Property Ratings at Edinburgh Courtyard by Wiseman
Hello - I currently live in the EC building "managed" by Wiseman. I also work in commercial real estate for a living. Never in my life have I experienced a less competent, less caring, unresponsive, and negligent company in my entire career. I do not say this out of complete spite--though after 3.5 years here I think I can make such a statement--but this company and its building/corporate management are at best negligent, at worst unlawful. Maintenance requests go unanswered (or unaddressed because they cannot access our unit despite having a working key), calls to corporate/management are always confrontational and unhelpful, and more. I've had our property manager walk into our unit unannounced twice in the last month, and we now have renovation work (new flooring) being done above us without notice as required in the lease. This has led to loud banging noises and music in the unit. If I could give less than a star, I would. And I strongly hope people reading this (if any) understand that I am not venting here because of one small inconvenience--this company and building have become an absolute nightmare in our lives. Hopefully at minimum this review will dissuade someone from living at any Wiseman building because this company, in my mind, does not operate in a professional nor competent manner. Plus, you'll pay full market pricing for zero amenities, services, or management. Please, PLEASE go elsewhere. -Stephen
