East Lake, a community approximately 23 miles north of Tampa, sits directly west of Tarpon Springs and Palm Harbor. Route 611, also known as East Lake Road, runs through East Lake, separating the eastern and western portions of the area. The portion of East Lake that sits west of Route 611 features an array of large, contemporary-style ranch houses, modern, two-story homes with Tudor or Victorian architectural details, and complexes that house condos or apartments.
Houses in this neighborhood feature big, well-maintained lawns, private driveways, and garages. The quiet streets and sidewalks are perfect for an evening stroll. With a low crime rate, good schools, and direct access to Route 611, East Lake is a terrific choice for your Palm Harbor apartment.

Property Ratings at Egrets Landing Apartments
I have been living at Egrets Landing for 10 year's now and just signed my lease to extend to 11 years. Location is great and near beaches, shopping, parks, airports, tons of events and a great safe neighborhood. The constants in the office, Sheila and Jessica are truly amazing. They know me on a personal level after all this time, even helped through a struggle I had last year and noticing a drastic improvement in my health and complimenting me on it as well. The grounds are kept immaculate, only complaint I have with this is that some other residents are lazy and thoughtless not picking up after their dogs. Something I can't understand since the property supplies waste bins and "poop bags" to make it easy. Any maintenance requests put in are usually taken care of the same day. In particular, Steve who is the superhero of repairs, is like a johnny on the spot. He's the guy who comes in with skills and a cheerful attitude. Steve is more than just a maintenance wizard; he's become a trusted friend. Together, Shelia, Jessica, and Steve have built a genuine sense of community at Egrets Landing Apartments. It's not just about the physical space; it's about the people who make it feel like home. They have even organized weekly food trucks to come on property as well, and I'm sure that both Melinda and Ruth (the other office staff) help keep things running smoothly. Pools and hot tubs are well maintained and the convenience of package lockers is an added bonus and convenience. There are also basketball and tennis courts and an equally well maintained fitness center. Thank you, Shelia, Jessica, Steve and the entire Egrets Landing team, for making this place truly special and reminding us that it's the people who make a rental property a home!

Your detailed feedback and support is so appreciated. We believe that a 5-star experience begins with the little things, so it is amazing to hear that our efforts have not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your ongoing loyalty and please reach out if there is anything else we can assist you with. It's reviews like this that make us love what we do everyday!
************Read before renting************* Pros: Nice neighborhood, good school district, a very quiet and fairly safe community. The maintenance team is decent and requests are done in a decent timeframe Cons: 1) The staff -is possibly the worst I’ve ever encountered. Their attitude and the way they speak to you is below disrespectful. 2) The apartments - are ridiculously infested by roaches. I mean I’m not talking 1 or 2 I’m talking in the plumbing (coming up from bathtub, behind the fridge, under the stove) and are imbedded in the counters. It’s the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. It’s inhabitable and unhealthy. It’s so bad that the neighbors meet to discuss what level of infestation they have and ask what remedy each resident has tried. The pest control guy comes around once a week but his efforts does nothing toward making it better in fact I’m convinced he is making it worse. If possible I’d consider other properties in the area.

In short, this place is awful! I have a character limit so I will keep it brief. Management is nasty and yelled at me like I was a child. The apartments are nasty and hardly livable. There are ants and roaches BAD. Maintenance rocks, so thank you Steve and Jordan for being awesome and being so nice to all the residents. The apartments are old, and it is hard for maintenance to fix things that should have been fixed over the last 20+ years. NOT LUXURY. Location is decent but school zonings are not great especially for elementary. Dog park and kid park are not great not a lot of shade from the sun. Parking is bad and break ins occur often. The company has a ton of FAKE reviews all ranging at the same time saying the same thing with slight variation of the wording giving 5 stars. AVOID this place at all costs. NOT worth the outrageous price gouging that they are doing. Gym is not open 24/7 and be careful at the pool they will trespass after dusk. MANAGEMENT IS ATROCIOUS. 0 STARS. (I lived here for 13 months).

