Just 11 miles south of the U.S.-Canada border, Roseau exhibits all the beauty of rural Minnesota in a compact and charming atmosphere. In its nearly three square miles of land, this northern locale houses a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, community green spaces, not to mention affordable apartments and other rentals.
Roseau Oakcrest Golf Club and the Roseau County Fairgrounds are both popular spots situated near the river that runs through town. 3rd Street holds most of the retail and dining options. Roseau’s tree-line streets come alive in the warmer months, but the variety of homes in this Minnesota town exude character all year round. This is a fantastic area for the outdoor lover, with Lost River State Forest just a few miles north, and the expansive networks of forests and lakes to the east.

I had a very disappointing experience with Eleven01 Apartments. I signed a lease in June for a unit that was supposed to start on July 8th. However, due to personal reasons, I had to break the lease two weeks before the start date. I immediately contacted management and offered to pay two months' rent as per the lease agreement and even sent them a letter with a cashier's check enclosed. They refused my offer, insisting that I would have to continue paying rent until the unit was re-rented or until the lease ended—an entire year away. I was told on two separate occasions that my two-bedroom unit (312) had been listed as available. However, after checking multiple times, it became clear that they hadn't even listed any two-bedroom units for rent. I feel completely misled, disrespected, and given the runaround throughout this process. The lack of honesty and transparency is unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for fair treatment and clear communication.
