Property Ratings at Elevate - Denver
I have lived at Elevate for 3+ months now and the complex is very nice, the front office staff are amazing and go above and beyond to assist the tenants, and the maintenance staff is quick and responsive as well. I do want to give warning to any potential tenants planning to move in that be carful of the 'Utilities' section of your lease. They say you pay a "share" of the complexes utilities, but they do not disclose those actual costs. So far my monthly "share" has been $164 and $210 EACH MONTH! This is a very shady business practice. For reference my personal utilities are averaging $40/month. Just be carful before you sign and know that they will be staking more charges monthly to cover their own bills.

Thank you for complimenting our complex and leasing and maintenance staff! Our leasing staff is trained to go over our fee sheet with all prospects. This fee sheet appears on the application as well to go over all monthly fees. We hope that you continue to enjoy your living experience with us.
I’ve lived here for over a year and haven’t been happier. The amenities are great, the staff is friendly, and the price is fair!

I feel I’ve been spoiled with the maintainable team here. Respectful of my home and always quick response times. There’re the GOAT all the way!

Nothing makes us smile more than to hear you love your home! Thank you for the sweet remarks about our team! We appreciate you!
I lived here for 3.5 years and really liked it. It’s a perfect location for anyone that works in the Tech Center. Some of the things that I really enjoyed about living here was the 24 hrs gym, the pool and hot tub being open year round, and most of all the dog park and dog wash station. About 1.5 years ago the management staff all changed, and the current staff of Caitlin, Gabi, and Lucy are all really courteous, friendly, and responsive. They’ve been phenomenal since they came on. Also, the maintenance team is awesome. Tim and Patrick are both really nice and they always took care of my work orders really quickly. Parking is a bit of a problem, but there’s an unofficial spillover lot next door. Overall, I liked living here and would recommend it to my own friends.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Elevate! We're thrilled to hear it was such a positive one and that our convenient location, special amenities, attentive staff, and dedicated maintenance crew served you so well! We will be sure to pass along your kind words to everyone. Thanks again!
I came here for a tour and honestly loved the property, everything was nice! However, management has an attitude problem. The lady who gave me a tour barely said anything, I asked all the questions and initiated all conversations. It was the most awkward tour I’ve ever done. She acted like she didn’t want to take me on a tour. I then witnessed a resident go to front desk with some concerns & when the lady finished helping him she said “if that’s all you needed, i have things to do today”. The vibes were not very welcoming. I honestly would’ve rented from here if it wasn’t for management.

Thank you for your initial interest in our community. While we're glad to hear our community made a positive impression on you, we apologize that our level of service fell short of your expectations. We will be sure to discuss this matter with our team. We wish you luck in your continued housing search.
While Elevate is very appealing from the outside, the company is money hungry in the worst ways. I had my apartment professionally cleaned before moving out. My $1200 security deposit quickly turned into $600 for all their "Charges for Cleaning Needed". Prior to this apartment, I was in another apartment for 3 years. When I moved out I still received my full security deposit back, because of how great the condition of the apartment was when I left. I knew there would be a bit taken out of this deposit from Elevate, due to damage to the wall when taking down photos. I had purchased paint to cover it up but it didn't match so I expected a small charge. Now being charged for carpet cleaning after I had them professionally cleaned? Get real. I was promised I would have my deposit within 30 days of moving. Yet, it has been 32 and still no sign of the check. While living in the home, you will notice CAM charges constantly increase so your monthly payment just keeps rising. Their trash is always overflowing, it's quite unattractive. Parking is a joke, forget about having friends or family visit - highly likely they will get towed. Luckily I paid for a garage but that doesn't benefit visitors. The dog park has such a putrid smell. Obviously I don't expect a rose scent, but the park is outdoors. I don't believe they have a working drainage system underneath the dog park. I received a voicemail and email towards the end of July to fill out the notice to vacate form. and that my lease agreement would end 8/31. I was under the impression my lease ended 9/30. However, I trusted what they said and rushed to find a new home. Luckily, I was considering moving to Florida so that just jump started the process. While I was going through my lease agreement again before moving out (was looking up cleaning details), I realized my lease in fact did NOT end until 9/30. Too late at that point though, I had already put down a deposit for a new home. I just felt so rushed and stressed, but I should have gone with my gut and checked the lease agreement before signing the notice to vacate. One positive Elevate has, is the older gentleman in maintenance! He brings life to the property. He is so friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. If this was a review in regards to him alone, I would easily give 5 stars! I believe his name is Patrick. Overall - Staff is nice, cleanliness of the property is mediocre, and management (or whoever is in charge of fees) is ridiculous.