Hi there. While we appreciate most feedback, we are very disappointed about yours. We take these reviews seriously and look to them to make improvements to our community. We value your input and hope we can speak with you directly to learn more about your living experience when you were a resident. Please give us a call when you can. Thanks.
I have had the absolute best experience living at Egret's Landing. The apartment itself is amazing- perfect layout, spacious, nice preserve in the back. But the best thing about this complex is the maintenance team. They are incredibly quick to respond to maintenance requests, big or small. A few months ago my washer broke and the team was quick to fix it. Last week it broke again and instead of just temporarily fixing it, they replaced it with a brand new washer! The same thing happened with my sink disposal. It stopped working and instead of somewhat repairing it, they replaced it with a new one! Aside from the incredible maintenance team, the ladies in the office are wonderful. They're kind and patient, and quick to respond to questions and concerns. One of my neighbors had a dog that barked constantly when the owners left, and when I shared my concern with the office, they were very intentional about solving the issue. I haven't heard barking since. I'm just so thankful to live in a community that doesn't bring me any additional stress in a time when COVID and just normal life causes enough stress already. Thank you Egret's Landing!

Thank you for the kind words and the 5-star rating! We appreciate your positive feedback about the management staff as we always strive to give our valued residents the best experience possible. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to enhance your already positive living experience here at Egret's Landing Apartments! It's reviews like this that make us love what we do!
Lived here for over two years now. Was nice in the beginning even though the office staff is very rude and unhelpful. Every week now we have a maintenance issue. Broken air, broken fridge, dishwaster, I could go on and on. They just band aid everything unless you call a million times threatening Prices have doubled also which is awful for how bad the service is. Save your money and buy a condo or go somewhere else. Very sad and I NEVER write reviews but people really need to be warned.

Do not move here unless you like living with cockroaches! I filled my first complaint within 12 hours of moving in and 9 months later I’m still dealing with this problem! I can’t even cook or make a pot of coffee due the infestation!! We are moving out the end of the month and iof course being charged with breaking the lease! This is highway robbery being charged to live in this cockroach infested nightmare! Do not move here!

So grateful to have found my new home! The staff here was welcoming and super helpful. While signing my lease a meet a resident of fifteen years, who expressed how happy she has been here. I am so excited to call this place home. Thank you Shelia, Jessica and Deborah.

Welcome home! We are thrilled that your experience has been 5-star worthy, making our residents feel comfortable in their homes is very important to us. We are pleased to know that you are benefiting from that priority and appreciate your support of our community. If you should need anything in the future, please stop by the office.
I have been living here going on 3 months. Although the apartment has been updated, it still has it’s issues. Very impressed with the service....I have maintenance requests that were answered on the same day! You can’t ask for more than that! The apartment is very comfortable, and the closet space is larger than most. Everyone gets an outside closet for storage. The leasing office is very friendly and helpful. My dog likes the dog park, and the community is very dog friendly. The location is outstanding. The only reason I can’t give it 5 Stars is my neighbors smoke all day, and my allergies are affected. It would be nice to have a non-smoking building or two in the complex for people like me.

