Property Ratings at Elements at Briargate
The location of these apartments is fantastic and the staff was always great. Maintenance usually got items fixed quickly. I did sit for a month with smoke detectors that weren’t functional because maintenance got busy. That’s fine, it happens but I think they are overworking their employees a bit now. The maintenance employees are so nice and shouldn’t be put in the situation to work two complexes! The apartments are loud, if people talk in the hall, you hear it all. If you have loud neighbors, you will hear it all. People yelling under your bedroom window? You’ll hear that loud and clear too. Hot tub was broken way too often while we lived there, gates were always down. If you want to live here because it’s gated, go elsewhere. Upon move out, they charge way too much so be aware of that. Carpets were 7 years old and they wanted to charge a part of their replacement cost to us. We lived here 6 years. Again, staff is great and if you want to live here for the location, then it’s worth it. Just lots of issues that came up when we lived here.

Amazing staff that cares and makes it feel like home. Floor plan layout for 2 bedroom is very efficient. The separation of the bedrooms and bathrooms keeps a private feel when having guests staying with you. Favorite part was my west facing balcony. Being able to watch the sunsets with Pikes Peak as the backdrop made the apartment worth the money.

The staff here are amazing and always so helpful with any questions or concerns that have come up. Especially Heidi, any time I come into the front office she’s always so welcoming and takes time to really listen to my concerns, then she follows through to solve the issues I have. A+ employee!!! Tony is also great, when my fridge went out he got it up and running in a timely manner and with a friendly smile on his face. I love living here!

I moved from Kansas about 5 years ago and decided to live at Elements. The location is amazing! I love being by highway 25 and the shopping that is walking distance. The apartment had great closet space and a wrap around balcony facing the mountains! It was a perfect first Colorado home!

After a full day of touring different apt complexes, my husband and I immediately knew we wanted to go with Elements at Briargate. Joseph was friendly, positive, and most importantly showed a genuine passion for the care and well being of the tenants. While finding an apt that meets our needs is important, knowing the staff cares is a high priority and we’re happy to know we can find that with Joseph and the rest of the staff here. The apartments themselves are maintained very well and gated for security. Also the elevator is a huge plus! All in all a wonderful experience.

Would not recommend this place. The walls are paper thin, if you expect to have any privacy, think again, everyone can hear you and you can hear all the noise your neighbors are making. You can hear every sound from upstairs neighbor, sounds like the integrity of the building is giving away while they walk around! Staff was pleasant to work with, they could not do much about the noise, considering the building is built so poorly. Save yourself and go with a different apartment complex. There are so many in co springs!

Apparantly this has been an ongoing problem since the apartment complex opened over 2 YEARS AGO. I continually get other people’s mail, I’m missing a $3,000 check, a $1287.00 check, a sympathy card and WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE!! In addition, the gate is continually broken and stuck open (we are talking 60%-70% of the time) and they ignore ongoing issues with parking, turning a blind eye and allowing people to play games with visitor parking passes. If the other issues weren’t bad enough, the cell reception is HORRIBLE and we are continually dealing with dropped calls. Go some place else that won’t screw up your mail, refuse to fix the ongoing problem with USPS Delivery, where you get the gated security you are PAYING FOR, where you aren’t paying for someone else’s parking, and where you have cell service.

These are advertised as “luxury” apartments but are plagued with the same issues as cheaper communities: paper thin walls and noisy neighbors coupled with complete disregard by the staff. Furniture is abandoned in the parking lot. Dog waste is not picked up and the policy is not enforced. The no-smoking policy is not enforced. Management allows curtains and blankets to be hung up on balconies resulting in a trashy look. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. I was given the wrong address upon move-in resulting in an issue with CSU, after which the apartment management turned off my electricity with absolutely no notice. I have requested a copy of my lease no less than four times and have yet to receive it. Do yourself a favor and save the money and go somewhere else or find actual luxury apartments.
