in the middle of a shower.
counting the days down until my lease is up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My apartment was great until after month of me staying in it... I have children who of course like kids do make prints on the wall,so i go to wipe down my walls and yep the paint wipes straight off the wall. So needless to say they did a bad paint job. The area is wondurful though.. Its pretty roomy as well except for the bathroom its like a box. The maintenance people come when they want unless its an emergency. Overall staying here beats living on the streets so my home is ok.
