Property Ratings at Elevation Hoover
They only care about you when you are applying and trying to get you to move in. If KaMiyah answers the phone, you might as well hang up. She never knows what’s going on. She is uninformed. She is of little help. If you ask her anything, she will tell you to speak with upper management but upper management is out of the office. Terrible office staff. They will constantly call you and email you while you’re applying, but once you move in, they won’t be of any assistance.

Hello, thank you for sharing your perspective with us. Serving our community with consistent professionalism is always the goal of our team. We are disappointed to hear that you are less than satisfied with our efforts, and we would like to learn more. Please email us at communications@pegasusresidential.com at your earliest convenience.
I moved in February 22. My washer -that I rent from the leasing office- did not work. I called the leasing office, submitted an online maintenance request, sent emails, and left voicemails. Finally, after two weeks, maintenance came by, and confirmed they would have to order a new washer/dryer which would be delivered within three days. It’s been two more weeks since then, and it still has not been fixed. I’ve left voicemails. I went by the leasing office and KaMiyah was unaware of the status. She never seems to know what’s going on. She never answers or returns call. She is not much help. The property manager is never in or if you stop by leasing office, there’s usually a sign on the door saying they are out of the office. I never received my mailbox keys when I moved in. I’ve called multiple times about that and was told they would have to cut another key. I Still have not received the keys either. This place will be in constant communication while they are trying to get you to move in, and once you do, you are on your own.

Welcome to our community. We do our best to ensure that all service requests are addressed promptly, and our team would like to speak with you directly about any issues with mailbox keys or your washer and dryer. Would you please email us at communications@pegasusresidential.com? We hope to hear from you soon.
Poor communication but only after they get your deposit. False promises. Poor customer service …train your leasing agent she doesn’t seem to have any knowledge. It’s always “ upper management “ has to approve this and find you a unit…. Just assuming she needed to buy time knowing they didn’t have what they promised. Don’t waste your time. Make sure the unit is ready before you apply and save your money. They care about getting applications not the people living there. Very poorly ran.

it is basically impossible to get the apartments to get anything completed for you unless it is something they want to get done, i have called 7 times in the past 3 and a half months and they keep lying to me saying they have someone scheduled to come but they never do. i’m getting very annoyed with how unavailable they are and thought that with the “new management” things would be handled better than they used to be honestly. they are so sweet and caring when you first move in but as soon as you pay your first months rent they do not care about you anymore. very poor customer service. price isn’t too bad considering what you get until you realize how impossible it is to get them to do the job you pay them for. i would recommend looking at other places in hoover.

If you want to have your water shut off for “maintenance” or “main line problems” almost weekly at this point. Then come on down to Elevation Hoover. I am currently writing this at 9:50pm and the water has been shut off since 9:00am this morning. It’s ridiculous and constant. This new management does not know who to hire for what problems, and they never return voicemails left. They let people shoot guns with no ramifications, damaging cars. They half fix problems in your apartment. Like putting paint over water leaks, instead of replacing the wet DRYwall. I have lived here for three years and miss the old management who actually knew how to do their job. Luckily I will not be renewing my lease once it ends in December. Good luck to the fool who moves in next.
Enjoy living at Elevation Hoover the staff is great and so is maintenance.
I've been here for a while now and I'm seeing a lot of positive changes, apart from the fact that I love my apartment. New manager and maintenance seem to really be on top of it.
Elevation Hoover. Home of property that’s constantly broken, staff that isn’t communicative, and nonsensical fees. Right from the start, this apartment was a bad choice. On move in day, our stove and oven were both broken and wouldn’t be fixed for several days. We should have taken this as an omen of our time here. From that point on any issues that arose in our unit, no matter the severity, was essentially ignored for weeks and numerous maintenance requests. Busted drawers, sagging ceilings, doors that wouldn’t shut, overflowing dishwasher, pest issues, empty pet stations, disappearing trash cans outside, pools closed for 10 months out of the year, and gyms that are locked constantly only begin to touch on the number of issues that we faced almost wholly unresolved despite maintenance requests. Perhaps the worst of the situations that we faced was the two weeks we went without heat in the middle of winter because maintenance never responded to the 5 requests we put in and the two voicemails we left on the emergency maintenance phone line. Finally, my two roommates and I bought a floor heater and all slept in one room to keep warm. Upon finally moving out of the property, we thought we were finally done with our issues, but we were so very wrong. On move out, we went to the front office to turn in our keys and no one was there. The doors were locked and the phone left unanswered despite it being during business hours. We decided to just leave our keys in the apartment, but we were unable to request to be at the move out inspection which would prove to be a grave mistake. Two weeks after move out, we receive a bill from Elevation for $733 citing carpet damage as the primary charge. Confused by these charges, we contacted management to find that because we had pets, all the carpet in the entire unit needed to be replaced. We asked about the $740 that we paid in pet fees and pet rent, but we were told that pets fees “don’t cover anything”. I’m not telling you to avoid living at Elevation Hoover, but I am telling you to just be prepared to pay for amenities you’re never allowed to use, to live with things that are constantly broken, and to pay for basically useless fees.
I wouldn't refer anyone to these apartments. Bad management. Maintenance are no good. Property manager Nikki is no good and do not get things done like she suppose to. Pest control do not come. They have alot of bugs in their apartments. Too small and cluttered not worth the money they are asking for. Do not fix things. They use cheap companies. They are horrible!!!! The worst ever!!!!! Do not move there
I've lived here 4 years and the complex has gone from good to bad since Elevation came in. Management is combative and horrible. It took them 4 months to respond renewing my lease and they constantly blame everything on the last management company. Funny thing that since its changed to Elevation we have had a drug related murder, garbage everywhere and a really bad management team. Garbage pickup is atrocious, the pool is closed more days than open and its usually green rather than blue.

