Love the quality of the apartment's individually and the price for the size/quality. The amenities are nice but are often closed and I wish the elevator/key fobs/ garage weren't out of order so often. The maintenance team is awesome and super nice :)

I still love my home! It's been over 2 years and I've never really had an issue. The open layout and lush carpets is my favorite part. The office staff and maintenance team are prompt with any inquiries I have. I like the view of downtown, the amenities, and the location (including easy VTA access). My only nitpicky things are the rent price hikes, the flies and smells around trash chutes that get out of control at certain times of the year, and my tire/wheel got stolen from my car once. Otherwise, I foresee myself staying here indefinitely :)

The hallways throughout the complex are very dirty. Carpets have spots everywhere from dog pee and the concrete is practically black with dirt and dust which never gets cleaned.

The apartments are well made and ventilated. Staff is co operative The apartment location is prime, all groceries are nearby. San Jose downtown is nearby.

I'm a new resident at the Elements apartment and it's been great so far. The location is convenient, with easy access to i280 and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, bright, and well-designed. Building amenities like the gym and lounge are well-maintained. There have been few issues at times regarding repairs, etc, but the management is responsive and helpful. Overall, it's a comfortable and convenient place to live.

Don’t live here. If you do, they’ll charge you if any appliance breaks down and accuse you that it broke down due to the tenant despite all their appliances being so old. Maintenance team is very rude.

Very clean, safe, premium environment. Love the corner unit with full glass wall Managers are really hard working, even through holidays. I also checked neighbor apartments, but Element had the best price also.
The staff is really nice and helpful. The complex is really pretty and I like all of the amenities.

Great location, great neighbors, surprisingly nice gym for an apartment complex, friendly staff in the front office, and responsive maintenance crew. Pretty nice amount of storage available for each unit as well. Bathrooms are oddly very large - if there was one complaint, i would say that the bedroom walk-closets could have been bigger as well as the hallway closet and the bathrooms could be shrunk down.
Relocating from DFW to SJ for new role. Virtual transition is tedious at best. Other properties can benefit from Joseph O. on "how to move from prospective tenant to resident". He gave me soup-to-nuts of everything, including topics I hadn't thought of! His patience and genuine demeanor is refreshing. Many thanks to Elements' team and specifically to J.O. Looking forward to moving in!
Facility overall is a nice place to live. Just any other community, there are challenges and it appears our management team is trending to ascertain an amazing place to call home.
I feel like things break very often. The main elevator has been broken for quite a while. The water has to be turned off for maintenance frequently. The package lockers break. Packages go missing. When you email the people in the leasing office they will respond *sometimes*, but for anything requiring any effort such as getting a parking spot for my co-leasee or a keyfob or form to fill out when I added him to the lease, all these took weeks and several double emails to get any response. I have maintenance items from a year and a half ago that I asked about multiple times in person, and have been told that it "takes a long time to order the parts" (light bulb in living room and broken piece on microwave.) I hope other Greystar properties do not have so many issues.
The complex has great amenities, good location and a great staff. We moved in recently and are enjoying our new home.
Been here for 5 days and so far so good, no complaints. So far maintenance was quick to respond and efficient.
Terrible place to live, especially if you're trying to work from home. Management won't do anything to deal with noise issues.
Management does not follow through with promises made.

So much potential if only the owners would put a little pride in their investment. Letting it fall apart is in no way "Luxury" as the brand sufgests
The maintenance crew is prompt and helpful, but not always thorough. The interior finishes of the apartment show some wear and tear, not quite as glamorous as the exterior. The walls provide great sound insultation, but for an apartment facing the interstate some noise can be heard throughout the night. The inner yard is pleasant and well-kept, but other amenities are predictably out of service due to pandemic. Overall, the complex and the services are nice, if a little overpriced.
Crime in the area is bad and even worse if a neighbor were a drug dealer and management doesn't do anything for it! Been here for 2 years. also, many car windows were broken and 3 stolen cars from the "secured" and gated garage, and other multiple incidents of vandalism. It takes days to get a response from the office, so a poor management team is what you will have to cope with. The apartment itself is nice, but not worth being in the area. if you care about your children and family for sure ELEMENT, not the right choice.