Thank you for taking the time out to share this feedback with us. While we are happy to hear our dedicated maintenance crew and attentive staff served you well throughout your time here, we are sorry that other aspects of life at our community fell short of your expectations. We apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding that occurred in regards to your lease expiry date and for any inconvenience this caused. Our team prides itself on being transparent in all communications - especially those involving potential fees and charges - all of which are clearly outlined within the lease agreement. You'll find it is not uncommon in the multifamily housing industry for some additional charges - such as utilities, CAM fees, etc. - to slightly increase the overall monthly cost of renting a home. It is also standard practice for the deposit paid upon move-in to be applied towards cleaning and repair costs when a resident moves out should the condition of the unit warrant it. If you have any questions about this or have any additional thoughts to share, please give the office a call. We would be more than happy to clarify things for you. We truly appreciated your residency and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
They have so many hidden fees, and management is very irritating!

Rebecca, we are discouraged by this characterization of our community. Our team prides itself on being transparent in all communications, especially those involving potential fees and charges - all of which are clearly outlined within the lease agreement. You'll find it is not uncommon in the multifamily housing industry for some additional charges - such as utilities, CAM fees, potential late payment fees, etc. - to slightly increase the overall monthly cost of renting a home. While we do our best to work with residents, we are ultimately beholden to the terms of the lease as outlined. If you have any questions about your current costs or about any aspect of life at our community, please give the office a call. Thank you.

I've lived here about 15mos and have renewed for another 15. I absolutely LOVE my unit and my neighbors are great! For me having a management team cares really makes all the difference; thanks Caitlin, Max and Mario! We will be sure to pass along your kind words to the whole team! If there is anything you ever need, don't hesitate to reach out to the office and let us know. We want to ensure your time with us remains exceptional! Thanks again!
I would give 0/5. Worst leasing Management, never responds to calls or emails. If you put in application never respond back instead they come back after weeks and ask for more rent stating market price is increased.

Sri, we apologize that our level of service fell short of your expectations and are sorry that we were unable to accommodate your housing needs at this time. Please note, our rates are set based on current market trends in the area and, as such, are subject to change prior to entering in a lease agreement. While our team does their best to be available to all interested parties throughout office hours, occasional situations may arise that draw us away from the desk for a moment or two. All voicemails and emails are returned when possible. We apologize for any difficulty you had getting a hold of us and for any inconvenience this caused. We wish you luck in your continued housing search.
I lived here over a year starting in July 2017 and it was a total nightmare. The worst problem is the unabated rat infestation. Elevate is still under construction, as is the neighboring lot. Not only does this bring constant noise from the construction equipment, but an endless flow of construction workers who leave their trash for the rats. Numerous dead rats like the one in the photos have been removed. The parking is also a huge issue. Visitors park across the street in office complexes and are at risk of being towed due to lack of parking spots. They also have long wait list for the reserved parking. If your guest parks in Elevate, Wyatt's towing will haul their car away as seen in the photo. Lastly, the staff are untruthful. When I toured in June 2017, I was promised a Fourth of July pool party to celebrate its grand opening by my leasing consultant. In fact, the pool wasn't open until around December (which is a great time for a pool party) and still has constant problems, causing closures of the pool on a frequent basis. Currently, pool has been closed since August 2018 and is still closed as of this writing.

Christopher, We apologize that our level of service fell short of your expectations and are sorry that we were unable to accommodate your housing needs at this time. We have changed management since your initial move in and hope to better serve you as a resident.
This place is something like a mirage. Its quite beautiful but so many disappoints. The central air does not work on upper levels. The parking lot is a zoo. Not only is there little to no parking available if you work regular business hours, even if you shovel the extra money for a parking spot, strangers/other residents will park in your spot and it will take hours for the towing company to respond. On several occasions, my kids and I have almost been hit by drivers speeding through the lot. Twice, either my self or members of my family have been approached by homeless individuals asking for money while walking our dogs on the property. There was an open sewer hole and crow bar sitting in the middle of the grass for weeks, and there is a large separation between the grass area and the sidewalk that's hazardous to residents and dogs I can't imagine why nothing has been done about this. When seeking help from the property manager we have been patronized and lied to! Altogether I think its unfortunate how this place is managed as this place had so much potential.

