This is one of the worst apartments on the block!! They do not care about anything besides rent money and late fees. They will tow your car even though you pay your parking permit and you don’t cause any problems it’s like they are working with the city for their own financial gain! It’s pathetic the way this place treats their tenants! All of the ladies at the front office are very incompetent, the place is infested with roaches and stray cats on every corner!! the appliance and structure of the apartments are run down and need to be remodeled! Whatever you do find anywhere else to rent it would be better living on the streets than here!! Take heed!! This rating deserves no stars!!!

The apartments are ok questionable at best because the leasing office thinks that just because the pandemic is going on the efficiency of fixing problems like the water boiler for the entire building can take as long as they want. They don't have to answer face to face with tenets. As it stands i get the run around and still have to boil my water. If your cool with that for your family then come join us.
I have witnessed multiple thefts from both cars and departments. Private security is supposed to be in the evenings but the guard is only a few minutes away to take pictures and move to other properties. This is how Rangers 1 Security works with Sol del Río and the administration accepts it
I’ve been here six months and thank God my lease is up in May. My unit is very clean but that’s because I clean it. The stray cats are horrible and tenants still feed them even after management asks them not to. If you move here get a third floor apartment. I live on the first floor and I hate it because my upstairs neighbors stomp around on purpose and managment does nothing about it. Parking is okay if you pay for reserves but the tow company they use is trash they don’t calls seriously which is ridiculous if I’m paying $25 for parking plus and additional $25 for reserved. If small things like that doesn’t bother you then you’ll be just fine here. Unfortunately for me I want to be totally comfortable where I live so I’m counting down the days until my lease is up.
Here where we live????????.. the community is really peaceful and management is really good.
I am living here from 10 yrs. I am so much happy as residents. Nowadays the community is so clean. It is peaceful and good environment. They also do the online payment as maintenance request online. So glad....

This place is disgusting, bad management. Awful. Roaches are one thing but this place has huge cockroaches. The dumpsters are eyesore. The a/c only works sometimes. There's no vent in the bathroom. The 1 bedroom townhomes have very bad ventilation. Your upstairs (bedroom) will always be very hot. And parking is no go. They require insurance for every car you have, limit 2 per unit. And visitor parking are next to the nasty dumpsters. If you hate cockroaches, this place will be Fear factor. I'd rather sleep in my car. I hope the city of Houston intervenes because this place is horrible.
It's nice to see that the new company is working towards making this property beautiful again. I have lived here for many years and have seen this complex finally start to look nice. The management upgraded my apartment on the ground floor and I couldn't be happier. They also are quick to listen to my concern over a repair, and get it taken care of quickly. Great location, nice apartment, upgrades, make me glad I chose to stay through last year.

Very poor condition. Lack of maintenance.The Foundations is unlevel . the walls are cracking. constant plumbing prombles.I want out but unable to find an affordable place.
i'ce been here for 2 mts (since June 12) there are 3 pools in this complex. During this time, 2of the 3pools have been habitually locked. Now the main pool behind the office has also been locked. I'm pretty sure I rented an apt. w/ POOL ACCESS! Wth?
El so del Rio apartments are grate for couples or college students starting off on their own forthefirst time. location is grate everything is walking distance,food market, laundry mat,bus,schools even fast food. these apartments are very affordable and spacious with washer and dryer conn plus friendly staff. A in my book.
These apartments are by far the worse apartments I have ever lived in. I've been here for four months and I've had my a/c work for about a month and a half. It's a joke, they come and look at it every month and still can't figure out why it's not working. It been over 90 degrees in my apartment for the last week. I walked past one a/c unit outside and it was sparking and about to catch the apartment on fire. These apartments could not have passed any inspection, the electrical work is not upto code, there was black mold in my apartment, everything breaks, they charge you incorrect amounts, and they just don't care. If you're looking for an apartment, I would advise you live anywhere but.
Move in they had bed bugs, they cleaned up, they lost my package and other then that they are ok. It quite place not a lot of drama but the apartments around these are bad.
Would have rather viewed their townhome to get an idea of how big the Texas-sized closets are, but they didn't have any available to show. Overall, the apartments seemed OK. There is always a lot of kids running around and playing, so if you like your quiet time and peaceful environments maybe this isn't the place for you. The show home was very well designed and put together. The staff didn't acknowledge us when we first walked in, but after a while we were tended to. Chipped paint here and there throughout the complex, but overall it was OK.
The leasing office staff is unprofessional and incompetent. They never follow through on any task so a lot of time is spent making repeat calls and visits to the office where you wait long periods of time. The apartments are infested with roaches and poorly maintained. The sheetrock is cracking and peeling in several places in my apartment. The hot water goes off for long periods of time(more than a week in some cases) at least 2 times a month and the staff lies to you daily that it will be on by the end of the day. Forget about using the pool because of dirty soiled diapers. DO NOT LEASE AN APARTMENT ...YOU WILL REGRET IT JUST LIKE I DID.....
