Absolutely terrible communication, they put us on a waitlist that required $500 non refundable after 3 days and then petitioned us for info multiple times that ran over the 3 day limit. They are only here for your money. The apts themselves are fine but the process is exhausting and building management is incompetent overall, whatever you do I HIGHLY urge you to look elsewhere, these folks are not worth it.

Looks nice on the surface but really quality cheap plumbing and amenities. Also once you’re living here you’re no longer valued. Any request or work order takes forever and management acts like you’re the biggest burden for wanting things fixed. They say they have security and concierge though dropped those services, I at least didnt seen any for the better part of a year before moving.

If you’re applying for an apartment or showing any interest in renting, don’t expect nearly as much response as a resident. When I first toured, they showed me an apartment that was A) Not the unit they ended up giving me B) A different floor plan, C) on a different floor than the actual apartment. I didn’t get to see my actual apartment since move in day. The management takes weeks or even months to reply if at all. The mail room is a mess. There is absolutely no order to their system, they just put it on whatever shelf it fits on. Some of the hallways smell bad pretty often due to the dumpster in the loading dock that half of the time has the door wide open. Despite what may be insinuated, there’s no concierge. My apartment has quarter walls all throughout, it just looks like an oversight. I really wouldn’t go with them, I’ve had a terrible experience here. Look for other apartments around the area that are more reasonably priced for the quality and with decent reviews. Seems like almost everyone here has had a bad experience. :/

If I could rate this organization at 0 stars, I would. My husband and I had a bad experience with Eitel Apartments from the very beginning. Management consistently overlooks important details, has poor communication (it either takes them days to respond or you have to do significant follow up to get answers and it's rare that someone is available in the office or answers the phone) and is snarky or rude when communicated with. They will tell you that there's on-site security and concierge when you move in - we moved out mid May and hadn't seen a security guard for months and hadn't seen a concierge for even longer. Even when they had the concierge, the concierge doesn't do anything. They will tell you whatever you want to hear and offer you move-in deals to get you in the door but they do not value the tenants that they currently have. If you decide to move in despite this warning, take photos of EVERYTHING before you move in and when you move out because in more ways than one, management tries to nickel and dime their tenants for everything that they can. I could give a million examples of the ways that living here was extremely frustrating and/or unsafe. Save your money and move to literally any of the other apartment buildings in the area.

Management turnover is high, with each new batch somehow managing to be worse than the previous group. Maintenance doesn't view the ticketing system, have to call and complain to get air conditioning or heating fixed in a vaguely timely manner. Even then they will try to drag their feet

Terrible management company. The building is poorly maintained – the hot water doesn’t work well, the elevators break all the time, the fire alarms go off frequently, the amenities are often broken or unusable, and the garden area walkway has deteriorated to the point that it’s unsafe and has been that way for over a year. There are frequent billing issues. They double charged everyone for rent one month. They randomly added a new utility charge for all residents to start paying. Greystar coordinates the billing for two of the utilities – they struggled to get the bills right for a long time and then sent an invoice for a whole years’ worth of charges. Good luck contacting them about anything. They don’t often pick up the phone, and emails often go unanswered. There’s a resident portal where you can post things, but if you post a question or a concern, they’ll take it down because, as they told me, “they don’t want negative feedback.” Talking to them in person is worse. Usually they’re out showing the place to prospective tenants and you have to stop by all day until someone’s finally there, and then when you do get to talk to someone, they blame you for any issues and claim that the lease contract gives them the right to do anything they want. Actually, this is true – they put a clause in their leases stating that they can change anything about the lease during the term of the lease. Seriously. They could double your rent a month after moving in. They said this is a common business practice and they see nothing wrong with it. This alone should make you wary of them. They’re also terrible about communicating with residents. As an example, they once reprogrammed all the doors to the building so everyone had to get new key fobs. The problem is that they made very little effort to notify people of this. On the day they did the reprogramming, tons of residents were suddenly locked out. The management company sent an email later that basically said “Sorry we’re not very good at communication. We’ll try to get better.” They didn’t. When we gave them our official notice of our move-out date, we asked if there was anything we should know about moving out, turning in keys, etc. They didn’t respond. We checked with them again as we got closer to our move-out date, and they said there wasn’t anything we needed to know. Then, they completely wreaked havoc on the day of our move because apparently we weren’t doing it to their specifications. Do not live here.

The apartments are very nice, and most offer either great views of Loring Park or Downtown MPLS. There are great amenities and great heated parking---which for any Minnesotan is the best thing ever because street parking is a nightmare and winters can be brutal. There's a great workout facility, a yoga studio, sauna, hot tub on the rooftop patio, movie theater lounge and more. The apartments are clean with marble islands and in unit washer and dryers. Easy walk from Downtown MPLS. Close to the lakes. Great place to live.
I lived here for the year from Summer 2014 to 2015. I absolutely loved my apartment and was very sorry to leave it. The location is incredible and lovely. The only complaints I have are the price of rent and parking and the slowness of service. I made a complaint that my garbage disposal was broken and it was fixed as soon as maintenance was told about it by the management staff... 3 months later after multiple requests and messages to staff. Other more urgent requests apparently were addressed more quickly. Overall, I would rent there again if I had he chance.
