Property Ratings at Elements of Chattanooga
We love it here! Well maintained and the new manager Dawn is so friendly and helpful. She has been able to answer all our questions and is very professional. We love the location and convenience of being close to everything.
Really have enjoyed living here. They keep the common areas clean, the pool maintained, and the grounds clear of trash and in good condition. The maintenance is always quick to repair any appliances or damages in the units. The staff is friendly and willing to work with you, especially the manager, Ryan. He is such a good and friendly manager! Overall, my wife and I have had little to no complaints and pay a very fair price for our updated and nice 2 bedroom apartment.
This place has poor management skills. My air has gone out 3 times in the last three months. Instead of actually repairing it or replacing it (some of the hvac units are ANCIENT) they had the nerve to tell me the next time it goes out they will just put in window units. Not to mention when I moved in there were ROACHES. The rent is way to high to put up with it. Just look elsewhere.
I would not suggest living here!! They have RATS and don’t do anything about it. I contacted corporate so this is the only reason why they are “aggressively” taking action now. No one has contacted me about the issue ( I had to call and send emails several times before responding) and has not offered me anything for the inconvenience and peace of mind for my home. My lease is almost over and have not offered to let me end sooner or even put me in a hotel until problem is fixed. I can not sleep at night worried about RATS in my clean apt home. No one should live like this if you are paying to have things like this avoided.
I have only lived here a few months but it has been a disappointment. Several reasons, one of the main reasons is the water bill. You are charged an “average” of what other apartments similar to yours (1 bedroom etc) are using so you are paying for everyone else average monthly usage not just your own. Another annoyance is the fact that the office doesn’t take packages which is ridiculous in my opinion, also they have only 6 boxes for packages so most of the time it is just left sitting at your door. Neither one of these things were explained to me when I moved in, it would have changed my mind on moving here 100%. There are cheaper places in the area so there is no reason to stay here. I only chose it for the pool and convenient location.
Ever since we moved here at the end of June we have seen countless roaches in our 1 bedroom apartment and it seems like the office staff does nothing about it, they say the pest control comes and sprays but honestly doesn’t make a difference. We are looking for a new place ASAP!!!!
Don’t move here if you want to be charged a $100 water bill for a 1 bedroom apartment. I have lived here for almost 2 years, my water bill has consistently went up about $10-$15 each month since living here. I called to complain and I was refunded $20 for the 2 years I have been EXTREMELY OVERCHARGED. I’m also charged $10 a month for a pest and trash fee. My apartment has never been sprayed on the inside for pest control. The whole city of Chattanooga uses our dumpsters and it always looks like a mess, but the renters are charged for it . My air filter has been changed once since I have lived here and I had to call and request that. Overall, my stay at this complex has been average but I will be relocating to one of the many complexes within a 5 mile radius that is cheaper, keeps up with the units and their cleanliness and DOESNT charge their residents $100 for a water bill.
There are numerous reasons I would give you not to live at the Elements of Chattanooga Apartments, but the biggest fail to date is that it is nearly impossible to receive packages. There are six parcel boxes and if full, your package will not be delivered. With hundreds of residents and only six parcel boxes, your odds of ever receiving a package are slim. On the bright side, you can save money and cancel your Amazon Prime membership since free shipping will be useless.

I'm sorry you are having this experience. Can you please call the Community Director to discuss these issues. We appreciate you making Elements of Chattanooga home and would like the opportunity to address your concerns.
We have lived in a 3 bedroom in the Elements of Chattanooga apartment community for about 4 months now. So far our experience here has been pretty great. They aren't the nicest apartments in the area, but the certainly aren't the most expensive either. For the price, they are great apartments and you can't beat the location. They are older buildings, but they have been well maintained and many have been recently updated. The community is nice as well. Great staff, good pool for the warm months, decent gym. Overall nice place to live.