Hello! I would normally start a response by introducing myself as I’m the new Community Director but I’ll be honest, I can understand the frustration of so many staff changes so I will just jump straight into how I am not going to run the community like “the others” and skip the fluff. I’m pretty straight forward and really like procedures which are in place for a reason. Such as sending out renewal letters 90 days in advance. No one likes surprises and I want my residents to stick around with me because I like you all! We do have a new Courtesy Officer which makes even me feel better, it’s always good to have everyone looking out. I don’t like disturbances or folks who make others around them miserable so bad behavior won’t be tolerated so if you see people causing issues, please let me know! As for the pool, I will have a nice long chat with the maintenance team and find out why it was such a problem. We have months to game plan ahead so it can be tackled early! And I have not had a chance to speak with the Valet Trash service yet but our dumpster service is being changed out on Dec 28th so that should be a big improvement! If you can tell me more about the other trash issues, I would be grateful for the feedback. If you are free soon and still a resident with us, maybe we can chat about your experience because I would love the challenge to change your mind!
I've lived here for about 4 months, and I will say I have very much enjoyed my stay. The apartments are spacious and the amenities are solid. The staff at the management office is very friendly and most service requests get completed within a couple of days! Wifi is also very strong, which is important for me. Excellent location, good deal, and comfortable apartment living.
Before you sign a lease make sure they’ll give the exact unit as you wanted and document every conversation or record it. Otherwise, you will end up at the unit opposite as what you originally requested. Very unprofessional. Bunch of roaches, broken dishwasher smelly odor won’t go away after fixing it. What an extreme dissapointment.

I'm sorry you are having this experience. Can you please call the Community Director to discuss these issues. We appreciate you making Elevation Hoover home and would like the opportunity to address your concerns.
I have lived in the same unit for approximately 4 year and have experienced the same issue each Summer with the AC unit. There's a horrible smell coming from the AC unit. Each year management has continued to come up with excuses but has failed to fix the issue. I am now in the process of contacting the management company.
This complex is amazing, friendly staff and clean environment. Close to shopping centers and I-65 and I-59. Quiet place with updated renovations inside and out great maintenance workers. Pool area not big enough for complex size. Nice area for singles, couples and families. Best spot to stay in this part of town. J'Lynn B Hoover, AL
These are pretty great apts. Water bill is super low and if you turn up your ac when not at home, it's a low power bill too. Free cable! Really quick with repairs and the staff is helpful. I haven't seen a single bug in my place yet ( which is really important to me). They just renovated a bunch of the apts as well. New shower heads. Only complaint is the pool, it's nice, but not a lot of space if it's packed.
I have been living at the Abbey at Wisteria Crest for about three years. Definitely the best aspect of this apartment is the location. It is located right off of I-65 and is close to a grocery store and restaurants. The apartments themselves are in good condition and have spacious balconies. There is a pool, small gym, and computer access in the clubhouse. There also is a tennis court (however the court is not in the best condition - they may get rid of court at some point). The maintenance staff is pretty good about fixing things in a timely manner when needed. Overall the office staff is friendly and nice. Only negative really is the teenagers can be annoying and rowdy at the pool during the summer but I guess that could happen anywhere. So far I have had a good experience living here hence why I am still here. I do not have kids but the Hoover school system is a very desirable school system to put kids into and the apartments are reasonably priced.
The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. The buildings are very old and appears to be slowly renovated. The carpets are being replaced which is good. You can see the progress being made around the grounds. The office staff is very professional and courteous.
I live here and have had no problems at all, the office staff is amazing, the maintenance guys are fast, it's quiet, the neighbors look out for each other and if you have a dog , there is a dog park is a mile away. Cool gym and internet at office too.
I'm a student and live by myself, so quiet ad convenience are a must have for me. Office staff is super friendly and maintenance team gets stuff done the first time. every apartment community is going to have it's problems, bugs, maintenance, etc... but all in all, it's a great place to live I changed schools and had to move, but this apartment was the best 1br I've lived in for the price
I have lived at this community for a little bit over a year now and have NO intention of leaving any time soon! Maintenance is ON POINT and the staff is GREAT - I LOVE the property manager Michelle!