What a wonderful review! Thank you for giving us a positive rating and providing feedback on why you think we deserve your praise. If there is anything you need, just give us a call. We want to make sure your stay always remains amazing.
We went to tour this apartment and were unhappy with the customer service. No one even acknowledged us for the first 10 minutes and when we finally sat down with the leasing agent to get information, she was quite rude. Would definitely never rent from this place.
We moved to the 1516 building of Egret’s Landing in August 2016 and still love living here. We inteded to only rent here for one year but our experience has been so wonderful that we have just signed for our 3rd year! The grounds are kept beautifully and they update the grounds and amenities all the time ( just added a nice dog park)! The staff in the front office are always friendly and go out of their way to say hello and make conversation with the residents. If I have a maintenance issue I send it through the resident portal and someone is out the same day or the next day depending on the issue. They host wonderful community events throughout the year and make everyone feel welcomed!
they show you a nice model apt and its not even close of what your getting in to,,We were ready to move on 6/7/2018 to apt BLDG 1532 APT 202 DEBRA show us the apt on the day of the move, the apt was not ready to move in,, the Carpet had stains, nasty, very dirty, frayed and ripped,, water heater was rusted and leaking in to a dirty pan, the drier and washer was spray painted and had a wierd noice, the breeze way was nasty, the balcony in the apt had trash on the floor, spider webs and dust, the porcelan stove had scratches on top burner, the bathroom was sticky, found gooey blue stuff stuck on the ceiling and ,the carpet at the entrance was lifted, look the place was just plain nasty,, So we decided,, not to move,, we were threaten by the maintenance supervisor, that if he changed the rug and he found the spot he was going to charge us for a new rug,,they made it a,,, take it or leave it situation... BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE,,we thought that they were going to change the carpet but instead we got a call from Ms Debra asking if we were going to take the apt or not bc she had somebody else that wanted it, with no resolution, how dare Ms. DEBRA rent that apt that way, staff DOES NOT HAVE INTEGRITY AND NO PRIDE, DO NOT MOVE HERE,, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!! THEY PROBABLY CHARGED THE PRIOR TENANT FOR THE RUG AND THEY DID NOT CHANGE IT..THEY ARE THIEF'S!!!! We Tried to speak to Trish or something,, she is a rude lady from day one,,We called told her what was going on, and she hangs up.Now nobody wants to talk. We are taking this up to corporate.
The toilet in one of our bathrooms has been severely clogged for a month now. We have called the leasing office 11 times about it (half of those calls went to voicemail and were never returned) as well as visited the office three times in person. Maintenance came twice when the problem first started, but they only made the clog worse. The stench of it is so bad that the bathroom is basically unusable and so the three of us living there have to all use the master bathroom. So, essentially, it takes over a month for management to get a fairly major maintenance request fixed, they don't answer their phone half the time, the maintenance team can't fix basic issues (this isn't the first problem we've had with them not properly fixing things), and we are still having to pay rent for a 2 bed/2 bath, even though only one of our bathrooms is usable. If you want competent management that cares about their residents, don't move here.
If you are considering moving to Egret’s Landing - Think Twice. It’s the most horrible experience of rentals I have ever had. First of all, each night you will be suffering from the attack of huge cockroaches which are next to impossible to exterminate. Service is also awful as it takes weeks for your maintenance problems to be fixed. Another negative thing is the fact that parking lot is always full. IMPORTANT! Last year me and the other tenants had lots of money issues with them. The rental was higher than it should be. If you want to terminate the lease, they will lie to you and say that the replacement tenant is found and then in a year you will receive a bill from Fair Collection Agency claiming that you have to pay the full sum!!!!! Even considering the fact that you brought you friend to sign the contract with them to speed up your termination. So, think twice as behind the smiles there are crappy people with crappy attitudes!!! STAY AWAY!!!
Moved in July '15 for amenities, location, quiet neighborhood, screened-in porch, overall size of apt for price, and pet friendly. Had a few things which needed fixing upon moving in. All maintenance concerns were dealt with day of request or very next day because they needed parts. Maintenance staff very friendly whom I had contact with. They leave a maintenance report detailing exactly what they fix. Called office and left message about overgrowth of brush which was taking over a parking spot and literally an hour later there was a tree trimming company on site taking care of the issue. No joke. They also provided all residents with very useful preparation information on what to do/what to avoid doing ahead of Tropical Storm Erika. Property grounds are always well-maintained, residents I've met are friendly and those with dogs use designated areas and properly clean up after them. Honestly I've no complaints, only accolades, and I'm happy to reside here :)
The pool is always closed for weeks on end. There are more police coming and going in the last 2 years. The printer in the room open to the residents has never worked. And, rent is very high. What they don't tell you is that the water bill is around $50 and the rental insurance is around $200. I have seen a steady stream of people moving out, so beware!!
Most likely will not be renewing my lease here. Bugs, noise, and parking are just a few of the issues encountered.