Please let us know which date and time would work for you so that we may discuss what we can do to help.
If you are a working professional you do not belong here. I can't count how many times my family has been woken up at ungodly hours because people are driving through the parking lot blaring music or revving up their motorcycles. Deal breaker in itself! Plus, far too often many dogs are not leashed which has been a problem for several reasons: always a potential for dog fights everytime I take mine out (countless close calls), passerby and children often walk about the premises, and dog poop does not get picked up by those who just let their dogs out their door, etc. This is supposed to be a marijuana-free property but I too have found prescription-like bottles of weed in the parking lot when walking with my family. I haven't bothered speaking with the new property management about these problems again in a while as it's quite clear to us and our neighbors she has no idea what she's doing. Like I said, moving out and moving on!

The decision not to stay here another year is an easy one. Unless you pay an additional arm and a leg every month for reserved parking you will have no where to park during the week. In addition to a disgusting abundance of geese poop you can expect to find several plastic weed containers around the property. I have kids/dogs so this is completely unacceptable. The new property manager is patronizing and stunningly unprofessional so nothing gets done about problems that come up here big or small. You will be charged a fee to receive packages which get delivered to your directly door. The gym is nice but small children are often playing on machines unsupervised. Overall, not worth the money.

The staff is absolutely untrustworthy and rude. They will either lie to you with a smile or they will be flat out rude. You can expect charges for everything little thing including receiving mail. On the way to the gym, a few other residents and I saw a rat yes a RAT running from the clubhouse (located in the center of the property) to the apartment building across. A couple times while walking my dog there were random pieces of wood in the grass with nails sticking out. I get that a lot of the property was still under construction but seriously?? It costs way too much to live here to be treated like this and have problems like this. Hence why in a few months Im taking my chances somewhere else.

The walls are so thin I can hear everything folks in the hottub and club house are saying; this is with my windows closed! Folks in the pool @ 2 am making excessive noise . I can't get a good night's rest. Can feel when a door closes. The noise vibrates through the building. Not enough parking space for all the units. Have to come home early to find parking. Company charges for everything. Residents pay for leasing office utilities and to receive mail.

The staff was so rude. Didn't greet me at the door, acted like they were better then us. I had to search the entire clubhouse to even find someone to talk to. The apartments are beautiful. But the staff is unacceptable. I wouldn't want to rent here. It's an apartment if I'm going to rent with someone, I would like respect. If I don't see that, why would I want to rent somewhere like this.

The individual below who lost thousands of dollars due to the unprofessionalism of the staff is spot on. That is the kind of treatment you can expect from this staff, if not worse. The minute you sign the lease, you can forget about the friendliness and attentiveness you saw as a prospective resident. God forbid something in your apartment needs fixing. Not only will you have to make several attempts to get someone to help and wait for an outrageous amount of time (I'm talking weeks), they'll try make you believe you're wrong and that nothing can be done. Ridiculous. There are several new and similarly priced apartment options in the area. Save yourself the grief and go to one of those.

My family and I moved into Elevate this month. We had to stay in a hotel for over 2 months which costs us over $6,000 but it was sure worth the wait! The level of customer service is just great. Even though everything is still under construction the property management and staff have went and beyond to make sure that we were OK. My family and I have lived in our fair share of apartment communities that could care less about you as a tenant and I will not name any names but moving into our apartment at Elevate has truly been One of the best decisions we have made in a long time. Krishna, Vanessa, Cesar, Nadia and Sean have delivered exceptional service that is second to none.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback about your resident experience! We hope you have a wonderful day, and look forward to seeing you soon.
We planned to move in on Thursday about 3 weeks ago. Had an e mail giving us the approval and address to change all of the utilities etc. But that very same Thursday at around 1 Am, yes I said 1 AM, I received and e mail from them telling us that we could not move in later that day. WE had been planning the move in with Elevate for about 3 weeks. They knew that our current apartment had already been leased out by someone else and that we had given our notice to move. We had already hired movers, transferred utilities, made plans ans well as we had to be out of our current apartment in 4 days. Mind you, we had to work Thursday and Friday. They not only did this by e mail, but they did not have the nerve to ever even pick up the phone to call us. We spent the next few days rushing around trying to find another place to live. I had to cancel the utilities, we had to PAY for a storage unit. And we had to Pay about $1300.00 in hotel fees, That does not cost how much we had to spend in food since we had no kitchen. It was extremely hard on us. Us meaning me and my 2 children. Then we had to pay the movers to put things in storage and them we had to pay movers AGAIN to move things from storage to our new place. That cost $600. All together we lost about $2,200.00 I told them repeatedly that they should reimburse us for these expenses, which was their fault that we had to incur these charges. OF course they ignored us. Me and my children did not deserve this. Nor could we afford it
